Quote from Gabby's list here (thank you Gabby!)

Vibhuti can refer to glorious attributes of the divine, and in this context is translated as 'all pervading', 'superhuman power', 'wealth' and so on.

Vibhuti (powers) can refer to paranormal powers that some believe can be developed by yoga practices.
Vibhuti Pada

Patanjali in the Vibhuti Pada of the Yoga Sutras, mentions many different vibhutis:

* Knowledge of the past and future
* Understanding the sounds (language) of all beings
* Knowledge of previous existences
* Knowing the minds of others
* Invisibility
* Suspending the ability of the body to be heard, touched, tasted, or smelled
* Foreknowledge of the time of death
* Strength of any attitude (such as friendliness)
* Super strength (such as the strength of an elephant)
* Knowledge of subtle, hidden, remote things
* Knowledge of worlds, realms, universes, etc.
* Knowledge of the arrangement of stars, planets, etc.
* Knowledge of the movement of stars, planets, etc.
* Knowledge of the arrangement of systems in the body
* Freedom from hunger and thirst
* Attainment of steadiness or immobility
* Visions of Siddhas (perfected beings)
* Knowledge of anything and everything
* Knowledge of the mind
* Knowledge of pure consciousness (purusha)
* Psychic hearing, touch, vision, taste, and smell
* Entering and controlling the bodies of others
* Ability to float or walk on water, swamps, thorns, and other such objects
* Ability to glow or radiate light around the body
* Super hearing (hearing at vast distances)
* Ability to fly
* Mastery over the elements (earth, water, fire, air, space)
* Making the body atomically small, indestructible, perfect
* Perfection of the body in beauty, strength, grace, and brilliance
* Mastery over the senses
* Quickness of the mind, perception with the senses
* Supremacy over all states of existence, omnipotence
* Higher knowledge
* Discriminating knowledge
* Absolute freedom (kaivalyam)

Can you associate these powers with an astrological aspect?

Or what astrological aspects you associate with other superhuman powers you prefer?

I was inspired by a friend of mine who dreams of superhuman powers (she is a superhuman lady without a doubt )

They exist. But the key is that it cannot be associated with an astrology aspect because people who possess these traits have risen above the laws of karma and the birth chart.

Very true. I met an old Saint of 95 years this January. There was a very big sacred festival going on, and the temperature was dead dropping cold and sky was cloudy when he came to the city. But the same day he arrived the climate got extremely pleasant with Sun and mild temperature. The moment I saw him, it felt I was drawn back to the era when real Gods lived on earth. It was very divine feeling, I went to meet him everyday as long he was in the city and just sit in his company. He lives very simple life, and his company was so holy that it was impossible to get up and leave.

He is a celibate and renounced soul. Although he was forced to marry, he just left the home as it is. He has written books equivalent to Ramayan, Bhagwad Geeta (ancient Indian texts on Lord Rama and Krishna).

His stay was 4/5 days long and the moment he left, the climate again changed to icy cold and it started raining. It was really bizarre because other than when he came it was impossible to be in the city because of cold. Every night when before sleeping I tried to think about God, he came in front of my eyes without any deliberate attempt. I think that yes this has to do with astrological aspects but certainly goes beyond law of Karma.

Also, it's said if you live more than 84 years law of Karma starts loosing it's affect on you and you start merging more and more with the Divine soul ( God )..

Awe, LeelLoo....I love this asteroid! Thanks for posting this topic!
Vibhuti is involved in a very special conjunction in my chart, along with some other aspects. After a long battle I believe I'm starting to feel my Vibhuti finally waking up!

Vibhuti is the sacred ash used in religious worship in Hinduism. The main ingredient of Vibuthi is a special kind of wood. It is burned in a sacred fire (Homa) to form white ash. Vibhuti is placed on the forehead as it is considered sacred and holy.

It serves as a reminder to the believer to cast away selfish and worldly desires that wrap the self in maya, meaning worldly illusion and distractions, and calls to mind the legend of how Shiva burned Kama (the god of desire) to ashes when Kama attempted to break Shiva's meditation. This incident is recorded in the contents of Shiva Purana which entails the history of Shiva and his family.

Vibhuti relates to Shiva and Red tilaka to Shakti(his consort Parvati). It is a constant reminder that Shiva and Shakti form the universe and everything is into being through, the union of Shiva and Parvati.

People who smear Vibhuti purify themselves from sins and also remove the sins of people who look at them besmeared with Vibhuti.

Another powerful asteroid is Toro (1685)

"Demetra George on the topic. Of note:
Astrologically, Toro symbolizes the intermediary in the octave progression between Mars and Pluto, transforming the raw, instinctual desires of Mars into the controlled, focussed and penetrating power of Pluto. Toro also describes how we handle the onslaught of violent or negative influences …

She goes on to say that (I’m paraphrasing now) Toro can be felt as brute force or ruthless aggression. It can also be a kind of “aggressive mastery” like martial arts, kickboxing, and the ability to take aggressive influences and transmute them into something more creative.

She really focuses on Toro being a source of Power and strength if we only tap into it."

It seems those with a prominent Toro, as a child get bullied in the areas Toro touches and become very sensitive in these areas. But as you grow up this pain can be turned into a power brought about from the pain endured.

I find it very interesting this asteroid is in this area of my chart, as I was spiritually stripped of all right to think for myself and had all my power stolen. But as I've grown up and taken back that power I've found so much strength to believe I am pure and loved by God even if I'm not a part of someone's religion or living according to another's "righteous" ways.

I believe Toro opposed Vibhuti has been a huge challenge in my life. Trying to find the balance by not allowing myself to be bullied into believing what others tried to force me to believe and then finding my own truth has been very hard for me.
A needed to learn everything all I've again, as an adult. I had to learn a truth that allowed me to believe in God, feel God and believe in my purity and sacredness to God. That was not easy bevause I was taught if I was not one of them and their I was part of Satans world and an enemy of God.

But I forced myself to stop believing that and feel God in everything not just their "religion".

I believe once you stop the bullying of Toro you turn it into your own power to turn your pain I to your greatest strengths.

In my chart Toro and Vibhuti aspect my Jupiter/Uranus midpoint-Cap@24.53

Jupiter/Uranus means the urge to break free of restraint, the drive for freedom. The need or desire for suddent changes of fortune, hence asociated with sudden luck, either bad or good. Difficulties with restraints imposed by the law of other authorities.

Byblis-199
Byblos was the ancient Phoenician port city of Gebal (called Byblos by the Greeks) on the coast of the Mediterranean sea in what is, today, Lebannon. According to the historian Durant, “Byblos thought itself the oldest of all cities; the god El had founded it at the beginning of time, and to the end of its history it remained the religious capital of Phoenicia."

Because papyrus was one of the principal articles in its trade, the Greeks took the name of the city as their word for book - biblos – and from their word for books named our Bible - ta biblia - which means 'the books’. Byblos is among the cities listed as candidates for the distinction of `oldest city in the world’ as it has been continuously inhabited for over 7,000 years.

In the famous Egyptian myth of Isis and Osiris, Byblos is cited as the city where Isis located the body of her dead husband in the trunk of a tree which had grown around him after his murder by his brother Set. The Phoenicians of Byblos also exported their own tales concerning religion and it is thought that the stories surrounding war in the heavens and an eternal battle between a great god of good and another deity of evil grew out of the Phoenician myths concerning the eternal war between Baal (god of the sky) and Yamm (god of the sea). This myth may have come from the Egyptian tale of the war between Osiris' son Horus and the dark god Set or transference may have gone from the Phoenicians to the Egyptians.
The tale of the war in heaven related in the biblical book of Revelation bears many similarites to both these much older myths in the same way that there are many motifs in the Bible borrowed by the scribes who wrote it from earlier tales of other cultures. So closely knit were the ties between Egypt and Byblos that some historians and scholars have claimed that Byblos was almost an Egyptian colony.

Wow, that is very important aspect! It's telling you that your higher energy, this sacred energy of Vibhuti is merged with your Chiron. This is how you will heal your Chiron wound. Chirons wound once healed turns into a healer. You will have a powerful urge to help others heal as you take on this beautiful energy! But first this energy will be part of your Chiron wound....probably a feeling of unworthiness, a feeing of not believing God could love you or see as a pure perfect creation no matter what!

The Pluto/Neptune together will be a powerful push to breakdown spiritual barriers that hold you back. It will push you to go against being a follower of spiritual routines that are not helping ppl to grow close to God instead holding them back or worse tearing them down and leave them empty and feeling unworthy of Gods love.
But there will be something in breaking down those barriers that causes a you to hurt, it will bring up your own fears of feeling unworthy or wrong as you break down those barriers. Breaking down those barriers will cause you to question your own worthiness and trigger your Chiron wound.
Their will something or someone you have to come to terms with and realize it's holding you back. You must let go of fears regarding growing in a new direction or maybe you fears about letting go of relationships that refuse to allow you to grow your own way. Maybe they don't believe in your goodness unless your doing something their way and dont allow you to be accepted if you grow into your truest self and away from them.
This stress will be a major issue in your life, do you allow yourself to outgrow old patterns or stay stuck due to fear or control of others.
The "Finger of God" is pointing to the issue, Chiron. What conjuncts Chiron is part of the issue but it can also be the help you need overcome the pain and turn it into a strength.
Allow the highest side of spirituality to help you rise above the ppl who use spirituality to control instead of inspire.
Allow the strength of feeling and believing in your own purity to come through and never allow yourself to disbelieve in your worthiness of life and Gods love....this is how you turn your wound into a healer in you. Overcome the fear that your in the wrong, your not! Believe in yourself!!
When you do this you will a powerful helper to others who also struggle by feeling they don't have the right to be happy and know God loves them no matter what anyone else thinks or if they go against others beliefs of what spirituality and divinity is.

Coming to your rescue! Let's start with the basics though. I see it like this:

Neptune: visions, remote viewing, out of body experiences, seeing things from other planes of existence (energy, entities), trance channeling, telepathy in the form of images, empathy
Uranus: claircognizance, telepathy in the form of knowing, sending energy
Pluto: healing, dealing with ghosts
Saturn&Neptune - telekinesis, psychometry
Chiron: healing

I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.

Wow.. Thank you so much for your powerful words, Gabby!!

The feeling of worthlessness - definitely major part of my insecurity.. I hold back a lot. Good things make me feel scared of losing them. When it's too good to be true, it probably is - this is how I think all the time. I'm like this with romantic relationships too..

My Chiron is in 6H, and I work in medical field so I'm at the right place to put my chiron to good use as a healer. I'm naturally empathetic so makes my job very easy. I can connect to my patients and they feel at ease right away.

I think I'm beginning to heal my chiron wound... but it'll take a long time I think...

The 6th house, that makes perfect sense that your healing would be focused on taking care of others on a daily basis!
Spirituality boils down to 1 thing, faith...in yourself, in the universe, in your life path being the right path for you.
If you use Vibhuti's energy it is the power that wipes away fears and doubts of unworthiness, spiritualities power is in the faith you give it. Faith makes you strong, if you allow it to, it can wipe away your fears of being unworthy.
Pluto and Neptune will expose and breakdown the walls of fears, but you have to believe in yourself and not let the fears creep back in....

Merging Vibhuti with Chiron is beautiful, you must be such an inspiring healer...I bet ppl light up when they see it's you coming to care for them!

How did you come to the conclusion there are no ghosts? There are many threads on psychic asteroids including a monster one. Who's curious enough will find them.

I checked my Vibhuti. It's square Neptune
