There's this guy that just wears black or deep blood red nail polish... (YAS IT'S A REAL COLOR.)

That's the literally only thing peculiar about him in terms of his style and personality..
His personality is kind of silent and mysterious.
A bit smug maybe.

It's just really fascinating to me..

Something to do with Gemini-third house?
maybe saturn in Aqua?
Nah he seems saturn in pisces age group.

I'll paint my nails too sometimes if I'm bored or someone wants to but everyday is like a major effort for me since I get get my nails messed up often anyways.

I wouldn't mind having nail polished tattooed onto my nails but I don't like wearing it. It looks alright on others. It's just uncomfortable and cake-like, having that stuff on my fingernails and then it wants to peel off after all that trouble
I wish they made nail polish more like a Sharpie marker then I would just color mine in. If they can create a permanent marker they can surely do the same for nail polish? I like the idea of coloring in my nails with a fine tip rather than that annoying brush. I just loathe the status of nail polish in these primitive times. I long for something a bit more innovative and artistic.

I find that really hot though that he's so comfortable in masculinity that he can rock pretty ass nails and still be more masculine than half the guys in the room.

But maybe that's the point..
Some guys are clever.

A man can get away with painting walls and ceilings but not his own nails
Men who wear nail polish usually have girlfriends who encourage them to do so I'd say a man with Venus in a good place would more likely have some nail polish, and being under the age of twenty-five, usually.

Haha I never said they couldn't... But does it really make them more masculine? C'mon now... That would be like saying a woman who insists on growing a beard is more feminine than other women. She may think that but I don't think most men would agree with her lol.

It does if they can pull it off, especially a dark color, the black and blood red strikes me as manly, if it was like a pearlized pink or something it would be a different story lmao

No... Lol i have never understood that mindset.. Ya know the whole "real men wear pink" thing.. It annoys me.. Its like wtf makes you so special? Ok, you wear a traditionally female color and want to make yourself feel better by deluding yourself into believing that you are somehow more manly by doing that. Ok... Whatever floats your boat. I am a straight guy and one of my good friends is gay and I have zero problems with that and I have never thought of myself as more manly because of that. I dont even think in those terms lol

Or a woman who wears overalls and a flannel shirt is more feminine than other women...that sounds better since most women cannot physically grow beards.
She wouldn't look more feminine. However, I get what Kero is saying. The man looks masculine in his face and physique, even has a masculine attitude yet has fuschia nail polish on the nails. That wouldn't exactly look feminine on him. It would appear more unusual and out of place. People would most likely notice it more on a man like this than if it were on an effeminate one.
If a man with muscles and the pro wrestler look wore all black and black nail polish he wouldn't really look feminine either, just kinda mysterious and maybe a bit metrosexual. Black is a metro color.
He could even try to look like a goth if he tried hard enough. Goth is often a balance of male/female elements.

West Hollywood is now home of the first (that I know of) nail salon for men. Not that guys are typically effeminate there (even "in a manly way"), though I can understand how it might seem too metrosexual for someone from rural regions (including rural California, especially near state borders).

I'm surprised nail polish on guys seems so rare in WeHo, however. I suppose a decade (starting at age 16) among those heavily into the goth subculture (where quite a few guys--not a majority, but hardly anyone cared--wore nail polish, typically black or blood red, even in Texas) gave me a false impression that it was more common than it was. 'Course goths can defy gender roles in many ways, not that they're typically trying to make a point by doing so.

Pink is not a traditionally female color, and theres no such thing as "female" and "male" colors anyway. Did you know boys used to wear dresses? I think it was Roosevelt who wore dresses as a young boy. Now a days a dress is seen as emasculating. Painting your nails has absolutely 0 reflection on your masculinity or lack thereof, no matter what color they are. I dunno why but you seem really upset that men like to wear pink, getting mad over something that makes people happy seems pretty silly to me

I went on a few dates times with a guy who used to wear sparkly nail polish. Wow. That was probably 20 yrs ago.

He was super cool. From head to toe. But in an easy casual, retro sort of way. Not this whole metro thing going on these days.

Sadly I don't remember his sign.

"In the 13th and 14th century, in works by Cimabue and Duccio, the Christ child was sometimes portrayed dressed in pink, the color associated with the body of Christ.'
Jesus wore pink

"In 19th century England, pink ribbons or decorations were often worn by young boys; boys were simply considered small men, and while men in England wore red uniforms, boys wore pink."
Boys wore pink AND bows and dresses

Pink was never associated solely with girls or with emasculating men until WWII when Hitler put pink triangles on all Homosexual concentration camp victims. "pink was first established as a female gender signifier in the 1940s".

The whole pink is for girls, blue is for boys thing is extremely new, only being around for about 60 years. Not to mention its sexist to specify colors to certain genders.

ETA: The Virgin Mary was almost EXCLUSIVELY painted as wearing blue, which according to you is a color for boys. I guess not only was Jesus born by a virgin but also a man!

Because a lot of people do have a stigma that men cannot wear pink and that its emasculating if men wear it, hence the whole 'I can be a man and also be masculine and still like pink' thing

Yellow is supposed to be a nice, neutral color and people who are expecting yet do not know the gender of their baby will get a lot of yellow gifts like sheets for the crib and clothing.
So, if you are unsure about whether you want to be masculine or feminine, paint your fingernails a nice, cheerful, bright shade of sunny yellow and you won't be seen as either. Just you.

I paint my nails as well.

I know other Leo Venus men who do this. Of course they'd have to be predetermined to artful things I think.

I have Aqua Moon and water sign asc (Cancer)

I've also had friends who've painted their nails but they were also very emo/goth/scene type. Their nails were black and that's it. No one ever said anything because we didn't care. Do I agree with it no? I think it's crazy how once again society has taken something that has and will always be extremely feminine and make it into some universal thing. I also agree with Aquaguy that's it's not masculine at all when a guy paints his nails, it's actually quite the opposite.

Maybe some strong feminine signs or planets in the chart. Strong venus maybe?

Okay Barbiegirl then you might as well never wear jeans or pants of any kind, always skirts and dresses because jeans and pants are traditionally masculine, going by your own logic.

Noo that's not what I'm saying. Painting and getting your nails done has always been a womanly thing? Has it not been? They started making women jeans when? I'm not fighting or starting a war here SSS.
