Topic: Is there any love at all for Virgo women?

Everywhere I've read, Virgo women get a lot of hate. Most times, from what I can see, if you ask someone on here which signs they hate the most, Virgo is always in there. Virgo men are always portrayed as classy and cool, and so many girls on here seem to like them. Virgo women are always called "nit picky", "bitchy" and various other names. I feel like we're severely misunderstood. I'm a shy individual who doesn't usually show my true self.. I guess it affects my self-esteem to see that so many people on here dislike Virgo women. So, what do you think?

I don't know how others really think about me. I have Virgo Sun/Venus/Lilith/ASC//NN all conjunct together. My Virgo Saturn is in 1st house too, but not conjunct them. But I am considered easy-going and caring. But I don't get well with those fake people. Because of Pisces DSC, opposite my Sun/Venus/NN, I do have problems in relationships. Some people are big liars, sometimes I acted a saver.... Currently has Neptune transitting my 7th house. So all relationship don't work out. I am told I have to find out my ego and develop myself in this life.So I don't expect much fortune to happen to my love life...

Also from your placements, you have a 8th stellium, which is similar Pluto,which wants deep feelings and easily get jealous. Even I have a Scorpio Moon, but it is conjunct Uranus in 3rd house, I am not very obsessive as typical Scoripians because of this placement.IP: Logged |

Selena...I love virgos!! 
I have a virgo moon, so I love you guys! My 2 very best friends were virgos. Both quiet and shy but a powerhouse in sincerity and willingness to be there for you.
I love that I could always trust my virgo friends, they give it to you straight but then feel bad if what they say hurts a little.
Yes, they are picky but that's only because they want the best for the people around them. I think if you come to understand virgos pickiness as they see it, you come to see how much they are actually showing their love for you.
Maybe they are misunderstood?
I know they tend to blend in because they don't need to stand out, they shine in quiet way...not like some loud mouth saggy or flirty libra, they shine just as brightly in a different way. You guys are brilliant and caring, you carry on meaningful conversations about things that genuinely matter!Virgos need to be the helper, doing the mundane boring tedious things in life(they rule the 6th house)
But without someone doing these things, who would have a foundation to build ANYTHING on?
You guys are the structure of life, you see all the things we miss.
I'm sorry you don't get more appreciation for the amazing things you do, you also don't demand or force others to appreciate you the way a leo would.
You won't intimidate or manipulate someone into giving in and doing things their way the way a scorpio or aries might.
Your not going to smother anyone or be passive aggressive to get your way like a cancer or pisces.
You won't act indifferent or bully someone the way an aqua or taurus can.....you guys genuinely don't have a defense mechanism to ensure you get your needs met, and that's tough!
You guys rely on others seeing what you do and how it benefits them and appreciating you for it. But so many ppl don't stop long enough to see it. That's not your fault, it's there's.
You guys have so many wonderful traits that should be praised...your just to humble to boast about them and to quiet make sure others hear about all the good you do.
You guys kind of accept the seconds others chose to throw away...but that's just because you don't want to waste anything and you see the value in things others miss.
Personally....I think you guys are one of the best signs there is because your real!
You don't need others to constantly pick you up, your quietly strong on your own. You don't need others to rescue you, you are the one who's always helping them. You guys are strong in a very quiet unassuming way and the work you do is absolutely necessary, even if others forget to tell you and appreciate you....you are appreciated and loved!

Virgo always gets flak in a society that sees self sacrifice and service as a weakness, and someone correcting your errors as an annoyance or insult. It doesn't help when her efforts to improve others get overlooked or she gets taken advantage of. In some ways, Virgo is just like Pisces with being an emotional sponge, taking in all that negativity and feeling bad for acting out its nature. That's why it really, really helps to get some kind of appreciation from the people she helps, because it sort of validates existence for some of us.I also think the males catch a lot of negativity, because people often mistake their outward appearances as coldness or being an uptight snob. I made this mistake a few times, and the guys I've met turned out to be really nice and helpful when you give them the time of day. Virgo asc here and I always pick up dislike from women. Usually I am very well received by men and I think it's because I am laid back and have a lot more in common with men. I don't know if women see this as a threat or if because I am shy and quiet they perceive it as I'm calculating in my head, judging.

I love my Virgo nieces , they are so funny , kind , considerate ( Vicky bought me a valentine card when she was 4 and I was single then!!!!! ) and awesome discipline ( Vicky is 12 now a black belt and she is so strict ) it puts peep's to shame . Christine is only 4 months but I know she will be fab.
My closet buds are usually Leo but have Virgo dominant charts! And if Virgo's are tough on you , it's because they love /care about you.

Are you kidding me? Virgo women are awesome. Think about Beyonce. She's a Virgo. Everybody loves her. I don't understand the hate towards Virgo either. Virgo likes to point out reality and people hate reality because reality sucks. Maybe that's why many people seem to hate them.I personally love Virgos. They're like my third favorite aside from Aries and Aquarius. I get along well with them because I am a Virgo dominant. We need to show Virgos more love. IP: Logged |

Two people in my life who I have alot of respect for are virgos, both men and women. They are helpful, always there when I need them most, and they have a brilliant sense of humour. Sure, they can be critical at times, but it's only because they care. I would prefer someone who speaks the truth to me to help me improve my ways rather than just tell me what I want to hear all the time. I have mercury in virgo so I can understand them IP: Logged |

Personally, I really like Virgo women. I have never met one I didn't get along well with.Never stupid, usually quite good looking, down-to-earth, trustworthy, and can be very witty and funny when they are relaxed. I think women of the later water/earth signs in the zodiac usually reach their prime later in life, when they've learned their sense of self-worth and have accepted themselves. IP: Logged |

Funnily enough, I'm usually drawn to those with Virgo placements - Virgo sun or Virgo Ascendants. I find them inquisitive, but in a grounded and more logical way. As a Gemini, I am quite scattered and sometimes need harnessing before I fly off on a tangent.My ex was a Virgo Sun/Asc
My best friend is a Leo Sun/Virgo Asc

I like Virgo women. Unfortunately, I don't know many personally, but the ones that are in my life are awesome! Here is an example of 3:Virgo 1 is my aunt-in-law.
She is so much fun. She's very sporty, healthy and adventureous. She doesn't dress like Brie from Desperate Housewives nor can she cook or clean, haha. Most of her time she spends going to the beach, playing sports, and hanging out with her 2 teenage sons. She's very good with money, yet very generous with herfamily members. Yesterday we went to the beach. For the first time ever she game an advice: "You should put sunblock again, it may have washed away, because you spend most of your time in water" FIRST ADVICE EVER! I must be perfect for this Virgo, right haha I'm like, "Naaaah, I'll be fiiiine" (gotta love my Jupiter domination). Guess what? Yess, she was right, I wish I've listened to my caring auntie. I look like a boiled lobster, every part of my body hurts PS. I don't know her Asc, but man she looks soo young! At least 10 years younger. Virgo 2, another relative. She's very very gorgeous! Sun conj Asc. Tall, slim, long hair, perfect teeth... She's very friendly and popular. Unfortunately, she's not very confident, and her Cappy bf is quietly bullies her  She opened up to me, admitting that he always critisizes her calling her FAT and UGLY!!! She's very slim and gorgeous... Even if she was fat, if you don't like it, f***ing leave! And other things. It's very sad. I think, her Sun in 12th takes it all in, and buries deep down, without complainting. Her style is more Virgo'y. Virgo 3.
She's a fire-cracker. Girl always has a smile and positive mood. She has a blog, where she promotes and writes articles for local shops and restaurants, etc., aming at promoting local produce. She loves Vintage clothing, and has modelled for some shops/designers, as well as other modelling jobs. She's very sociable, and fun to be around. She knows everyone in town and is very popular. Her style is CRAZY, a mix of vintage with modern with hippy

For what it's worth it's easier for many here to see the criticism but overlook the praise. And EVERY sign or placement gets trashed at one time or another. One member even started posting negative threads as an experiment and everyone had haters join her on hating on the placement. I haven't noticed that much hostility for Virgos here (though I have seen it, just one more sign to get trashed because someone had a bad breakup with that placement or a mother they couldn't stand, etc). In any case, Virgos are NOT the most often hated sign (though neither do they get a lot of love), on LL or anywhere else as far as I've noticed. Sorry if telling you that you're not as hated as you think you are comes off as insulting you. Likewise, Virgo men aren't really praised anywhere as much as the Scorpios and Aries (though I recall one thread by a woman who said she loved Aries men but couldn't stand Aries women and interesting enough she described them as exactly the same, it's just she found the very same traits sexy in men but obnoxious in women, and I was able to infer that she felt unable to compete for Aries men against Aries women because of it). Interesting enough I'd think your Sag rising (self-righteous cheater!) and Pisces moon (crazy!) would get you more criticism than a Virgo sun. OTOH, your Scorpio Mars should be greatly admired, which I say is odd because many fans of the placement describe them in a way that makes me think "that's why restraining orders were invented."
