In your opinion
What astrological things in a natal chart would be responsible for someone being calm when things are, or might "hit the fan".

Not just in physically dangerous situations. Those, yes, but also just not worried if things erupt socially. (Like not worried about a ruined reputation or the breakdown of relationships with people)

Just a person who may not sweat the big stuff.
Hope I make sense.

LOL, yepp makes sense.

Fearlessness is something I'd associate with a functioning Pluto and a prominent Mars. Calmness is a very Earthy trait, even Saturnine in some ways. Probably strong Mercury too, being able to be as rational and as control of your mind as possible. Any specific crisis you'd like to share or is it just a general question?

LMAO!!!
You would ask!

I honestly just meant generally. Some I just can't share.
I have a small one from the other day though. LOL
I've been a good boy driving for like two years almost. But the other day...I slipped up. Well. I went around this guy rather, aggressively let's just say. I had a passenger in the back. I hit some sand and slid. I never flinched and in fact checked my mirror to look at the passenger in the back in the middle of the slide like, "You aight? I got this"

I really did mean generally though.
But I thought you'd personally enjoy that one.

WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!!?!!?

LOLLLL! Is that 12th house jargon for: "I'm a really bad driver and don't know what I'm doing?!" And of course I would ask. I like to pick people's souls.

Anyway, derailing. This is a serious problem.

A fun problem!

No accidents in years of driving!
Getting ready to terrorize the roads now. Hence the short post.

Well, someone needs to take your thread seriously and if it ain't you (and a little bit of me) then... It's me and my Saturn. SOOOO! Au revoir! Drive safe next time.

*raises hand*

I know the answer too!!

I'm a Cappy moon and I'm dead inside!!

I don't scare easy !!'

Ok joking aside this aspect has really helped me in all my crisis. It makes up for my sheer lack of ability to console people and not feel awkward. I use it to do the work while a cancer moons makes everyone feel better

I also value my Mars in Aries for being quick in the moment (though I hate the utter lack of follow through sometimes)

I know exactly what you mean im very similar in that aspect thats why i want to be a police officer idk i just have this primal instinct to "act" and stay calm and focused whenever something goes down

I have a similar story to yours i was on the highway going about 60mph with a loaded car 4 people including myself and a construction worker merged out from the shoulder side of the road very quickly just took off without looking! I turned my wheel to the left i have a little sports car its a 2 door coupe weights about 2700 lbs and me turnin the wheel caused the car to spin out on the highway like CRAZY! I literally did like 4 360s and the whole time i was calmly controlling the wheel and car and was able to stop the car right before we almost crashed into a bunch of trees little to say my passengers were going crazy and they were just like wow how are you so calm we almost died

Idk i just have this little switch inside that goes on if i feel like im in a crisis its like my "survival mode " haha i think its your pluto conjunct your ascendant the only other person i know who is calm in crisis is my dad he got in to a 1 on 1 shootout and he has pluto square his ascendant and moon square pluto its funny me and him are very similar when something goes down i also think a prominent saturn or capricorn moon placements help keep you strong and grounded as well

@Supreme cT, Wow! You guys do have a similar story! That's so random!

But seriously... Good that you saved yourself from what could have been a nasty accident just by maintaining firm composure.

Well, let's see... What aspects do *you* have that you'd attribute to your calmness in dire situations? I can be mentally afraid/freaked out but externally very calm and relaxed. I think well under pressure in general. And know very well how to tune out my emotions when it's necessary. I'd hand that to my tight 1st house Saturn conjunctions.

Also, your dad! Talk about fearless! You have a bunch of Scorpio, right?

Under mars-uranus stephen arroyo says these people do well in crisis and often seek them out, that he wonders if they fought in battles in previous life's because of that tendency. As to anything less to do with physical danger, maybe even to do with that too I think of Aquarius moon.

Was any transit happening at the time?

@pisceandream-thanks im happy it ended positively too nd heres my chart

I think my mars trine pluto/Moon square pluto/pluto conjunct MC/saturn in 1st house gives me a certain fearlessness i dont mean it in a cocky way but in a way that if i knew i was under pressure or in a crisis i could handle it and survive

@Supreme cT, I definitely see it in your chart. Well, that's awesome! Doesn't seem so far fetched that you'd be in law enforcement, seeing as you have a fitting chart for it. I'm also an Aqua ASC! Interesting Moon in the 1st!

Maybe....?

I look calm on the outside, but scream internally when things get really stressful. Speaking of crisis, not everyday stress.

Saturn energy
Cap stellium
Sun square Pluto
Taurus Mars (slow as shi.t to react)
Moon trine Saturn (very necessary for a Pisces moon)
Mars trine Saturn

i think that in a potential crisis the first thing u have to do is to get detached from your emotions..emotions usually cloud the judgement and make you lose control..for staying calm and try to build a good strategy in the next stage you need to get out of yourself and see things clearly..
so i would bet on aquarius moon,moon-uranus positive aspects(mars-uranus positive aspects for building a good strategy-for the response stage of the crisis)..also libra moon, personal planets in aquarius and libra sign..
i think many politicians are heavy aquarius or libra

@Supreme cT

You're welcome!

Well, go for the job! You seem both passionate and well-equipped for it. Yepp, Aqua ASC with Mars in the 1st. I also have a nice big Pisces stellium in the 1st too (Sun conjunct Venus included *wink*)

I think it's interesting simply because most of the people I've been closest with are Aqua Moons falling in my 1st house. However, I'm not sure with all of the Aquarian emotional coolness and tendency to rationalize matters of the heart, how it would play out in such a "wear my heart on my sleeve placement" (Moon in the 1st). Are your Aquarian emotional tendencies more apparent or does it give your emotions a flare and passion and transparency that would generally seem far too evocative for the typical interpretation of an Aqua Moon?

@Bella Bellita Why are you TRIPPIN' ALREADY? Be cool... We got this.

WOW you have a nice PACKED 1st house haha yes your Correct im FAR from the average emotional coolness aquarius moon i know they say most aquas dont show much emotion in "public" i know we feel, But for me im a very upfront person my emotions get flared up a lot and i come across as passionate and loud lmao

i think thats because of my sagittarius mercury i LOVE to laugh people always call me "shot out" i have an obnoxius loud laugh and like to show my real feelings in everything that i do its kind of a pain because if im sad or down everyone notices and annoys me asking me whats wrong, aqua moon in the 1st is modified a lot in my opinion because im good friends with an aquarius moon who i knew since i was like 4 years old and hes like the complete opposite of me in how he expresses his emotions he always shakes his head at me hahaa hes very self contained even how he laughs and pretty much every expression is very cool and chilled out BUT we get along great and have the same viewpoints just i express the energy differently
