I have this placement and stand out amongst my friends as the one who gets morose about war, talks about war and social injustice a lot, cannot handle bigotry or violence. I try to hide my intensity, but it usually shows...especially if a friend makes an insensitive remark about oppressed people...

Just watched this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFn8T7gKiYM

The girl is saying, that's a function of 12H Saturn. I'm wondering if anyone else has this placement and feels this same way? As if, you are taking every problem in this world to heart...taking it personally.

She also says that 12H Saturn people have serious trouble talking about their problems, because people cannot see the problems. They are in the nebulous, cloudy 12th house. This is the *hidden Saturn.*

Basically we are on our own to work these things out...through service, spiritual practice, etc.

I feel you so much on this. I don't have Saturn in the 12th, I have it in the 7th, but it squares literally all my personal planets except the moon (which is in Scorpio) and I've always had a sense of a debt to society.

I feel like I'm one of the few people who cares, and therefore I should do something about it because if I won't, nobody else will

The person I know with this placement whines a lot about her problems. I do know that 12th saturn might indicate death of father

I feel like that, too. I mean, if I disagree with someone on a political issue, and can't get them to see my point, no matter how hard I try, it can put me in a black funk for days, because I feel like I am failing humanity.

I know it sounds crazy.

So Faith I am replying before reading the comments because I don't want to forget. Forgive me if this has already been said. She said that you need to dream, focus on dreams. I love this. This is really a tangible solution to something that seems intangible. Dream. Do you focus on your dreams? I think it is awesome to have a challenge in which the solution is to dream- just amazing and in my world a blessing.. you are really special.

I know you read. I read that you read You should read about dream cultures. Central and South American, Indigenous around the wide world, and even south eastern European and of the Vikings

I like what she said about the suffering of others being absorbed by you. With the exception of feeling non-emotional pain and physical pain, I feel that too. I can relate to feeling absorbed pain, but it's emotional. Your job in the world is to be a servant to humanity. That's what she said. Do you relate to that, Faith?

I think it's a beautiful calling. A number of the things you need to do are the same as what I need to do as a 12H Sun, but maybe the experience that leads us to our purpose is slightly different.

She said to learn to control your dreams. I love this girl!

Thank you- that was so nice of you, to watch that!

Smilies listed here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/smilies.html

Good idea-- to look at dream cultures. Especially since I never heard of them before.

Well, last night while I was sleeping, something happened. Not sure if it was a dream-- or what. But I got a sense of euphoric peace, if that makes any sense. As this was happening, my cat started going bonkers, she ran into my room meowing like it was an opera, jumped on me and rubbed her head against mine.

What the heck happened?

Completely. I've been saying for years, I need to work in hospice. Won't feel "right" about myself until I do.

Thank you so much again-- I owe you lotsa songs.

Yeah, Faith. That video was excellent. That woman is amazing. She honestly operates on higher level of consciousness. I am sure she has a lot of people who don't understand because she goes deep. Most of us are still just scratching the surface when it comes to self examination/discovery. I'd watch her video a few times if I were you to be sure you caught everything she was getting at. Sometimes she only hints at things and it's up to you to dig deeper on your own. Anyway, it was easy for me to tell even through this foggy interaction (posting in a forum) that you are gifted and have something to achieve/realize within yourself. We all do. For me it is pronounced in you.

And Yes! Dream cultures. I don't know if that's what they're formally called, but I am talking about people who put a great deal of focus on dreams and dreaming (I'll do some research this week). My dreams are prophetic, but hard for me to interpret, so I can't use them. I just realize them when they come true. I don't know what the dream world is, but to me it is as important as this waking reality.

I agree, she was more like, channeling. I'm so happy you saw it, too. Something to realize within ourselves....yes....you put your finger right on it. If I seem to be a more pronounced case, perhaps it's only because I've gotten further off track, so my efforts to reclaim lost ground are more dramatic.

I also have prophetic dreams.

edit

I did a psychic dreams thread years ago...rather than bumping it, maybe we could start a new one next week. IF you are still around.

Great talking with you

I feel like this a lot, maybe Pisces energy has to do with it as well? I don't have Saturn in 12th, or really any 12th planets (Uranus on cusp). I purposely avoid the news sometimes because really sad and horrific stories really drain me and made me feel so down. I get really upset and frustrated when others ignore or deny the suffering of others. The lack of sensitivity displayed by people at times really boggles my mind.

I don't know if you feel this way Faith, but lately my misery comes from being disappointed in people. I'm becoming very disillusioned from the motives and behavior of others, my ability to trust them, what to expect from them, and just people in general. I just find myself often giving too much to others, and while I have no problem giving without receiving anything in return, it is the feeling my time and energy invested often is wasteful or pointless. I struggle now with wondering if I am way too generous at times or if the problem is having too high of expectations.

You already know how I feel about dreams. Maybe we could make a dream long somewhere.

I can relate to this.
I have sun in aquarius conjunct saturn in the 12th house. I get very fired up about inequalities and injustices I see in the world. However, being an aquarius my opinions are controversial.I speak out about the way men's issues are forgotten in society and how our society treats drug addicts and people with mental disorders, particularly people with high functioning autism/aspergers.

I also get ticked off when I see anyone getting bullied or dealing with unnecessary hatred/prejudice, regardless of who they are or what they have done. Here's a good example... I was just viewing facebook and saw a meme someone had shared. The meme read "I don't know why we conduct tests on animals when we have prisons full of pedophiles". I know i'm in the minority when I say this but that is f*cked up. It baffles me that society thinks it's ok to play God and judge some people so harshly. My dad is in prison and when i've visited him he has bragged about how him and others heckle and harass men convicted of sex offenses. Needless to say I did not support that. In my thinking they are still people regardless of how sick and morally reprehensible their actions are/were and they don't deserve to be treated worse than anyone else. They are just imperfect humans dealing with some nasty demons.I think we all deal with our own demons and need to be more compassionate and understanding towards each other. If everyone tried to do that this world would be a better place.

I do not stand up for them..... Please re-read my post. I get irritated when anyone is being unnecessarily hated or bullied. In case you haven't noticed people think it's perfectly acceptable to be cruel and treat such people like sh*t. Don't get me wrong, what they do is wrong and morally reprehensible and sick.... But.... They don't deserve anymore hatred and harsh treatment than any other criminal. They should be able to do their time and face their consequences like anyone else. Why do people think it's ok to wish for them to be raped or murdered in prison? It is not right to wish such things on anyone, no matter who they are.

*Sigh*
Some people need to go back to school and learn reading comprehension skills. I DO NOT condone such things. I find it sick and morally reprehensible.... I do not, I do not, I do not, I do not, I do not condone those things. Am I crystal clear? Do you understand me yet? I'm just saying it is not ok to hate them and wish harm on them. It's not ok to hate anyone or wish harm on them for that matter.i just used them as an example because they are a group of people that everyone seems to think it's ok to hate. I mean honestly.... Why do people think it's ok to wish for someone to be raped or murdered, regardless of who they are? How could anyone consider themselves a nice or decent person when they harbor those barbaric thoughts and have so much hatred in their hearts? Hatred is not the answer and doesn't solve anything. That's all i'm saying...

Pisces yes; plus you have Capricorn in your 12H.

I tend to look at it like, a lack of wholeness...lack of awareness. Some outright vacancies in people's spirits. I don't deal with as many people in real life as you do, however...it's easier to be philosophic when you have the luxury of detachment..

To match, I find modern society outright crazy and exhausting.

I think Pisces moons have a calling to give more than we take. We will always have pain from that, which we have to figure out what to do with. It's a real challenge.

It's rare for me to have extraordinary dreams lately...I have no stories ready to go...but if you start one, I will follow. And if I have another big dream incident, I will post in Astral Realms and invite you to come see.

PS I'm trying the Bamboo conditioner because it's cheaper, and while the effect is nice and it smells super yummm, it's not as good as the Caviar. You get what you pay for.

I appreciate your position here, and I understand 100% what you're saying. A lot of people won't or can't, but your position is necessary in order to maintain balance and civility in society.

I also have prophetic dreams. In fact just today I saw a YouTube video tour of my great-grandfather's mansion, which is a sort of historic site...I've never seen it before. But as it turns out, I have been dreaming about it for years and years. Literally it was a homecoming, to see it. I cannot believe that this place I have haunted in my sleep all this time, is part of the house my grandmother grew up in.

Gotta make a pilgrimage-- the legend is, he still haunts the place. Maybe that's why I was so happy in my sleep last night? Because this is big news for me. I feel like, I know I am going to meet that ghost!

Channeling is exactly the word! Really amazing to witness when it is authentic.

I made a vow, didn't I? Well I could stick with the vow and then hang out on Sunday. I think then you could bump the thread. I love old threads! I'd feel a lot less pressure than if we start our own. Talking about how sexy venus-uranus women or virgo men are is one thing- dreams...that's kind of serious to me- lol. I'd rather bump the thread on Sunday. In the meantime, I will spend my extra time doing research since I Shouldn't be on LL- lol.

Hold on Faith, I feel you.

Find somebody who feels the same way and have real life conversations with them, it helps when you can exchange these kind of feelings with someone face to face.

And try to keep a journal of your dreams, contemplate on them in the mornings, it's a kind of therapy.

I'm becoming more and more sensitive, it's ridiculous, I can't watch documentaries, dramas etc. with other people because their insensitivity really hurts me. And I feel everything so deep and strong...I feel guilty about me being privileged, spoiled, safe, living in peace, having enough food etc. I cry a lot for people that suffer and feel their pain. I try not to be too current with what's happening in the war zones all over the world because it exhausts me. I watched series Into the was the other day and I was literally shuddering when I thought of all the human evil.

I feel rage as well as sadness, but I know I've gotta direct it somewhere.. channel it out. Help somewhere, although the pain won't stop. You will always feel it and it's okay in a way... that's just something we 12th house Saturns must feel.

Hugs.
