Sagittarius Moon.

I would say that I pretty much have done it all, tried it all. It's in the 11th and I guess I like to experiment. From ketogenic to raw vegan, liquid diet, soup diet, Paleo, South Beach, Dukan - you name it, I've been on it. I've been dieting my whole life AND I've had every eating disorder in the book (though binge was my most constant). I went to extremes, yes. I can eat a diet yogurt all day long or overeat like crazy. I did cooked food, now I don't cook at all (well, I boil an egg now and then). I eliminated a lot of foods, on occasion, from my diet - the bad ones, I mean. I am trying to eat healthier because Moon rules my 6th but I guess I haven't found what works for me just yet. I am currently on a low-carb diet and it is swell. Like Geeky, I tend to stick to a meal or food for weeks, only then do I get bored of it, but as long as I want it, it's the best out there even if it's pretty bland. But I do love trying new things and love foreign and exotic foods. I tend to eat salty and spicy quite a bit. I eat alone at home, mostly uncooked food, but I do take out cooked food now and then. I eat pretty fast and generally while doing something else at the same time.

Though I love my Sag Moon, when it comes to food I wished it would've crossed over to Cap (it's at 29) because this thing with eating has been a wild ride.

Currently my approach to food is: eat whenever you're hungry, whatever you feel like (from the healthy foods). Despite me thinking I need more discipline with food, I figured this lax approach works better and it's less stressful. I am not giving myself a hard time for tasting a small piece of cake or for having a second serving now and then, though on most days I don't eat all that much and I am not hungry either. I am trying to listen to my body instead of doing what I was told I should do. The one thing that I am disciplined about though is working out on most days, since daily is not possibly with my work. It evens out the occasional excesses. I also take supplements.

-Gemini Moon in the 11th House.
-Virgo in the 2nd House with the Sun in Virgo in the 2nd House in the 3rd Decan. Pallas and Vesta also in Virgo.
-6th House in Capricorn with Uranus and Neptune there (both also in the Virgo Decan). Also Hygiea there, trine my Sun (which has a natural affinity with the 6th House) - (also in the Virgo Decan).

I sometimes eat really fast, other times really slow. Most of the time I take my time though. I never rush, and try to enjoy myself. I generally eat much slower than the average person, though.

I am a very picky eater as well. I don't eat many kinds of foods. I eat a lot, but I eat the things I'm familiar with. I don't eat healthy, as I feel that I want to eat what tastes good and makes me happy. And I don't eat organic foods and all that other healthy stuff. I mean, I'll eat it if presented to me and if I like that particular food, sure, but I don't aim or focus on eating it is what I mean... I'm not anti-organic food, haha. I'm just trying to enjoy the only life I have, lol. So what if it kills time off my life, it's not like it will be a significant amount of time decreased. At least I'll enjoy every minute of it when it comes to what I eat.

Also I don't like to eat outside because I worry about insects going on my food because if it does, I don't want to eat it. Even if it goes on just a piece of the food, you would think I could just break that small piece off, right? Nope, I still won't eat it... I have OCD like that I guess, lol. Whenever there's a fly in the house, I have to constantly cover my food with my hand in fear of it landing on it because I will then not eat it if the fly does. And the worst part of it is, I don't like to kill insects (or any animal or living thing for that matter), so it's not like I will kill it if it's near me or my food, lol.

I am also wary of people breathing or spitting on my food if they talk to me while I eat, or especially if they're eating, geez. I have to keep covering my food or ask them not to look at me, lol. (which the latter I try not to do, as that is quite rude, lol). I also don't like leftovers. It doesn't taste as good and I am always thinking "Ew, now it's old." even though I agree that it's completely irrational to think that if I just ate it earlier or yesterday, so it's fine to eat now, lol. And I also have a phobia of eating meats I don't normally eat. It grosses me out for some reason, even though everyone else eats it just fine, and I eat other meats (chicken, beef and hot dogs), so how is this one any different? Lol. So although I eat "some" meats (I do mean some), the idea of knowing that I'm eating another animals bothers me very much, but I still eat it, because I am just so used to it and like it. My favorite meat and the one I eat most of the time when I eat meat is chicken.

So to sum this up... yeah, I am a difficult person to live with, lol.

I like some vegetables. I like broccoli, corn, peas, peppers, (and probably some other ones that I haven't thought of) Also potatoes, as that is a vegetable but also belongs to the grain food group, I believe. I like a lot of fruits. Probably most except pears. I hate them, lol. So I'm quite fruity, haha, jk. My Father was into fruits as well, so I probably inherited this taste from him. I'm into spicy foods, but I don't eat them a lot. My Father also liked spicy peppers and could eat it whole without a drink, I believe, so I probably inherited his taste for spicy foods as well. And for candy, I like sour candy like Sweet Tarts and Warheads. I mean, I also like chocolate, but I personally don't like to classify that as candy, but rather a snack. Oh, and I love bread! (yeah I know, it's terrible, lol).

I have a great digestive system and stomach. After I eat, I have to go to the bathroom very shortly after. I also hardly ever have stomach aches or cramps.

Virgo Sun (picky) in the 2nd House (throat)... I guess that's why I'm picky with what I put down my throat, haha.

Lol, sorry for talking so much about myself...
*leaves room*

Virgo Sun - "Leo Ascendant, control your'self-expression!"

Leo Ascendant - "Stop blaming everything on me! If it wasn't for Gemini Moon, I wouldn't have wanted to talk about myself so much. Oh, and nice word play there, you learned that from me."

Virgo Sun - "True. Sorry for blaming you all the time, Leo Ascendant. And ugh, yeah, I "sorta" did. It was from Mercury assisting you in that sextile aspect as well. So no need to brag about it and take all the credit. And Gemini Moon, shut up! Nobody cares!"

Gemini Moon - "Oh quit complaining Virgo Sun, geez! Let me have some fun for once without your critical butt always having something to say."

Lol, it's just with what I eat. I have only one Virgo friend and he eats what he wants and unhealthy foods as well (he even has Mercury in Virgo, unlike me). That "health-conscious" stereotype Virgos have is the only one I don't see in most other Virgos.

I think and act like a Virgo, though

I even have a very efficient digestive system. That's Virgoan.

And cool, I had/have a supreme Virgo status?

I'm a gem moon and I love trying new foods but try to eat healthy. I tend to have a good appetite but tend to eat quite slowly. I love food especially home cooked meals but I think that's my Cancer sun shining through. My boyfriend is a fantastic chef so I'm exposed to a lot of new tasty food.

I have a Virgo Moon in the 1st. Only Chiron in the 1st 10 degrees.

I love to eat. I cannot stand blandness, though; I need flavor! I most like spicy flavors and sweet things. I'll eat probably anything sweet or spicy.

I love to try new foods, and other cuisines.

Sometimes I'm always hungry, and sometimes I get full after a few bites. My digestive system is awfully ridiculous at times, so I like, try not to eat too many ribs or fried foods or something

But, I am pretty picky, too. If I don't like the smell, I won't eat it. It doesn't necessarily have to smell bad, it's just that the smell doesn't jive with me. I also have a thing about eating things shaped like body parts or people. When I was little, I flat out stopped eating the 'cartoon macaroni.' Y'know, the macaroni shaped like cartoon characters? Anyway, I just can't do it. Just doesn't seem right lol.

It also messes with my appetite if I'm sitting in close proximity to someone and they're talking while eating. Generally when someone is doing both at the same time, they end up spitting on me, without fail, which means they are probably spitting on my food too, so...no. Or if I hear excessively. loud. smacking and chewing. Sets me off every time. I'm sorry, but it just sounds so gross to me, I don't really want to hear (or see) food begin its journey of digestion. No thank you lol.

Oh yeah, I am like this, too. I forgot to add this, lol. I don't know how I forgot, hahaha.

Lol, but I am super picky with food like a Virgo and worry about my food getting contaminated.

Oh, when I was younger though, I used to hardly eat and my Mother had to give me vitamins because I wouldn't be hungry to eat food. That's kinda Virgoish.

"But that's when you were younger!"

Mercintellect? - "True. But geez, am I on trial for being accused of not being a Virgo because I don't eat healthy like a Virgo is supposed to do"?! Do you want to see the birth records or something!?"

Lol

It must have been the way I was raised though, as I was never limited to what I wanted to eat nor forced to eat healthier. I guess it just grew on me. Like I said in the other post, my only Virgo Sun friend (which also has a Virgo Mercury) doesn't only eat healthy foods either. He eats unhealthy, too. Lol. We're on XBL (Xbox Live) and he tells me he is getting offline to go to BK occasionally, and then I tell him to go back there and get me a Whopper (like an old BK commercial), haha.

Most of the Virgos I know eat what they want and don't care that they are eating unhealthy. I mean, they probably do care (I do, too), but choose to continue eating unhealthy (as I do) is what I mean. I say, if it makes me happy, go for it.

So like I always say - yes, the sign of Virgo itself is indeed like this astrologically, but it doesn't always manifest that way, due to other, outside factors. And I'm pretty sure living in the USA has a lot to do with not eating healthy like a Virgo, haha. My Aquarius Sun/Pisces Mercury friend is in Canada and makes sure he eats healthy, though. He watches what he eats. My Virgo Sun friend lives in the USA as well.

But hey, I may be a Virgo, but I ain't perfect, nor 100% "perfect"-ly like the sign of Virgo. So basically saying I can't be a Virgo or hardly like a Virgo because I don't possess one of the Virgo traits is absurd, don't you think? That's why we all have a chart filled with many different placements as well

Your supreme Virgo status is showing again because you just spent so much time analyzing something when I was merely being cheeky!

Of course other aspects and how we were raised influences us! I wasn't always a healthy eater ya know?! I am going to be 36 soon and my eating habits didn't turn 'good' until I was about 28-29 and they didn't get to being 'great' until I was about 33.

I was simply giving you crap.

Lol Merc intellect!! Your so adorable when you go virgo on us!!
I swear I wasn't accusing you of switching your birth records leaving a taurus somewhere out there wondering why they are so particular about food instead of gobbling it up and asking for more! Lol

You have proven your virgo!
I'm sorry I didn't mean to stress you out. I know how delicate those of us with virgo systems can be....ugh, we get out of whack so easily at times, I'm sorry if I upset you! You don't need to stress it, your all virgo and all good...

Moon in Aries.

I eat - what i hunt. Thus - my appetite is as big as my hunt. Though - definitely not "petite". I live in the city, so - there's not much diversity in terms of hunting. Usually just cats and dogs. And don't get me wrong - i don't hunt stray dogs and stray cats. -_- I mean, they spend most of their time in garbage cans and other unsanitary places... Would be quite foolish to hunt those - when there's plenty of vaccinated dogs and cats around. They have masters - that's true, but - that doesn't make the hunting any harder. It used to be hard - back in the old days, when their owners used to pay attention to their animals - even played with them. Was really hard to snatch their pet in those times - but not impossible. With enough practice - i became quite good at it. Well, that was then and this is now. This days - it's really easy - thanks to newer technologies like - "cellphones" - which capture all the attention of their owner, while their dog is squirreling around in the leash. Poor animals. I guess - I'm doing them a favor. They sure act like they miss them after they're gone - printing all kind of adds - with missing dogs and cats. Though, trust me on this one - they're not missing much. I mean, have you ever ate a Chihuahua? There's not much meat on their bones and not very tasty either (tastes like rat meat - i should know better, cause that's what i used to hunt when i was younger) - i give you that... It barely lasts for a day - and I have to go hunting again. It's same with cats. And those - would be the bad days. While the good days... well, sometimes - i get lucky enough to catch a Saint Bernard (maybe you've seen the movie: "Beethoven" - that's the one). A 150 Saint Bernard can last me for a whole week and if it's coked right, its meat - is simply delicious. MmmMmmM! Not many of those around. Unfortunately. Most of their owners seem to be foreigners. Other than that - in spring and summer time - i hunt a lot of birds, especially pigeons. The city is full of them - like the town square. But we also have a forest nearby - and sometimes i get lucky with some rare bird which... i don't even know its name. But. i am learning. Some get into birding for the trill of watching - I'm into it for the hunt.

So Moon in Aries of me... I know.

Virgo Moon conj. Chiron in H9
Venus conj. Jupiter
Uranus conj. Neptune in the 2nd
Uranus conj. Neptune opp. Cancer Mars in H8
Moon trine Neptune conj. Uranus

I've always struggled with disordered eating. I'm better than I used to be, but I still slip into old habits sometimes that can be detrimental to my health. I had full-blown anorexia nervosa from 15-16, and then on and off for the next 2 years. Like many Moon-Uranus and/or 2H Uranus people here, I can be very sporadic with my food intake. The Virgo makes me want to control my appetite, so I can see how this would play out. I tend to feel guilty or 'nervous' about eating too much or eating fattening foods. I have a tendency to try to exercise everything I eat off. When I'm not really thin, I'm not happy with myself. I'm currently in that state right now, so I'm doing my best to not eat processed foods very often.

I like natural and organic foods. I try to be as experimental as I am comfortable with when trying new foods. Foreign cuisine - Spanish, Greek, and especially Japanese foods of all kinds [sushi, miso, tofu, takoyaki, soba, etc.) - are favorites. I like trying exotic restaurants whenever I can. I try to see eating as a healthier process than I used to. It's something that should be enjoyed, but it should also provide nutrition and energy for the day. So, no matter how good something tastes to me now, if it can't provide any component of energy or useful nutrients, I avoid it entirely. My Venus-Jupiter conjunction makes me have a sweet tooth and a love of rich foods, which I do try to control.

My coworkers like to point out how healthy my "before shift" snacks are. I usually have a nice bag of carrots with some other fruits and veggies in there. I really love my fruits and veggies and, was actually a vegan/vegetarian for about 4 years. I like cooking meals that are substantial. I'm not a big fan of pasta and my favorite thing is sunny side up eggs with buttered white toast (obviously for dipping in the runny yolks). I love red meat and pork but don't go out of my way to eat it too frequently. I don't hate but don't care for chicken much.

I just always feel that I have to prove myself to people for clarification, whether it's a joke or not. It's just me, lol. Thank you both for replying, though

That's very Virgo of you!

I'm a Gemini Moon and I'm not huge on food to be honest.

My diet is quite strict because it's only made of vegetables, fruits, farm food, healthy yoghurts, water/juice, fish, eggs. I never eat carbs, I hate chocolate and sweets. The only carb I eat is fries, sometimes. I hate meat.

I'm a coffee addict however. Tea, not so much. I love bread and pastries though (tarts). I can't start the day with a croissant or strawberries/bananas. I also like oatmeal and cereals for breakfast. I can eat salads for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Same goes for cheese!

I tend to eat really slow but that's because I'm usually full after a bite or two.

My appetite depends on my mood though. When I'm stressed, I can't get anything down. When I'm happy, I gravitate towards tarts all the time!
