I have Mars under the Sun's beams (15 or 16 degrees away from my Sun - can't remember). They're in different signs, so it's all a bit blurry for me. So the Sun would actually give Mars more strength?

It rules my 7th house and I've always had trouble standing up for myself, and it doesn't help having Mars in Virgo, which is such a service-oriented sign. I'm so much better at sticking up for others. Maybe that's the Sun's influence? Both are in my 11th.
