I can recommend:

The five people you meet in heaven

It makes you wonder and perhaps even ponder

Mercury in Aquarius with Mercury square Mars and Pluto.

It's really hard to pick five! I'll try and do it by categories...

1. Favorite Romantic movie:
Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken

2. Romantic Comedy:
Clueless

3. Suspense/Thriller
Wait I don't really like those

3. Sci-Fi
Return of the Jedi

4. Mystery
The Usual Suspects

5. Drama
Shawshank Redemption

--

5 Aqua Mercury
6 Sag Venus
6 Scorpio Uranus
11 Libra Pluto
0 Leo Saturn

Oh and I love the movie Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael. Sorry, that's like three teen movies out of six, and I'm 38. LOL

My favorite foreign film that I would watch is
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111507/

The poor guy is jilted by his wife and he gets one interesting revenge on her.

There are very few movies I really like, let alone love. I’ll still try to crack my head and find some however.
1. Pan’s Labyrinth.
That’s for now the only one I can say for sure that I like in its entirety. If I had to choose others I’d say maybe The Pianist. Though that one was good the first time I watched it, but would I enjoy it as much if I watched it again ?
This is making me think however, wouldn’t those choices of movies be more associated with my Venus (Aries, 8th) than my Mercury (Taurus, 9th) ? Which would make sense since Venus is related to arts, so... "What kind of art do you love ?"

Welcome to Lindaland!

Yes perhaps you are right and Venus would be a bigger influence in movie taste, potentially both play a role.

Umm... off the top of my head, in no particular order:

The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Fifth Element
Django Unchained
Devdas
Life of Brian

Mercury in Cancer 9th, conjunct Mars and Midheaven. Opposite Neptune, trine Pluto, sextile Moon, square Ascendant, square nodal axis, semi-square Venus... Rules 9th and 12th. In mutual reception with 12th house Virgo Moon.

Ehh... I have no idea if any of the above movies are explained by my Mercury. I like bizzare and aesthetically appealing, preferrably with a complicated and action-filled plot.

I can sense a good bit of Neptune in there, the surreal seems like a Neptunian thing. I also have a taste for the dark and gritty, which might be Pluto. Mars for action. No idea what sort of movies would be a 12th house Virgo Moon kind of thing, can't think of anything I like that would fit.

Most of it could just as easily be explained by my Venus. I have Venus in Taurus 8th. No major aspects, but it does connect to Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune, Ascendant etc. through minor aspect. There's no connection between Venus and Mars though, so my taste for action is more asily explained by my Mercury/mars conjunction...

I think the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is my favorite movie. Actually most David Fincher movies would be my top favorites because I really enjoy his dark aesthetic (Social Network, Gone Girl, Fight Club)...but then there’s another side of me, with the humor of a 12-year old boy. I will watch Step Brothers (Will Ferrell), every single time it’s on & still laugh my ass off. How embarrassing.

I have 9H Virgo Mercury:
Conjunct Mars
Semi-sextile Venus
Semi-sextile Uranus
Quintile Saturn
Quintile Neptune

8H Leo Venus:
Trine Chiron
Trine Asc
Semi-sextile Mars
Sextile Uranus

What We Do In the Shadows (the TV series is fantastic too)

My No.1 fav movie is Count of Monte Cristo 2002
Many of the lessons in this movie got stuck in my head

2. Batman movies by Christopher Nolan

3. Troy

Hmm.. can't think of more

Mercury conjunct Venus in Pisces
Mercury square Saturn
Mercury square Neptune

But mostly why I like these movies I think because of my Aries Sun conjunct NN and Scorpio Pluto.

It sure is. So are the other movies I listed...

And I'd also like to give an honorable mention to Nightmare Before Christmas. All the Henry Selick features are good (I liked Monkeybone as a kid lol).
