I don't see it in Marilyn? I haven't checked her birth chart..Gemini sun, but I don't see the lips thing on her lol :3 -- I really see the Leo ASC pop out with Marilyn..THAT really stands out to me. ------------------

I always thought Marilyn's mouth had a certain look but so does Naomi Judd. I know Judd is a solar Capricorn. Now I will have to go look at her chart to see what else she has!
Naomi Judd only has Uranus and nn in 11th house Gemini. She does have two third house planets, Jupiter and Neptune ( I notice people who own publishing rights can have one of these in that house.) Wow, if you could only see how afflicted everything is in this gal's chart!IP: Logged |

Hmmm I don't know about that Macklemore has protruding lips like that but I wouldn't say it's weird nor do I see it very much in Gemini. I can always tell a Gemini by their hands. Not all probably have this but Gemini suns seem to have very long hands and long thin fingers. When ever I catch this aesthetic I always ask if they're a Gemini and they answer yes. I don't know about rising or moons but Gemini suns have this prominent feature. Well I think they do lol. IP: Logged |

See I do like picking up these coincidences. I have a friend who is a Pisces and my best guess for his Asc was Gemini. This is only a guess based on what I know about him. He has "weird" lips that sort of go out in a pout and he has thin long fingers. I think I'm right on this asc not only because of the looks but it fits him personality wise and then some of the planet placements also confirm his personality/family set up, etc.

Yeah they say that since Geminis are known to be quick because of mercury influence they rule things like writing. Hands are the tools to put language down which is mercurial ruled. Even in the technology age with computers longer fingers reach out to more keys on keyboards quicker. Geminis rule anything pertaining to the hands a lot of them are artists too so crafty long hands give them an advantage. More skill to weave and send scrolls of messages with words and images inside the scrolls to the Gods. Mercury is the messanger god winged shoes, a cap, & large hands holding many folded scrolls at a time. Usually the gods made mercury write the messages down because they were lazy and too priveledged so high and mighty to waste time putting their own messages down. So mercury was forced to articulately put things on paper on their behalf. I don't know about the big lips but mercury is the communicator the messages the linguist speaking many dialects in his travel from higher earth (olympus-Greek) earth and lower earth. So people like to associate big protruding lips with his avid attention getting communication. But I personally just think fast talkers have a strong Gemini influence. Big protruding lips seem more Tauruan or Libran related since they're ruled by Venus. Sensual carnivorous lips that pout are usually associated with them the goddess of pleasurable excess. I have big lips, but I'm a Virgo  . The thing about it is..it's not the huge lips that gives it away to me - it's the way the lips are shaped, or something to do with the jaw - idk! I'm not sure how to even put it into words..lol..can't explain it. So, what about your Virgo/Mercury description? What is the Mercurial side of Virgo? I liked your little story  . I love sending + receiving electronic messages. Been obsessed with computer since the age of 7, and been surfing the web since 10..haha.

I'm sure it does. But Mercury is all about communication, so lips/mouths have to be involved some how (not talking about the sign Gemini, but its ruler - which is Mercury. Planet of communication, etc). And I continue seeing these attractive (and unattractive) Geminis with the "weird" lips..not referring to their size, but their shape moreso than size ------------------

THANK YOU! This is what I meant..I have huge lips and I'm not a Gem. it's not about the size, but the overall shape of (most) of their lips. As I said before I don't see it in Marilyn..at least not on that photo. ------------------

Hey love! Hmm I got interested In astrology because I loved folktales and mythology. I like Tsmishian folktales and Greek/Roman/Egyptian myth most. Celtic myth is also pretty good. I believe astrology was handed down from aliens! Lol sounds funny but I believe it. And I know the constellations shift every once so I believe astrology is more archetypal energies of consciousness first heard about in wise tales old stories.
The thing with Virgo it's kind of crazy but awesome. They share Mercury with Gemini but Gemini takes ahold of the mercurial energy more especially the capriciousness and negative trait like exploitation of the gods loving gossip etc. Virgo is an earth sign a matriarchal energy always being tied back down to earth. Mother Nature like energy always drifting to the core of the dirt of mercury the heart of the planet. Gemini is airy the flyer never touching the ground. Virgo is more earthy. Very analytical quick with thoughts great scientists/geologist and investigators because of their swiftness there transforming path is service like mercury they feel the need to be at service to the world. Gemini may feel forced to serve where Virgo feels the need to and want to. Virgo is almost like an opposite fr. twin to Gemini.
Do you remember Star Trek one of my favorite shows! Spock is home planet is planet Vulcan. Many ancient astrologers believe that Vulcan is the rightful owner of Virgo. That it's a planet or astronomical body much closer to the sun than mercury. More drier in geology than Gemini which explain the earthier natures of Virgo. But since we can't see that close to the sun we may not discover it but many astrologers believe it's there. Some think that may explain the competitiveness of Virgo & Gemini. Gemini trying claim mercury fully as their own. This is all speculation. Spock from Star Trek is a Virgo archetype but he's half human and Vulcan. So there's a waterier side to his nature. Many Virgos are assumed to have pointed ears and thiner more delicate hands like Spock. Pointier nails. Clean completion serious analytical eyes. Even their manner of speech because they're contemplative and reserved come out more robotic and structure. Do I believe Vulcan is Virgos rightful ruler. Do I have proof not yet. But it's an interesting thought. Read Diane Eichenbaum's "Soul Signs" it's amazing!

Oh I don't know if you remember but Kirk is an Arian archetype even the whole mission of Star Trek was just for pioneering space and exploration. Even William shatner who first played Kirk was an Aries. Perfect for the role. Spock relinquished his duties as captain. He would have rather been second in command. Virgos have small egos. Wow! That was beautiful, well said =). I like the way you explain things because they flow and seem to connect very well with my own beliefs/thoughts about the entire situation =). Idk anything about Stark Trek though, lol, but I definitely understand what you mean! Gemini is more chatty, while Virgo is more of a writer =). Gemini = Extroverted Mercury + Virgo = Introverted Mercury ------------------

Yes! Very true about the analytical minds and helping people. I don't like physical work..just mental. I always felt drawn to get a career that focuses more on using your brain/mind than physical/body in general. If that makes sense..lol
