I can have a hard time respecting someone who cannot mentally stimulate me...unless they have another quality like compassion...genuine compassion.But love? I can fall in love over ANYTHING and everything. Whether that endures would be dependent on things like intelligence, ethics, compassion, adventurousness, and above all humor. Oh, being hot doesn't hurt either.

I'm a virgo moon...I don't fall in love with the way people think, although if I don't respect and enjoy the way the think I won't fall in love at all....it's a deal breaker!
But no, the way they think is nowhere near enough to make me fall in love!

It must be some kind of idealism because I can fall in love with their minds and then discover something else and not be in love with that...like a flaw of some kind but I can still love their minds and will fawn over that. It confuses them. I will still be in love with what they say or write, just not with them physically, so all I want is to hear them speak or see what they wrote or see what they created as in art and not really want to be any closer than that.
I often feel too idealistic for the realities of "love," but can get a spiritualized high off the idealized version existing in my mind. The in-love-with-love phenomena.
Maybe it's Mercury Libra with sun in Virgo? IP: Logged |

I also have placements in libra, libra Venus/Pluto/AC with a virgo Moon that is exact semi sextile my Venus..
I guess what makes the difference is being virgo Sun versus being a virgo Moon.I've never understood the whole being in love with love....It doesn't get you very far?
I guess I used to be like that, maybe! But you pick people that don't really love you and totally miss it until it painfully obvious!
I guess Pluto took over somewhere and squashed or changed that idealism in me, maybe? I will never go into a relationship with eyes wide shut again....they need to be equally wooing me or it's over!

I had been wondering if this was the case. My Virgo ex loved me even though he could've dated better looking girls. His Libra Mercury trine my Aqua Mercury, 2 degrees orb. Sun trine sun. quote:

I don't know if this the only thing, but it is the most important. There needs to be a intellectual uniqueness about someone for me to fall in love with them - whether that be intelligence, innocence, moralistic, contemplative or progressive attitude toward improvement with all things in general. Someone with a innate curiosity for the Universe we live in is very attractive to me.IP: Logged |

Maybe...what I meant is being in love with someone's mind but necessarily anything else. People have trouble with that concept because they don't feel fully loved by another.

Like you said, the way someone thinks. If they have a certain way they think which appeals to me very much, then that can make me fall in love with them within that aspect about them, but not their entire being, as they may have a conflicting personality, physicality of them, or straight up, just a mean person. But no, I cannot only love that about them, as there are other factors which need to be fulfilled in order to fall in love with them entirely. Yes, I get what you mean now  Actually, I am kinda like this, too.
But I cannot deny a pretty face when I see one. I am still primitive and cannot easily get past this part in love yet, sadly, lol.
If she has a pretty face, but lacks the mind that I'm attracted to, then it will not go far in terms of me being interested in her. But a pretty face is the only thing that matters physically. A sexy body doesn't matter, as it wouldn't make a difference, but a slim and healthy one does matter. Okay, so maybe I am not exactly like this, as I do need some other things, lol. It's more about how tall they are for me. I like to be with someone fairly close to my height, not four or five inches taller. I do not like it when they tower over me.
Besides I have a belief shorter guys are nicer because they are short and their personalities are less combatant and they don't have as many women chasing them, either, because the women all want taller men.

Ooh yes (Virgo sun here). Also I don't know why but it's usually guys who have mechanical and technical abilities, like engineers, construction workers, etc (although construction workers often have fit bodies too so that probably helps!). I'm stronger on the artistic side of things so when someone can do something I can't in the physics/logic world I really admire them.I'm not so much into the intellectual/philosophical type though. I like thinkers who "do" too. (And on the subject of tall men, the ideal height of guys for me would be about 3-4 inches taller or at the VERY least my height (175cm)- I had some ego clash issues with a few of the shorter guys I went out with!) You can wear your high heels too with taller guys without feeling like a giraffe! IP: Logged |

virgos usually dont like me....i have a pisces stellium and aries sun. they just dont understand the way i think, its very hard for me to communicate my ideas. not dissin them, its just the squares and oppositions are really felt. ------------------
