Ceridwen: Twin Peaks nightmares coming alive; this show definitely was a turning point in my life, and not necessarily to the best; first time I came to the realize, that yes, you CAN be traumatized by TV ---LOL, that was such an odd show but it was great. I also learned you can become traumatized by tv as a child. Do you remember the tv movie IT? I hate clowns now even though I realise it was such a cheesy movie. Stupid Tim Curry! IP: Logged |

I did watch this: 13. Beasts of the Southern Wild Amazing movie, beautiful little girl.
What aspects do you think would describe this one?: a hard life; living as an outcast you can say in the wild, good survival instincts, resilience. Saturn conjunct Chiron in the 2nd conjuncting ruler of the first-pluto with uranas in the 11th. or NN in scorpio in the first.. Looking forward to checking out the trailers at home later. That's a pretty complex explanation you wrote, I think that would probably be it don't forget about her optimism (which could also be attributed simply to her being a child), and an almost spiritual connection with the nature.. A touch of Neptune I'd say for the imagination as a source of escapism from this harsh Chiron-Saturn reality...I'd put Neptune then in 8H, making an opposition to the conjunction - viewing the tragedies and dark sides of life in a somewhat beautifully mysterious way... Loving the water - because of the water planet in the water house. NN in 1H would also be my guess - emphasizing the need to survive, Martian fierce primal energy. Other than that hmm, I don't know... Maybe Sun or Mars Conjunct Neptune - her father being an compassionate, but kind of a weak man - maybe a Gemini Sun in 8H - her being so crafty, very bright and with a surprising insight for such a small child. At least that's how I saw her and yes, agree on her being absolutely genius and charming. Let me know when/if you like some of the movies IP: Logged |

I loved your 5th. I need to rewatch it. The shawshank redemption is an excellent movie. Loooking forward to checking out the trailers for your choices bc I too have mercury in virgo in the 10th conjunct MC and forms a hard aspect to my moon as well. I am going to recommend you watch "the green mile" if you haven't, I think you will like for some reason: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120689/ IP: Logged |

Thanks for the tip, Amelia. I watched Green Mile this weekend and I really liked it. I think you'll like the other films on my list, especially 12 Angry Men, which has some of the most brilliant dialogues ever heard on screen.IP: Logged |

Love both of these movies. I can totally see how your love for Eternal Sunshine and Gilbert Grape relate to your Merc-Moon conjunction in Aquarius. I can actually see Clementine and Gilbert both having this aspect, or something similar to it, themselves. IP: Logged |

I saw "beginners" and enjoyed it. My favorite things about the movie was the dynamics with the dog, the vandalism, the humor behind his art work e.g. the history of sadness, and most importantly the old guy; his story and how he chose to live his life after his wife died. Strangely I was not that interested in the love story between the main character and the girl and found that to be the least interesting part of the movie although still cool.

oh, interesting question... but kind of difficult to answer.1. Moulin Rouge 2. Spirited Away 3. Casablanca 4. Ne Le Dis À Personne 5. My Sassy Girl On the other hand... I like "conspiracy" movies too lol, I really like the symbolism and the hidden meaning of them. Stanley Kubrick's movies, john carpenter's or Ridley Scott's, etc. Eyes Wide Shut, a clockwork orange, 2001: A space odyssey, They live(we sleep!) (God! that one was funny as hell ), Prometheus, big etc. ****************************************************************************************** My Mercury is in Gemini, ruler of 10th house and also in the 10th. But it's Rx and I have a love-hate relationship with that Mercury lol ------------------ ~Il n'est rien de réel que le rêve et l'amour~
