Now i hear that Sagittarians are famous for casual sex and one night stands. Now is that only with the Sun signs or when the sexual planets (venus,mars) are in Sagittarius? Any Sag's here can verify this? lol IP: Logged |

My dad is a Sagittarius sun and Sagittarius rising. He is like this. He likes to think of himself as a player who dates a lot of women. He is wanting to settle down but he hasn't been able to maintain anything serious. Other Sagittarius rising people I know, while not promiscuous, like to date casually cause they don't want to be tied down. I have a Sagittarius moon and I like the idea of dating casually, but it's never happened for me. I think because of my Venus opposite Pluto aspect I attract the more serious, obsessive types, so when I try to have a casual relationship the other person can't keep it lighthearted. I have a sag sun/merc/nep stellium....i even have a gemini mars. I either want it all or nothing. I can go forever and not be in a relationship or have sex with anyone.

I feel like a high majority of mars in sagittarius people i know are one night standers anD it makes sense mars is more about sexual expression BUT im a venus in sag and i honestly wish i was capable of being a player lmao and what i mean by that is that i can get sex easily and i love to flirt and get to the point of sex BUT im a mars in cancer and i just CANNOT have sex with a person until i get more attached to them its so wierd haha my venus in sag "wants" sexual freedom with no strings attached but my mars in cancer wants "security"! I really hate my mars in cancer lmao but than again im highly plutonian and very sexual BUT very selective of who i actually have sex with. I wish i had a water or earth venus to match with my sun and mars because my venus in sag needs conflict with my sun/mars needsIP: Logged |

Interesting! You say your highly plutonian. Are you a scorpio moon or do you have any moon/venus/mars - pluto aspects?

Im a scorpio sun,mars trine pluto pretty much exact and moon square pluto, my pluto is in scorpio and my midheaven is in scorpio conjunct pluto, so basically my sun/moon/mars/midheaven has scorpio/pluto influence it CONFLICTS with my venus in sag so much hahahaa IP: Logged |

They just keep talking about it... on and on... like a broken record.
Either they don't know whether they should have sex, or whether they did the right thing by having sex or whether they want to have more sex...or they are proud of how much sex they're having.
Expect to hear their entire (drunken) life philosophy on sex before you ever even have sex, if you ever do - that is

LOL. I have a Scorpio Venus (conj ASC) & Libra Mars in the 12. So I don't talk about my sex or love life. In fact, I read this thread earlier and decided not to answer. But I found Odette's post funny.  Other than that I'm a 4xSag. Sun, moon, merc, Nept. I can have a one night stand if I'm single and feeling like it. I have no hang ups about that at all. I mostly enjoy them for what they are. Just some fun. However, I don't particularly like that because I want something much deeper. For example, I can't do the "friends with benefits" thing. We are either friends or something deeper (in which case I've never have any interest in anyone else when in a relationship, never cheat, etc) or we have sex once or twice and never see each other again. I don't mix sex with friends and I don't keep dating someone if it's just a sex thing/not going anywhere. Does that make sense?

Hmmm....i wonder if those "Sag" feelings are mainly from your Sag moon? I get the feeling it is. I wonder if someone has a Sag sun, what if their personal planets, including their sexual planets (venus,mars), still make them accept the casual flings or one night stands? IP: Logged |

I am a Sag moon/mercury in 2nd houseI do enjoy casual sex and have had both that and one night stands. I can separate love and sex, but cannot separate intimacy and sex. I like to share that intimacy with people but it does not mean I have to be IN LOVE with and committed to them. I actually prefer being single and having "casual" sex with good friends. IP: Logged |

I was "talking" to an Aquarius with Pisces Venus and Sag Mars. He straight out asked me "how do you want me? Don't be shy. Do you want to be f*ck buddies?" Any time I told him that I wasn't that person, I would like to build a foundation/get to know each other better, etc.. he would say he respects it but he never stopped. Just consistently brought up sex and how much he couldn't wait until we were intimate. When I finally asked him if he liked me or just wanted sex, he said, "I don't know." I have a 5H Sag stellium (includes Mars) and it's possible...I did go through an experimental phase. However, from what I can see I'm actually be more trusted not to cheat than so many going on and on about the importance of monogamy, faithfulness, and how they need love with sex.Yet my BFF in school had an almost identical chart to me with less Sag (and I expect different houses) who was far more promiscuous. (Rumors had me just as promiscuous but the rumors were false...OTOH I just shrugged them off and kind of found them funny, though the constant male attention was annoying, but then guys who knew the truth about me helped prevent a lot of it.) One Sag guy I know of as a kid could have one night stands but he seemed less concerned about it than many other males his age. My dad refuses to marry ever again, but he's more the sugar daddy type than player, treating it like a business deal, and love has nothing to do with it, it's simply a long term prostitution gig. I don't know his chart (other than he's a Sag sun) but I swear (for this and other reasons) that he must have some powerful Cappie energy to his chart (and I suspect a Scorpio mercury). Though knowing what Mom is like I can't say I blame him (though I suspect he may have even loved Mom back when he married her, but even if I'm right he'd never admit that today). I know a Sag woman that went through a phase but in the end she decided it wasn't worth it and would rather have her freedom and be left alone than constant attempts to turn her into a booty call. I once knew an older Capricorn sun with venus in Sagittarius and mars in scorpio. He told me stories (Sag loves to share a good story, I should know with moon in Sag) of his sex adventures in bars and landing girls. Some of them were really weird hookups and quite colorful... During the time I've known him, he had one night stands with at least 5 girls, including an ex he would always go back to for some reason, despite complaining about her constantly. For all I know he could just be blowing hot air (another Sag thing), but I did notice that he had a pattern of cycling through online relationships with people we both knew somewhat, in our online community. I however am somewhat resistant to the idea of casual sex and booty calls. I COULD do it, but I'm guaranteed to leave with an empty feeling afterward. IP: Logged |

As a Sag I think i am more promiscuous in my dreams than in real life  I have a lot of infatuation and/or sexual planets i.e;
Libra/Scorpio on Venus/Mars,
Pluto in Scorpio,Eros in Libra conjunct Mars
Eros conjunct Pluto,
Juno in Aries opposite Mars in Libra
Juno opposite Pluto in Scorpio,
Asc in Taurus and Chiron in Taurus.
Sag Sun conjunct Jupiter in Sag
8th house stellium-Sun,Jupiter,Uranus and Nep But its that damn Saturn in Scorpio conjunct Venus that tends to attach guilt feelings to spreading myself thin. I really can't. Also my Moon in Cancer conflicts with all this "free wheeling and dealing" etc. I feel like I can easily confuse good sex with love. And it is important for one who sleeps around to be able to make that distinction.

Absolutely not. I think it has more to do with MARS than the SUN. How we feel about it is attached to VENUS.Sag SUN

Cap MARS So for me, my Cap MARS is not easily excitable or prone to roving, and my Sco VENUS is all-or-nothing about it. I have zero interest in casual flings or one-night stands. I don't casual date, either. Only serious relationships, for me. I have an 8H stellium too, so it's definitely not because I have no interest in sexual relations.  I just have to be strongly invested. In interpersonal relations, my Sag SUN exercises charm to break the formalities, while my Lib MOON is weighing pros and cons in the background - "good prospect or not, worth investing my time and energy in or a waste of effort?". This applies across the board, with every new person I meet, male or female, so I don't think the SUN/MOON has anything to do with promiscuity. I have a good friend who is also Sag SUN, who remained a virgin until meeting her (then future) husband. She also has Cap MARS and Sco VENUS. Cancer MOON. IP: Logged |

I have a Sag Moon & I have had my share of well-planned one night stands. "Well-planned"... you may be wondering how. I have an earthy Virgo Sun, so I am not careless with my health (physical and mental). These were people I knew fairly well, although I wouldn't call them friends. We flirted for months before I ever made the move on them (I was the sexual aggressor in each occasion). I also do not drink alcohol, so I wasn't drunk. I always carried plenty of condoms, etc. Very safe. I am a BIG TIME flirt. BIG TIME. I actually had a friend tell me to stop because it was leading him on (which made me sad because I didn't want him to think I was out to hurt him). I'm just playful and sex positive. I am married to a monogamous man, so flirting is where it ends for me these days. But boy do I love the hunt, the chase, the kill. I've never done drugs, but I can't imagine a drug on the planet being better than sex with a new person.
