Who do you think is more manipulative? I'm the Rising and my parents are Scorpio Sun with my dad being a hyper manipulative one. He employs psychological tactics. Do you think I will outdo him?IP: Logged |

I think that Scorpio sun/Scorpio rising and Pluto aspecting sun or moon people can be equally manipulative. But I think Scorpio sun is the most annoying out of all. IP: Logged |

Actually i don't think a scorp sun will make someone manipulative in itself, look at he's chart and see if he has any significant pluto aspects to he's mercury or moon.IP: Logged |

I'm a rising and manipulative doesn't come to mind as a description. I think of myself as more vengeful and taking the time to plot and plan revenge. I actually think the rising is more powerful initially because it's what we encounter first, but the sun is (perhaps) more powerful overall because it's the 'real' personality and not the initial impression (which could be covering up a much softer personality). So, although I'm a rising I'd vote that suns are probably better at 'scorpio' stuff :-)IP: Logged |

I think the rising is more manipulative because it's "lighter" so to speak. The Sun naturally rules Leo who's also a fixed sign like Scorpio, therefore it would make sense Scorpio Sun has more control over their negative traits I think. But as always aspects, aspects, aspects.IP: Logged |

Scorpio Ascendant, moon or someone with a strong 8th house.Our sun signs show what type of legacy or path we strive to fulfill in a lifetime. The ascendant and planets in houses are pure concentrated energy we are born with. no growth is needed, you are born with traits and a head start on a path a sun sign may take 9-30+ years to completely develop and accomplish. The ascendant is much more than a "mask".IMO and no disrespect to my fellow scorpio suns but a scorpio ascendant, moon in scorpio,or person with a strong(loaded) 8th house are the true vessels of plutonian energy for better or worse. You will never out do someone with Pluto in the 7th house, aspecting sun or moon. Or Scorpio sun's. Actually the sun's can be manipulated, you just have to know how. I think people with Pluto in the 7th house folks are more manipulative than people with pluto in the first, but are equally manipulative as those with it aspecting the sun.

I have both, Sun and ASC there, I never thought I would conciously manipulate anyone. The opposite. I'm straight as a nail. Even too direct. But it might be my Mercury&Mars in my Scorpio stellium-company. IP: Logged |

Ive got pluto conjunct my scorpio descendant in the 7th and altough it's easy to manipulate your way up in life, i must admit it's one of my negative trait's. It feels much easier to just say/do wathever works best, even tough it may not be what is true and right. IP: Logged |

I read somewhere that said scorpio rising people are usually born evolved ie in the higher totem of the eagle an Phoenix. I'm both scorpio sun and rising, I believe we have the power to manipulate if we wish so but we don't because our energy we wish to manifest differently, to help people rather than hurt or cheat.
