Wearing trousers has been thought of as masculine for quite some time, Barbie. It's not fair to the men. Women can do whatever they want, men only get to wear certain things. It shouldn't be like that. Women can and do dress like men, men should be allowed the same rights. Just my opinion. I don't like double standards and believe in equality.

I understand the times have changed and obviously women have incorporated traditionally at one point masculine bottoms in their wardrobe. But what does that have to do with a man putting nail polish on his fingers?

Your ego makes you think it's wrong to not be masculine, that's your view. Or did you hear it from somebody else?

Your preferences are fine just don't try to push that **** on others. The whole gender role thing has ruined society.

The man has the same right to do that as the woman has to wear the pants.

My "ego" no. I'm not pushing my opinion on anyone. I stated what I felt and she ripped it apart. If you don't agree you don't agree I never said anyone had to LOL.

That's fine and a fight for women's equality may or may not have been a part of it. Joining the work force, etc. Especially during WWII

This is a matter of opinion clearly and my opinion will ALWAYS be that it is feminine and I have that right to think that.
There's no way possible for anyone to convince me otherwise no matter what kind of man it's on or how many men do it. To me it's feminine and always will be.

It seems like people make some threads with the expectation that everyone will agree or be quiet. Well some of us will disagree and express it. This could have all been much smaller if people didn't want to fight. AG said the same thing and no one is fighting with him? What up with that?

Look your entitled to your opinion. I never said it was wrong for you to feel the way you do. Please don't tear apart my opinion because you don't agree with it. Plain and simple. I'm not starting a fight here again.

It doesn't matter what opinions are. What matters is the rights of others.
For instance, I want to wear jeans whenever I wish. Others better not tell me no. That's how I feel about it. I grant the same privilege to man in a skirt. Let him wear it.
There was a time men wore powdered wigs and rouge and all that, it was the fashion.
Fashion is not static. Trends come and trends go. What is important is the right of men to not be treated harshly and unfairly over something so trivial as nail polish, skirts, jeans, what-have-you.
A woman wears a pair of tight fitting jeans, people say, "you look so gooood."
I want to say the same to men in nail polish, "you look so gooood!"
They should be treated with the same reverence and respect, not hatefully, just because they happen to be male.

Lol aquaguy really had me laughing. I think its cool when people have their own style or wacky personalities and dont care what others think. Bc of the dark colors & the fact that he's fixed on those I would think scorp aqua or gemini is in his chart

These are not civil matters. These are all opinions. If you DO NOT agree with people that you know are going to disagree and say something different then don't open the topic. Don't go and attack other people because you don't agree with them. Plain and simple. You're making this so much bigger than it should be. If you don't agree, you don't. It's that easy.

Ummm...

Point out to me where I said that I told people that they can't.
I said it's feminine... Big deal.
some older generational people might think women wearing jeans is masculine... Big deal. People can cross dress or whatever they want. No matter what kind of position of power I had I would recognize it as a right. My opinion would be different and that's Ok.

So, don't twist what I'm saying or assume what I'm really meaning to say.

I just feel it's important to stand up for men's rights because I notice huge discrepancies when it comes to fashion in particular. Men get too much grief for what they choose to wear. People are much more forgiving of what a woman chooses to wear but men are expected to adhere to this strict standard of what it means to be masculine in society. They must wear the business suit or the jeans, certain colors are off limits, their hair must be short, no make up, nail polish is frowned upon.
I guess it's Venus in good aspects to my Libra planets showing. I want things to be fair and have been told so many times, "life is not fair," because people notice this about me. They just tell me that's life and it's not fair, deal with it. Well, I want it to be fair!

Can we just recognize it as an opinion now and move on?
No one told anyone what to do or what not to do, or what should or should not be allowable. If men want to wear it, wear it.
But I'm always going to say it's feminine.

I PERSONALLY (opinion) don't want men and women to mix like that. I don't like crossover vehicles and that's what's going on with people.
It's popular though. I will still believe it even if I'm the only one and people who want to wear it should have the same attitude instead of expecting me to agree.

I guess it's feminine. I think feminine is easier to determine than masculine. There's a lot of misconceptions with masculinity, that to me, are not realistic and not even human.

We are just kind of hinting that there is absolutely a terrible thing at work here. Maybe you people aren't a part of it. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist though. Most people would just rather not hear about it, but tough luck I say.

No, no. Fair is fair. I have how many libra placements, so I know and understand the concept of fair. You don't agree with us and are twisting what we're actually saying. Every person here is entitled to their opinion. Some obviously will agree and disagree with each other. That doesn't mean that either party is wrong. I personally believe it's a feminine act and no one here can deter me from that.

It is an opinion, yes, however, it does interfere with men's rights because people's opinions restrict them. For instance, women can wear jeans or a skirt, in some cases, to work. Men can only wear jeans, if that. Sometimes all men are allowed to wear are trousers and preppy or dress shirts. Sometimes, suits. So you see, women's dress codes are often more relaxed than men's. She has more freedom to wear whatever she likes and work takes up most people's time.
Keep in mind, there was a time men looked quite feminine, in antiquity, and their masculinity never came into question.
Anyway, I am done arguing. I stated my reasons for posting what I did. I need to stand up for men. I have and now it is time to not post about it any more. Thank you for your time, DF and Barbiegirl.

OK. I'm holding back men.
Let the majority rule. If I'm minority I'm okay with it. I've already said that. It's the same process all of these things go through. Some will agree, some won't.

Are you making that up, Aqua

Seriously, if you aren't, then I applaud you for wearing what you are happiest in. If certain clothing is more comfortable, why feel bad about wearing it just because someone is a man or a woman? There's no point. It's just clothing.
