But we have gone to get him and allowed him to stay in our homes ( my friend is my neighbor) in our suburban neighborhood. And we go into Dallas to spend time as well. But the last time he visited didn't go well but he has called several times a day, every day for two weeks as well as texts and fb messages every day. He wants me to come and get him to come and visit...his last message said he had been evicted and his dr refused to see him. I don't know whether I should respond or not. IP: Logged |

Not all Scorpios are like that. And the Scorpios who are powerful don't have to say it because you'd already know it, and if you didn't then too bad for you, s/he wouldn't care. Frankly, you both sound co-dependent. I think you need the drama (bad Leo) and he needs the abuse (that is he's TRYING to get a rise out of people, and he probably gets a twisted sense of power out of it). Going by your OP I don't think either one of you is powerful and if I were to wonder I'd ask which one of you is the most out of control. Don't worry about him, worry about yourself, and help yourself. He can't be helped until he admit he needs it. You can evolve yourself, however.

I'm curious about his chart.
Is there a way you can get his DOB? That said, he sounds very self-destructive indeed and I doubt you can help him, unless he's willing to realize that he actually needs help. You can show support, it sounds like you're a caring and compassionate person, ProudLeo, but don't get too attached or too involved. It's easy to get sucked into negative energy and not so easy to get out of it. I'm sure that guy suffered a lot in his life and he's trying to protect himself from further harm but it's really immature of him to let his frustration out on other people. Tell him once more what you think of him and what he needs to do and then get out. Not your responsibility to deal with his toxicity. Best helper is himself, if he doesn't realise this or doesn't want help, then nothing can be done. In my opinion and from my own experiences, Leo would only be more powerful than Scorpio if Leo had a Scorpio Ascendant or a Scorpio moon or even a Scorpio mars. I believe Leos are too superficial to be more powerful than Scorpio. All Scorpios aren't self-destructive either and in actuality, sometimes we need to break down so we can build ourselves up ten times better. It just depends on the Scorpio and their situation. Scorpios have an inner power that cannot be controlled or tamed. Leos are egotistical and self-centered which isn't powerful at all. They have superficial power. If you take away their charm and good looks, what will they have? If you strip a Scorpio bare of everything, we will not crumble. IP: Logged |

scorpios are also the most powerful, the strognest the best the sexiset thericheist, the visionary, the ones who know it all, the most powerful again, they are truly an inspiration to every living being.
leos are the biggest drama queens, what would they do without it? I don't know man. Bad.

I know not all scorp are that way, just like all leos are not the same...or any other sign because we have different placements. I agree with him getting a sense of power out of getting a rise out of people which is why I refused to duel with him over the incredibly rude things he said to me on numerous occassions. I allowed him the upper hand because I didn't feel the battle was a worthy one...until I saw him treat other people that way...that's when I engaged...and guess what, he is the one that goes on about being more powerful but ends up in tears because the world treats him so unfair (his words). The thread was really about what I should do in regards to this relationship. Arw his actions a cry for help...am I wrong if I just give him the boot...seems cold to me. And about out of control...well he's the one grabbing steangers by the collar and the night my friend met him he had gotten intoba fight and half his cloths ripped off. Hes 3 years older than me has no education, no job, no car, rents a tiny closet in a bad part of innercity paid for by the gov. Has major alchohol issues and I suspect he abuses his perscription drugs more than I have witnessed him snorting his xanex and pain killers. Professional help sounds good...but he already sees a prifessional who perscribes him the meds he is abusing. His family has disowned him. He has one sister who tries to tolerate him (a leo...how ironic) but thr last time he was there he stole their alcohol and took off...but then acts like he did nothing wrong. Pretty out of control if you ask me. And I haven't answered calls ot texts for two weeks even tho he has gotten very desperare in the messages he leaves. I need to be sure my actions arw the rught thing before I proceed in my dealings with him. I am a life path 9 and I have an overwhelming sense if responsibility to help others and do what I can to make the world a better place. If there is a purpose in our paths crossing then I don't want to do the wrong thing. In a drunken stupor he tells me "I'm sorry I can't be buffy the vampire slayer like you. People don't like me and I can't be bubbly and happy like you. But if you love all these people then why can't you love me just like I am?" My only interpritation for that is a desperate cry, but I have to protect myself and my loved ones first. I have a husband, children, a home, friends, family, responsibilities, a college education and a long list of pursuits and passions in which keep me very busy. I have to decide whether involving him in my life is a good idea or not.

The only conclusion I can come to is so they can keep from getting hurt...not realizing they are hurting themselves. How can one learn and grow if they don't allow themselves to learn from others? Seems like a lonely and stagnant life to me. Power isn't having the world hate you or fear you or whatever...unless, of course, that's what power means to you but that certainly isn't what it means to me. Only my asc and Uranus is in scorpio. I could care less who is more powerful but I feel like if one is going to state that they are then they had better have valid evidence to support their claim...being of good character in which others respect on the top of the list!

agree. leos use ego as a way to actually cover their deeper insecurities. I'm not sure that scorpio even has insecurities. men and women of scorpio are just .. well, a force.

I've noticed that people are always comparing scorpio and leo. I wonder if these two truly are the most powerful. I guess it would seem that way since Pluto is power and the sun is well the sun! Every sign of the zodiac can be superficial, egotistical,self destructive and insecure. Even Scorpio has its insecurities.They are masters at concealing their emotions that's why it appears like they aren't insecure about anything.Scorpio can be just as egotistical and selfish as Leo and not every Leo is a Sycophant either.Scorpio just like Leo and Aries are powerful but they just like any other sign are not invincible. You just have to find their weak spot take aim and then shoot to kill.Leo will have to be extremely careful with Scorpio if they squared off against each other.It would probably be advisable for Leo to get rid of Scorpio as quickly and efficiently as possibly.They should always remember Scorpio is a lethal cold blooded foe that will finish them off the first chance they get.Leo should remember to use its brains and wits to defeat Scorpio not just its mouth and brawn.Leo should also remember that is fighting for its own survival. I think the two signs can compliment each other if the individual learns hiw to use the power in their placements. I went through a phase of being overly superficial at the tail end of my teenage years until I got married at 21. I just grew up I guess or it coukd be my pkacements or even my life path as a 9...who's purpose is selfless humanitarian. ..although I will admit that is a difficult path to follow sometimes. One would have to learn differently so as not to fall into that attitude as a means of protection. In the same way, scorpios have to learn not to retreat and hide and then sneak back up with their stinger. All signs have strengths and weaknesses, we just have to learn to use them well.
