I'm not sure. The Geminis I've known in life talk 'a mile a minute'. The Aries I've known actually speak more slow and deliberate with more power behind their voice (not really volume or loudness... maybe crispness?).

My voice also isn't always that raspy.. I just woke up from a nap not too long ago, so my voice is more blah and raspy than usual.

Mercury in Aries in the 12th
Moon in Gemini in the 1st

I think that my moon contributes more to my voice than my Mercury. I think Mercury contributes more to my way of speaking/communication.. I'm very brash, blunt and impulsive in thought and speech, often putting my foot in my mouth without ever meaning to. My actual voice changes frequently, depending on my mood, my surroundings, who I'm talking to and what I'm talking about. And if I've just woken up or not lol.

Aww, thank you so much! I love raspy voices, lucky you. I can sense the Gem moon in it, there's a subtle nervous/restless undertone to it, which is very Gem moon. Are you a Gem ASC? Aries Mercury would have a voice that sounds extremely assured, confident, and even comfortable with what they say even if it's total ******** . I hear the Gem a lot more than the Aries Mercury, perhaps because it's hidden away in your 12th house, it doesn't come off like that... Lovely voice!

What aspects do you have to your Mercury? You Sag folk always have such a perky optimistic tone to your voices! It's incredible! Thank you for joining in, the way you project your voice is very quiet/reserved sounding, living up to your Cap ASC but it isn't monotonous, flat, or dispassionate!

I know this doesn't quite relate but I think this may make people happy. Just as a side note to both PisceanDream and Geeky, I think my cat knows you somehow. She woke up and pawed at the computer when she heard both your voices.

I have Mercury in Aries, 11H (does house affect voice at all?) and it's conjunct Sun and Venus of course, sextile Mars, and my ASC, and square Saturn and Neptune in the 7H.

Natural singer and I get told I sound identical to my mom over the phone.

Love your message and what an Aries voice! That's what I was talking about a few posts ago about people with Aries Mercury. They always sound super confident and comfortable. They make everything so them! Definitely can hear the Aries in your voice. Your voice is very strong, bold. There's a lot of energy and authority there (sq Saturn sextile Mars). I can also imagine you must be extremely intimidating with your speech if you were angry. I can sense it. You also sound friendly though! I'd love to hear your singing voice. Post a clip if you're comfortable and I might just unwind and do the same.

it's kind of embarrassing how intimidating I can sound. I thiiiiink my Gemini ASC only helps me mimic my father's tone too, plus Mars conj. ASC. Oy. What's a GIRL to do, you know? I'm not supposed to sound that forceful!

Sure I'll post a singing clip!

Gemini Moon trine Mars and square Venus.

Awww you have one of those voices that's soothing (must be Mercury conj. Venus?) For whatever reason I can totally connect Mercury conj. Saturn in your tone - it's strong, but the Pisces influence maybe calms it down a little bit so you're not über serious - however when you were talking I kept seeing you talking to a group of people in front of a powerpoint, so I can DEF envision you being a public speaker of sorts.

There was a thread some time ago, in LLC2 I think, where there are some more knowflake voices. If I will find it, I will send you the link. Edit: nvmd, recordings are expired. lol

Meanwhile, this is me. In rushed Aries style, the "Hello" in the beginning is sadly silent.

Your voice is deeper than I would have expected, I guess Taurus Moon influence.

Yeah pluto actually trines it, hehe. The physical traits is where i recognize myself more in cancer but personality traits i can see parts of myself in both cancer and virgo.

Very clear and confident voice. Your speech is consistent and disciplined. Not a single "uh" or "uhm". Absolutely wonderful. There's a bit of a nervousness in your voice also but at the same time it's really calm and contained. Your speech isn't fast. You take your time to think about what you're gonna say and articulate it very systematically. I think that's owing to the Saturn which is trying to slow your voice down while the Mars square seems to quicken it. It's as though the squares to your mercury contribute to the tension. But I mainly here the Saturnine influence in your voice for sure.

Us Cap risers (Muddy, you and me) seem more soft spoken, despite the Fire Mercury. Quite monotonous too, I think. I noticed something in your recording, that I think I did too, towards the end you sounded more cheerful, as if you were relieved to get it over with

I love hearing you all!!!!

But OMG was I dead wrong when I was imagining how people sound

Dead wrong.

@PisceanDream...I think I sound a little bit like you, I wonder if anything of yours is conjunct my 18 Pisces moon?

I might record mine later, my throat is sore now and I don't want to blow my one chance to showcase my (boring, Mercury opposing Saturn) voice.

Can't wait to give you a listen! The closest thing to your moon would be my 9 degree Venus.

Definitely agree with that. I just heard your sound clip and again very strong (powerful even) and confident voice but also serious and calm. You also sound intimidating, competitive (conj Mars, opp Pluto). Very flat and straight to the point. I love how almost everyone that spoke was a Fire Mercury! What's up with that??? Clearly the most confident communicators. I can hear the
