I dont know about the other opposites...to me they seem not that similar. But I noticed libra and aries really remind me of each other! Especially their physical appearance.
Libra has more of a nervous chatterbox quality to them, but they are both charming, easygoing, take charge, playful, have like a quiet nobility to them, a calmness in the storm---like an air of holding it together when everyone else is losing their cool, and quite charmingly on top

Yes, we're opposites, but sometimes it feels like we are so similar, like on the same wavelength or something .

Both cardinal signs, both masculine in terms of fire/air.

I really like Aries people, I wish I could meet more of them. Most significant relationship for me ever was with an Aries guy. After the initial getting to know each other stage (actually I was really cool with him on first meeting as he came up to me after a gig to ask about my saxophone - he was a sax player too) we both discovered we had a pretty silly sense of humour. Our relationship was a mix of both sparky and comfortable if that makes sense. lol I think the element of competition though (from him) took over and destroyed my feelings for him. He was great in bed though! haha

They are similar but Aries has more warmth and expression. They are typically more enthusiastic and have this extra something Libra lacks due to Aries being a fire sign and the sun strong.

I find Aries seem like Libras, calm, peaceful, friendly, at first but then once you get to know them or they get angry, the Aries shines through and you are knocked off your feet.

Libras are harmonious most of the time unless provoked over and over and then can have an Aries moment where they can snap. It doesn't last long though and there is usually not much damage. Libras are air and their damage is not too harsh - I liken it to the air turning really cold, really hot, or there being a tornado or hurricane. It can get uncomfortable but usually goes back to normal and doesn't stay that way for long.

Agreed, Aries have much more energy but the difference of warmth is subjective. Fire can burn and destroy. You also learn to not get too close to the fire.

I don't see anything similar except for the chemistry of the opposition. Which also at times repels...

I discover people I find myself admiring are sometimes Aries suns just because of how they express themselves and their purity of spirit. I don't find myself admiring others sun signs nearly as much.

That's like the one pair I use the most to explain opposite signs to people, cause the dichotomy is so obvious

I've noticed this pair is like the most different of opposites. I think Geminis and saggies are quite similar as can be Leos and aquas.

I've noticed with Aries who have Libra ascendants. Other than that nothing is similar. Libras aren't burned so easily. LOL

That's funny because theis is the axis that represents the most differences.

I'd say Aries tends to be more real, if they are happy they are truly a joy to be around and exude a natural charm, while Libra tries for the most part to be constantly and consciously chipper.

There are some with Sun in Aries or Libra (or any other sign for that matter) - who are poorly defined by their Sun - if their Sun is weak compared to other placements who show a clear prominence in their character. So, it's rarely accurate to judge someone based on their sign alone or even to judge the sign in question - if it doesn't stand out in their chart. Also, personal examples can't be verified (and one's word alone - bares little value) - so i find it better to work with public figures - and aim for an empirical approach. In this case - Aries vs Libra as you put it, so let's see how that would go:

For Aries - we have "Lucy Lawless": http://www.astro.com/astro-databank/Lawless,_Lucy

- with Sun, Moon and ASC in Aries - she's one of the best examples for what it means to be an Aries.

vs.

For Libra - we have "Kate Winslet": http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Kate_Winslet

- with Sun, Moon and ASC in Libra - Kate is a good a representative for the opposite party - for Libra.

In the line of acting - it's better to find an actor/actress that's fitting for a specific role - based on their actual personality - than using an actor that's supposedly skilled enough to play all kind of roles. For Lucy Lawless - that fitting role, was undeniably: Xena the Warrior Princess. She made that show memorable - she made Xena memorable. I mean, who else than a women with Sun, Moon and Asc in Aries - would be more fitting to play the role of Xena - the warrior... princes. :)

As for Kate Winslet - she found her place while playing the role of Rose - in "Titanic" - a role truly fitting for a triple Libra like her. She was already acting for 7 years - till she got to perform in Titanic - but that was the one - the role that made her famous. Her success didn't stop there - and not surprisingly, the other movie in which she really shine - as in "The reader" - was revolving around a similar theme - a theme where again, she was someone's lover. It seems like a cliche - in terms of acting, as in - becoming a famous actress for a role that suits your personality. But that's the way it usually goes. :)

Now... i don't know, but i find it hard to picture Lucy Lawless - playing as Rose in Titanic. :D For one thing - Jack (Leonardo DiC.) - wouldn't die at the end if she was around, that feeble looking Jack - she'd be done with him in a jiffy, then - get back to save others passengers, just so - she wouldn't get bored. I mean, this is Xena - we're talking about. Same goes for Kate Winslet - picturing her playing the role of Xena... one thing's for sure, if that would be the case, that show - wouldn't be called: "Xena - the warrior princes" - just "Xena - the Princess." :)

Soo... nope. Aries and Libra are quite fitting for the term opposite - more fitting than other signs at least.

Same goes for physical appearance - as can be seen above - but there's room for more of that - mixed with an attitude specific to this two signs.

Aries...

What's funny is I always think of Kate Winslet as an Aries and have to keep reminding myself she's Libra. I just automatically think Aries with her.

Libra Sun conjunct Uranus opposite Aries Chiron. I have gotten physically violent protecting Aries women. I have also talked my Aries female friends out of violence against others.I have done the right thing and saved an Aries friend's life even though I was told not to to get the the EMT's involved after a suicide attempt, because I don't give a flying f%67 what others think. So, forget all the superficial crap you read about Libran women. We are all not simpering twits.
