And by that definition, sexism and chauvinism doesn't occur with the other gender? That men can't do housework or cook? That men can't raise children as well? It goes both ways.

Traditions are traditions because traditions work. If they don't work, changes would have been made eons ago. Men provide. Women nurture. This man just so happens to do both.

Aquarian males are chauvinistic surprisingly. They treat women like buses IMO. But do treat their bros with much respect.

Some men nurture. It depends.
The world is in constant change.
Traditions do work for some - which is fine - as long as they don't try to force their traditions upon others.
And sometimes new traditions are born...

Taurus Sun- He was already telling me , that I would do laundry, cook, like his mom and was already thinking about kids and getting married....sheesh we just started dating, my aqua moon and sag rising ...ran so fast! I really felt pressured in this regard because i'm not ready for all of that

Scorpio's sun and moons- controlling, jealous and so chauvinistic. example - My father (Scorpio Sun), he was so like this. I would never date a scorpio

Leo Men- they can be controlling , domineering, but I do my own thing anway,

The main reason I study Liz Greene is because she takes a Jungian approach to astrology. That said, every single person on this planet has the capacity for any one of these traits. To try to paint another with qualities, either positive or negative, is to disown parts of ourselves. We can't attribute a set of characteristics to any sun sign, nor any other planetary placement for that matter. For the range of bodies we can examine within signs and houses, it is impossible to attribute a set to any particular cohort.

Please do not lump me in with 'all women' AG. I personally have never said that having traditional values makes a man "chauvinist" at all.

A man is sexist to me when he treats a woman as if she is inferior to him. It's all about him, f*ck her. Basically.

And there are many examples of "cheap" out there. I simply gave one of them. If a man is having a heart attack over buying a woman (1) drink, he's a sorry SOB. And a woman does not owe you SEX for that drink either.

Being politically incorrect, I'd say Taurus and Cancer.

When I think Taurus and Cancer, I think cooking, home-life, traditional, 1950s housewife, and having a hard time changing (Taurus), and clinging to the past (Cancer). This is only talking about Taurus and Cancer in a cultural and general sense though.

I never buy drinks I'm not interested in 80's gender roles where a male Gets girls liquord up. The problem with me is I treat both genders essentially the same and forget the entire world isn't like me and I offended a whole bunch of people. Plenty of women do want to feel feminine and desirable. I always forget that lol I'm like extreme end of the spectrum. I've been in the position being seduce by material things from strangers freaks me out sooooo much. I assume most women are also freaked out but forget many have been socially trained to graciously accept it while men are trained to spoil them. I feel like an alien visitor half the time

Yeah. Generally, women do want to feel special, desirable. I can't fault you for being true to yourself though, Kero.

I agree that aiming to get a woman drunk just to 'get your way' is quite silly.

Still do not understand why money is such a big player. Ironically feels so cheap . The most romantic date was just gas money a thought and an adventure. Can never top a lavish expensive dinner lol or an expensive gift

Money is not the biggest player. You can do free things together that are very fun & enjoyable.

But sometimes...money is needed.

thank you everyone! no i do no relate making money and traditional to chauvinism. I meant chauvinistic as a whole. Like some men believe women are not their equal or they should stay home because to them society works better that way.

Guys, this guy i love/ed him regardless so its not about me hating or liking these traits. Its just a general question.
