Gemini Rising at 19.56 degrees.Born to very young teen parents who didn't want children and felt very restricted and disgruntled about their new station in life. Cancer moon in the second trine to Neptune in Sag - maternal grandmother becomes 'adoptive' mother, along with her grandfather 'adoptive' father. Born two to four weeks early and was very small at birth. Around five or six pounds and under twenty inches long. Now stands over six feet tall. Technically the oldest child in the birth family. Recently, after years of being scapegoated, the birth family storms out of my life and now the oldest is dead to them. Adoptive parents died in the 90s. Now a proud orphan. Maybe what happened puts me on the path of my Aquarian north node in the tenth. From what I have read sometimes a Gemini rising is the orphan of the family. In my own family, that I created, I am the leader and organized one that runs everything. I am the one who connects with community resources cause my girls are special needs. My spouse is a Libra rising and is very much like that. IP: Logged |

I don't know hey. Because later, when i was 11,I was involved in a car accident that left me feeling dazed and confused. There were about 15 children in transit at the time, and i was the only one severely affected by it(just my luck with natal Uranus in 8th). I had so many weird dreams in hospital. So vivid.Spent about a month but barely remember the ordeal or the dreams. It was also a "near death" experience. During my teens, when everyone else my age thought poems were for nerds and geeks,I became very fascinated with death. I used to love old English poems where someone speaks of death or those that had a sad ending i.e "Death be not proud","Do not go gently unto that good night" etc. To this day,i really adore melancholic music/movies.It really must be my Venus in Scorpio-Saturn conjunct. I have a high appreciation(Venus)for all things sad and moody(Saturn). Just reading this makes me tear up.Its an excerpt from Matthew Arnold (1822–1888), British poet. Sophocles long ago Heard it on the Ægean, and it brought Into his mind the turbid ebb and flow Of human misery; we Find also in the sound a thought, Hearing it by this distant northern sea. The Sea of Faith Was once, too, at the full, and round earth’s shore Lay like the folds of a bright girdle furled. But now I only hear Its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar, Retreating, to the breath Of the night-wind, down the vast edges drear And naked shingles of the world. The title is Dover Beach and I just think its so stunning! [QUOTE]Originally posted by Faith: I was accident-prone until I was about five: two concussions, multiple stitches, took my brother's prescription drugs and had to have my stomach pumped.[/QOUTE] Geesh!! ^ Yes, good guess! I have Jupiter in Aries, it's supposedly my dominant planet. (Jupiter exactly sextile its dispostor, Mars.) And my progressed moon was in Aries when I was 1-4 years old. Were you in the hospital for a full month? What were your transits then? (Not to be nosey, but I'm curious if you have the data handy.) I also love morbid poetry, morbid stuff within limits. (8H moon/Scorpio NN.) 'Just spent 45 minutes reading though this site earlier today: http://lostallhope.com/ I haven't lost hope, I'm naturally optimistic (Jupiter trine Neptune) but I'm also curious to hear what it's like to lose hope...and for whatever reason, reading a meticulous list of suicide methods and their efficacy, pros and cons, fascinates me. I was a very wanted child in the beginning. My parents wanted to have me for a long time... when they finally got me, only 3 years after they separated.. I always had a very small family and I was the youngest child. I dont have any full-blood brothers, but 2 half-blood. Both of them are kind of complex and have their own problems, but 1 of my brothers died from suicide last year... so the family on my mothers side is very devastated these days. There was never that much focus on me... I guess my brothers needed it more. I am suspected to be very independant, and I was never a spoiled child either. But somehow I always needed their help anyways especially my mother. We had a very close relationship for many years, were we talked a lot. But my mother got a serious illness, and then there was my brother who took a lot of her energy until the day he died. I have actually felt a bit overseen through my childhood and teenager years... like there was never really room for me anywhere. Some years I felt very lost as a child/teenager, and not at home anywhere. These days I take care of my own problems and my own life, and I dont talk much with my family at all anymore. We have minimum contact, and I never really call even my mother anymore, nor my dad or my other brother. It's not that I dont want to, but we just had so much drama that I cant really take anymore. I'm not sure what my role is, maybe the invisible one? Or the rebel? At least the kind of child who isn't really there and not calling I'm a cancer ascendant by the way...

I'm Taurus rising. I'm the eldest, but everyone sees me as the boring old homebody. Isn't that usually Virgo (in a way like Vesta/Hestia)?------------------ I call the planets by their Greek names. Now please stop asking which asteroids I'm using? ^-^' -La Sorcière du Temps IP: Logged |

I must admit that I tend to overlook the progressed chart sometimes.Don't quite know when it fits in really. But I see that in my progressed chart, my progressed Moon in Leo was square natal Pluto(exact)when I was deathly ill.Hmmm quote: Originally posted by Faith: Were you in the hospital for a full month? When I was in hospital, the one thing that just jumps right at me is my very active natal cardinal T-square-Moon Mercury, Mars that was being affected by the transiting conjunction of Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn. Add to that,my progressed Mars was also in on that action. Whilst progressed Venus(ruler of 1st) was conjunct transiting Pluto in Scorpio. quote: Originally posted by Faith: I haven't lost hope, I'm naturally optimistic (Jupiter trine Neptune) but I'm also curious to hear what it's like to lose hope...and for whatever reason, reading a meticulous list of suicide methods and their efficacy, pros and cons, fascinates me.
I also have the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction(orb of 5).But I don't think that I am as optimistic as I used to be. IP: Logged |

I'm scorpio asc but it's in late degree, so my first house cusp also fall to Sagittarius. I'm the youngest child and the only girl, so I'm pretty much the baby of the family. My brothers are much older than me and they're very protective. I I was sickly child. I think I spent more times in hospital than in my my home it was lonely childhood. I remember that my mother crying a lot those times. She told me that even the doctors said that I might not survive. Funny thing is now in your adulthood, I rarely get sick, beside the occasional cold. IP: Logged |

First house sign in the sign of your ascendant/rising sign. I don't have planet in the first house either. Even with empty first house you still have some trait of your ascendant What your asc sign? IP: Logged |

I used to have my Pisces moon brother's birth time, but I've forgotten it, and I've never known the rest of their ASCs. (If I mention their moon signs, it's only because I checked to see that the moon was in one sign that whole day. With my Sag moon-Mars brother, I knew he was born around lunchtime.) So I guess I can't answer your question. I do know there are differences with how I perceive my brothers versus how they perceive themselves but can't frame the answer in ASC terms. I just know that I was not the star. Leo can mean other things, though, and maybe that's what I represented (?) Loyalty almost to the point of masochism, loving to play games, creativity. I was always up for a good time and adventure, even in the middle of the night, even if there was a risk of bodily harm or getting in trouble. Nothing was more depressing than coming home from school and seeing my siblings lined up on the couch, watching MTV. I seriously hated anything boring. IP: Logged |

For me there's always something that fits amazingly well. Your examples demonstrate that, too quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: But I see that in my progressed chart, my progressed Moon in Leo was square natal Pluto(exact)when I was deathly ill.Hmmm
Yikes! Right, and my progressed moon, when it was in Aries, opposed Pluto...that's when I was flirting with death a bit around age 3. quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: I also have the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction(orb of 5).But I don't think that I am as optimistic as I used to be.

waves at ungumuda, hi I just found out that I do not have a planet in the 1st House. But Cancer is on my 1st House Cusp.I also don't have a planet in 7th House. But Capricorn is on my 7th House Cusp. Do you have 7th House ungumuda? and What does Cusp mean? To those that say if you have empty 7th House, you won't get married. I don't know how true is that, but I can tell you, I have an empty 7 house, and I have no trouble finding love. I have a long term relationship, and I am the one that dump the guy after the proposal, and even till now he hates me, we can't even say Hi to each others, lol. And now a guy in my neighborhood has been chasing me since June, and he still have not give up. And I do get alot of flirting when I go out, from men in my age group to pervert old men. I don't know when I'm going to get married though, thanks to my Aquarius Venus, I probably avoid getting married, so I can have the detatch and aloof to feed my Aqua Venus, lol. Heard that if this life you have empty house, those empty houses you already accomplished in your last life. Now you just concentrate on the houses you have in this life. Maybe this is true, because I don't view marrige is important. Love and sex are also not important to me. I rather not have any, I like to be independent, both financially and emotionally. That is how I been all my life though, I Never depend on anyone for financial, and I always avoid emotional attatchment. This probably explain why I have empty 7th house. ungumuda, my Aquarius venus is indeed powerful, you have that? what is your Venus? thinking back I'm still surprise that I don't have any emotional attatchment to my long term Ex-BF whom I dated since we were in college (4 years for his Bachelor degree) up to his (2 years Master degree). I feel it was a burden for me, where I cook and clean so all he needs to do is concentrate on his study. Do I love him? Nope. Scary how Aquarius Venus can be, lol IP: Logged |

To sum up some responses we have here:Taurus: abundant, stable home; homebody/practical, the one that receives family's "investment" Gem: born early, the "young" one Cancer Asc: the one who need to be taken care of, Leo Asc: birth received lots of attention; the happy one Virgo: the one who is constantly working, or never good enough; birth when people are distressed; the one who is always put-together Scorpio: conception in controlling/manipulative circumstances Do you scorp rising have strong relationship with your grandmom? Cap rising: expected to be the capable one, delay in birth, hard birth (maybe C-section falls into this); Aqua: the odd one out; similar to leo - receives attention Aspect to ASC: It seems that Pluto and Saturn hard aspect give delayed birth and childhood with health issues IP: Logged |

Well, its actually Uranus-South node-Jupiter-Sun Neptune conjunct in 8th. Like a train. I think it plays out with me having to apply brakes constantly. I can get so "taken in" and start to assume "otherworldly" things at play in situations that bombard the mind. Perhaps I foster a longing to unite with a supreme being; Alien, God, Unknown intelligence . I don't know . But I am so quick to attribute "amazing" things to outside earth life. Outside humanity and outside the bounds of flesh etc. i.e My friend was explaining to me a situation in his life where he could only explain that it was "faith" that got him through it: He also has Sun-Jupiter conjunct but in Taurus -so he will NOT be moved. He was owing his Varsity 30 000 and couldn't pay it off.It stressed him constantly and being a person who believes in prayer, he decided to just "leave it to God". Later that month- and this is his testimony. There was 0 balance in his account. He didn't owe the varsity any monies. All of a Sunday!!!! After the revelation,I immediately started to ponder the question of "belief" and the presence of the unexplained. But then,I wanted to apply reason(Mercury in Capricorn) and realized that there is a probability that the Accounts department may have mixed up his statement with another student's. That can happen and does. Perhaps his account got "lost" in the cracks and could not be found on the system? Virus complaints are not uncommon in some administrative departments-due to old systems and outdated protection software. Or the varsity, in the interest of starting off the financial year on a clean slate, decided to write off unplayable debts from students. And his was part of the list(maybe accidentally)? All of this could be the law of nature, gravity,co-incidence and perfect timing. Not an act of "divinity" that my Jupiter-Neptune in Sag would automatically lean toward. But good luck explaining that part to him. He just won't buy it.And such is the Sun-Jupiter effect. So yeah,i have to constantly apply brakes and not be gullible and taken in by things that defy logic. Consider a practical solution ALWAYS. Try to see things as part of life instead of LARGER than life(a classic Jup-Neptune conjunct effect). Jupiter/Neptune tend to cloud/exaggerate things a lot. IP: Logged |
