I'm stubborn about forgiveness. Most times I just don't, or if I do it's incomplete. There's always a little something in the background.

I'm Leo most of you know.
I blame my Virgo most of all and Pluto on asc from first.
The Leo could contribute also.

Sometimes I will think about it, like, "I should do X, Y, Z" but then I think, "Nah karma will take care of it for me" and then I let it go.

I do not forget though.

While I may put on a nonchalant act when face to face with someone who has wronged me, inside I am thinking, "I remember what you did and I don't trust you anymore."

Once my confidence in someone is gone, or if my respect for someone is gone, it's just gone. No one has been able to get that back from me.

But revenge? No. It's unnecessary. I feel I am always trying to move forward, not look back.

Although I do not have your placements I do react the same way. As I do make mistakes, I always need people, who can forgive me as well.

However, I have never sought revenge nor do I think for one second that it is worth it. In fact, the idea of revenge nauseates me. What kind of principles am I demonstrating myself if I respond to someone who hurt me in the same way or even worse just to watch them suffer? Forgiveness comes quite naturally to me, especially when I sense sincerity on the part of the person seeking it. Who am I to assume that I am higher or mightier than anyone? That I do not err and might never one day myself seek forgiveness? I always forgive. No matter what. Hurting back someone who hurt you is not balancing karma, it is worsening it.

It depends on what happened. I used to be very forgiving, but some lines shouldn't be crossed.

If people were less forgiving, the malicious, using, and self-serving people in the world might think again before their horrible actions.

If revenge could be formulated and therefore less time consuming, and be a definite outcome, without burning the self further, I'd probably be in.

Generally, I limp away without the strength, or the time, to figure out how to be at their level to give them back the medicine. I am definitely not like them and it's an enormous leap to fight on their territory and therefore where I would also be disadvantaged. I'd also run the risk of not finding the way back to myself.

Over time, I've instead learned discrimination and understanding of my boundaries, and how to exercise them. I trust my methods and my capacity to assess things like: malice, genuine error, sincerity, and the likelyhood of consecutive occurrence, as well as my own fortitude. Consequently, lines are not crossed very often.

I have a Libran Moon and fairly delicate placements overall so I'm not one to manage conflict happily. Having what Aries23Degrees has would be a nice balance to my chart and life, probably (Aries the opposite my Moon). Being the opposite, it sounds kind of like courage to me.

Looking back at the post, I realize how incredibly angry I was.🤔. I was in a different place. A hopeless place. That post was actually coinciding with when I discovered a betrayal from in house that devastated me.

Nevertheless, I do think it's important that one release negative energy. So if taking revenge makes you FEEL powerful instead of powerless. Then that is contextually ok.

But you will move on from that anger. Go past that point of wanting to "even things out" . This until you feel reconciled. It's part of taking care of yourself.I wouldn't advise anyone to be compliant if it cripples them emotionally or "take the high road". Get worked up about it and go ahead and validate how you feel.

Just so long as you manage yourself from turning into the anger you feel. This from a primal level. Then destroy ALL in your path. Including those you love. Because you are so consumed by anger you can't see straight ❤

I used to be very forgiving in the past because my Pisces Jupiter wanted to see the best in people and look past all the negatives. However, when people want to butter you up with flowery speech and all things nice and then throw you under the bus when things get sour, I find it hard to be forgiving.

I try to curb my anger and feelings a lot because my anger towards people can be intense and all-consuming. I try to take the high-road and not get revenge over petty things but I have and will ice people out of my life in an instant. I have this inner well that everything gets fossed into so if someone hurt me in some way I will remember it and never forget. Even though my Moon is in air it's in the 8th opposing Pluto, so I can be very intense in my anger towards others.

Aqua Sun, Merc, & Venus
Gem Moon
Scorpio ASC & Mars conjunct.

I give people the benefit of the doubts. But I need to remember because when I’m forgetting who people are. They proceed with backstabbing.
I know one Libra guy is writing all **** down so he can remember. First, I thought it was horrible.
Eventually, I’m getting over wrong doing. And I might get nostalgia and think to reconnect. I dislike my air for that.
I used to be forgiving. But people keep repeating the same **** . And it’s so hard to cut them off. So I try to put boundaries. And it’s coming to I’m not a friendly person because I need to say no and have distance. Otherwise, I need to cut off communication completely.
Some people are looking for somebody to take advantage of.

Librapurr, I know exactly that. So funny how he writes it down! Lol!

After a time - can be years - you realise it's been injury by paper cuts.

It's an accumulative sum of small offenses. One day you wake up and wonder how you are still engaging with this person. Upon reflection you find that it's because you forgave - and therefore also forgot - along the way. For the betterment of the relationship rapport.

And I'm not talking romance here actually, I'm talking about people generally: neighbours, friends, family.

I tend to bend for the bond of the relationship, and therfore too, the fabric of the community and also humanity! But somewhere along the line I seem to always find that I'm the only one doing that and I'm burned out and left with nothing.

I also have strong Aquarius, Pisces, Sag, placements. I can be a bit idealistic, LOL.

Aries23Degrees,

That point came through clearly in the first post because you expressed it really well.

Totally refreshing to find someone standing up for themselves based on the simplest principle of: an eye for an eye.

Arguably, it is the bottom line when it comes to your own capacity to survive in the small square feet of ground your feet tread on this earth.

The flip side to what they (Dalai Lama?) say about an eye for an eye leading to everyone becoming blind, again is - actually, people will think twice before attempting to mess with you. Therefor no one will be blind.

Reality is that, the world is full of a$$es who cannot be trusted or relied on for the most basic things. People will gossip and backstab, or cut you down when you are having success, they will lie about the smallest things, abandon you when you need them, and some will just make your life harder for the fun of it.

Sometimes, got to have access to your boundaries and a don't mess with me vibe. Because sometimes that primal energy is all stupid and/or rude people will understand.

I destroyed any diaries that I kept, but I used to write things down, over and over, just to remind myself that there was a reason I was feeling the way I was. In different situations. Every so often, I'll say it out loud, too. At least when it's about my sister. Or something that really ****** me up.

I was thinking yesterday, that even though I deal with bad social anxiety (being on social media makes me a glutton for punishment, I guess), that I'm always genuinely surprised when someone I know, is malicious. To me, or to anyone else.

I am wary, I can be too guarded, or too open, but when I expect it, it usually doesn't happen. I never really expect the MALICE. The intentional wounding. I think I might finally be past that.

Yeah, I’ve been there. What shocked me after making all cuts, people still act like I owe them something.

I joked that I had toxic marriages with my friends and co-workers. I don’t need to be in romantic Rs to have some weird rs drama with somebody lol
It was time when I stopped communicate almost completely because I felt like I was doing much to be left empty or used and abused.

First, I thought it was funny, but bad, he concentrated on all negative things to write it down. Later, I thought it might be smart.

I wanted to get a diary many times, but I worried somebody might find it or I might leave it somewhere by accident, and it would be the most inappropriate place for it.
When my emotions calm down, I could start to think that It wasn’t that bad or how I could change it.

I think Water elements are less forgiving. Fire forgets eventually, air tries to keep things civil, and earth just doesn't care ultimately, but water is such a psychologically complex element.

I have a water grand trine between mars, moon and pluto, and all of them are also in water houses (4th, 8th and 12th), and it is hard for me to forgive anyone who is not a family member or a friend.

Interesting! Just, not sure Earth doesn't care? But, maybe..
