Honestly, I think that maybe I'm kinda shallow. However, I just couldn't spend my life with someone that I wasn't attracted too. I'm not the "she has to be a knockout" type shallow but rather the "I have to feel attracted" type shallow.

Welcome to the forum and have some thick skin prepared.
It's true that Gemini seems to get a bad reputation, especially the moons like me. LOL
I'm glad that you took what I said well. That's just been my experience but I'm open enough that I'll still give Gem guys a chance to be a friend, although I'll have more of guard up, be a little more distant.

I'm Leo sun too and on here it seems they are loved or hated. Few in between and more hated than loved. LOL

You'll be fine, that's all that I can say. I've been in that boat myself. I healed, took note of what things went wrong because of me, what things might have been missing. I fixed it, and now in my current relationship I really focus on all the little things that make such a huge difference.

I actually am very secretive, in person. It's easy to sit here, behind my screen, and just talk about whatever. I'm in my home and feel secure. Plus, I don't have eyes staring back at me.

When or if I do allow someone in, which really doesn't happen often, they are surprised at how deep and compassionate I am. In a day to day setting, I rarely show any clues to what I'm feeling or thinking.

My life most definitely is affected by relationships and those are of my relationships with my three children. I can't spend a relationship with a woman that I'm not attracted too, definitely not. For 13 years I stayed with a woman that I really don't think I ever loved, she never really gave me a chance to love her. I can never do another divorce, so if it's not for forever, I'd just assume say never.

I will be just fine here, I might be sensitive in person, but here, I'll be rock solid. I don't get offended very easy, I use mind over impulse. I really like to have full control of every aspect of my life, though the emotions are tough to control. Sometimes I'm not even sure why I'm feeling them or where they even came from, almost like they aren't even mine.

Who am I to judge anyone for anything. How can I say good or bad about anyone, when I haven't walked one mile in their shoes. Any person that I might walk up to who has fallen, is beaten, broken, battered, bruised, betrayed, out of money, or just down on their luck, will be greeted with an extended hand and a friendly smile.

The other site didn't really bother me, it was just kind of childish, I thought. It looked like it was just a game to them, just to see how many people they could offend. I mean not all the people there were bad, but there was a fair amount that were quite rude.

I really don't care what some strangers think of me.
