It's always ended in deception and disappointment - even with the good aspects. Or you feel like your life is complete, but it's really all in your head, and you haven't achieved anything

Even the good aspects there is always something off about Neptune. You feel great, but then you realise it's not real. Such a weird planet.

I'm heavy neptune... It sucks... But it makes for the ability to intuit your surrounding environments and artistic expression. I don't always mind neptune... Because neptune is kind. Even when I'm deceived and disappointed, I don't feel angry like pluto or depressed like saturn. I wouldn't act out like uranus either

In order to get anything good out of it you have to be incredibly aware at all times and in control of your life.

Your whole life is in your head anyway. Neptune makes it prettier and more acceptable.

You can also be psychic, childlike, imaginative, receptive, and enter different states of being. That why it rules acting.
Imagination can take over.

I love neptune…. you get these amazing dreams, inspiring ideas that pops out of nowhere, and if you sit and draw something on a paper most people would be watching over your shoulder…. it's creativity on a higher level!

My neptune squares my mercury as the tightest aspect about 0 degrees, and I love this aspect (mostly)

I like Neptune as well. It's a beautiful dream unlike Pluto which can be a beautiful nightmare and Saturn which is just stone cold reality and we know reality bites.

I like it. I like being dreamy and wanting to see the best in everything. Though when the illusion fades I crash HARD. My neptunes in cap and conjuncts my other cap planets including Saturn so I can definitely have a handle on it. I think it makes me handle hallucinogens well lol.

I like living in my head and my dreams are what keep me going.

Also. Reality is aaaall in your head. It's a subjective and relative thing. I don't even know what real even is. Because who does really. It's just synapses in your brain. You could create your own reality. Sometimes if you believe in something enough it comes true. Esp in love.

Neptune is a tricky guy and can get you in trouble if you're not watchful enough but if you channel his energy in the right direction, he could bring you great things. You could be an artist who mesmerizes the masses, who takes them on a walk to your fantasy world where anything's possble. They would get their escapism shot and you'd express your Neptune in a healthy way, enrich someone's life and maybe even make good cash in the process You could be an advanced psychic and use your skills to help people if you like. You could be a humanitarian that would make this world a better place.

I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

Without neptune life would be colorless, without flavor, without romance, without art, you would not have a good night sleep or have dreams during the day and at night while you sleep......

.........you wouldn't be able to bridge that gap between alienation and feeling connected to the universe and all living things, you wouldn't have that inner sense of knowing there is more to this, you would not see the big picture, you would not have faith or purpose (perhaps this second paragraph is a combo of chiron and neptune).

yeah, this is the worst. it's sort of like putting someone up on a pedestal and then when it crashes down it is horrible, it just crushes me inside all the time. the good parts are many though - very creative, very girly and pretty, it brings dreams and inventiveness, and an optimism that seems to fall and then spring right back up each time. i have it conjunct my ASC, so i feel it's quite prominent in how people see me.

I actually understand how you feel. It's really tough for me too.

I wonder if you are experiencing the transit of Neptune in Pisces to your Sun? I am currently experiencing the square to my Sun and trine to my Moon.

This feeling of being in limbo started way back in 2012 and it was terrible. I really didn't enjoy it at all because I didn't get what was going on.

It's only when I started to think /immerse myself in spiritual reading and related materials that it started to wane.

Pluto is also opposing my Moon too so there is a lot of "soul searching" happening right now.

the idea of something being a mixed bag is mercury. Mercury is both the devil and angel.

So mostly, the conceptions of neptune above are speaking to the mercury of neptune.

I don't like it sometimes either. MErcury is a trickster.

But when neptune is accessed by spiritual means instead of simply rational logic it becomes the investor or artists best friend. It is the place where inspiration comes from and then crystalizes by our efforts into action.

The best thing for someone adverse to neptune is to stop all drugs...except for coffee. Exercise and tap into saturn because then your imagination will be rooted in sensory perceptions and you will expand and become the light of neptune rather than the darkness.

Our habbit formations are required to be purified by the trials of pluto. Once this happens we can access uranus to fulfill the vision of neptune.

Ask yourself what brings you peace. This is your purified version of neptune...

If you dream of being a rockstar who drinks and does drugs all day and can get away with anything you are being fooled. You are living in maya. This is done by the powers that be to keep one away from the power behind the viel.

If you want empowerement...then you should create a habbit structrure(saturn) which can channel the genius (uranus) you need to accomplish the dreams (neptune) you wish to materialize.

This is where everyuthing overlaps in the center.

The key to this is chiron.

That's all I can say.

neptune rules fluids and liquids, chemicals in general, drugs etc. Sometimes if you know the dose you can turn venom into antidote, metaphorically speaking of course. Same with Neptune imo.
And on a more physical plane, since we are more than 70% water, during certain neptune transits you can actually improve your health depending on natal chart. So yeah id say there are a lot of good stuff about neptune.

Neptune rules mental illnesses that involve delusional thinking, also drug addictions. A side of it is quite evil. Ask people who struggle with these problems.

Take, for example, someone with paranoid schizophrenia who happens to be criminally inclined, dangerous to people around him. He does something because of the disease and ends up in prison the rest of his life. Wouldn't you describe such a condition as being of the devil? I know it's not really because I consider the devil to be a human construct. I am just saying this outcome is an evil one for whomever experiences it all because of a disease. What if you had cancer and ended up in jail because of it? People would be appalled someone is jailed just because of that. In essence, this is exactly what happens to people with mental illnesses that cause them to commit crimes.

The 12th house also rules jails and institutions interestingly.

I've noticed a lot of Pisces and Virgo influenced people with some kind of delusional thhinking. Obsessive about something. It's not usually very bad but it's noticeable. It might be magical thinking. I will hold onto something forever because of an emotion attached to it. (Cancer moon) my Pisces sun boyfriend does this because he feels like if he doesn't hang onto it something will go wrong.

With Neptune I think addictions happen because the person believes they need it. I knew someone that felt he always had to have a low dose of Benadryl all the time. It did nothing to him. He didn't have allergies or anything he just said it made him feel better. I know physically taking the same low dose of Benadryl constantly for so long would do nothing to you but in his mind he believed it did something so he had to keep taking them. He was a Pisces sun and I'm pretty sure either his moon or Venus was Pisces.

On that note addictions can be stopped when you start to believe you don't need it anymore. That's the real power of Neptune.

I know someone with Moon conjunct Neptune who loves Benadryl and Nyquil, both, even got Benadryl injections at minor emergency clinic and could barely walk afterward.
