Aww she is so sweet. Venus2T, I think it really depends. You are her mother and I bet you are a very loving one. I think your daughter feels comfortable and loved by you, and she's not afraid to show you her emotions. Venus in 12th house is difficult, yet very magical position. It seems like it took traits from all houses. I hope your daughter some day will find that special person, when she grows older, to share her deeply hidden magical love with.

Agree. Venus in 12th only hides it's love from the world but there is a lot for those close, such as a mother. Only thing, later in life she may have relationships that she keeps secret. IP: Logged |

I have venus in the 12th and i'm definitely shy about giving affection. I can be very warm and affectionate with those i'm close to but i'm very reserved with most people. I'll rarely go up to people and hug them, but i'm not opposed to people hugging me. But just a word of warning.... If you are going to hug me or something, give me a head's up because it can take me by surprise if you don't. I had a girl hug me at a new years party this year and I wasn't expecting it at all and I kind of jumped back a little bit. I felt bad because I know it had to be awkward for her. But yea... Warn me before you hug me IP: Logged |

Just this week I was told to watch my tongue when I have to have a conversation with my employer on Monday. I'm a little too aggressive and fearless for my own good so I have to always watch it. Especially my mouth. (Mars conjunct mercury) So I come across shy and I hold back.
I should probably include that my Mars is a mess even without the 12th house placement. 4 squares from Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Moon. Neptune is pretty loose and was easy to get over but the other 3 are tight and plague me. No Mercury Mars aspect though. Never been the one to use words to defend myself. I have a friend like you that has the Merc influence on Mars. It is such a sight to see him use his Merc to put a person in their place. I grew up with him in a bad town. I always had to defend myself physically, and he never had to because he just made people feel real bad. We made a good team in that regard. I still laugh thinking about it IP: Logged |

Interesting thread. My experience of Moon in the 12H is being subject to irrational fears, or fears I can't identity, which may be in part because of a water moon. I've woken up sometimes feeling vague feelings of fear. I wonder if it has to do with what's happening out of body on the inner planes. IP: Logged |

I have mars conjuct Neptune in my 12th house. I am very sensitive and can get sad very easily. With mars, I would say I do fear my aggression. I think it also hold me back from standing up for myself too. I do love having Neptune there. IP: Logged |

Seems right on point, the Gemini I met, has his Sun, Mercury and Venus in Gemini, so in the 12th house would this make him very shy, but he tends to have alot of friends. So could his Mercury and Venus both be in Gemini, or would just his Venus have to be in the 12th house in Gemini. If the Sun is in the 11th house, would this person seem to attract alot of friends. I noticed everytime I tried to assist to help him, he immediately said, No I got it. So that would also mean to me that his Ascendant would be either Cancer or Leo IP: Logged |

And i don't get vivid dreams. And i rarely dreamm, at least the ones that are so meaningful that i remember them I do have Saturn opposing the jupiter thoughIP: Logged |

The trouble was not so much knowing what it was, but rather, embracing it because he found it difficult to free himself from other people's expectations and follow his own star. He says much of the time it feels like driving with the handbrake on. In his case, Mars is sq. Uranus and also sq. Venus. Like you, he also has had to put in a conscious effort to control darker violent impulses. His is a Leo Mars, btw, square a bunch of Scorpio planets. Interesting that like him, you chose boxing/martial arts as a healthier outlet. This brings me to a question. Now this may sound weird but, do you feel your energy/life force flows freely through the entire body, or is there (sometimes) a kind of disruption of the energy flow at the navel area? I'm asking this because the guy I talked about reports that he feels like his upper and lower body half somehow don't really connect, which I find interesting because Mars is associated with the Manipura (navel) chakra; and the Chinese and Japanese martial arts also say that this area of the body is important for finding a healthy form of aggression/self-assertion, they call it Dantian/Tanden. So my working hypothesis so far is that his 12th House Mars shows the energy flow disruption at the navel area. Other people can see it, too; one old master saw him do a single form and spotted it immediately. It's especially noticeable when energy needs to be transmitted from the feet, legs or hips to the arms. So even though he's really good, both in forms and full contact fighting, he feels he can never access his full potential due to that internal handbrake. The guy has Saturn in H1 sq. Sun and opp. Moon which doubtless contributes to this particular problem.
Yea, I think this effect is incredibly important. Ever since I learned about my North Node and thought up the life plan around it I've been relentless in my pursuit. It's honestly all I think about when I wake up - just working toward it. Fully functioning Mars now ! I think DeepFreeze was the user with the 12th Mars that also felt this. I could be wrong though. Embracing a calling is certainly its own form of finding a calling I would say so that's very 12th Mars of him. For the second part of your post I wish I had an answer. I took a day or two to reply to you because I wanted to think of it. And... nothing. I've always felt very connected to my body. A lot of sports feel natural to me. Except sports that involve external objects - any balls, bicycles, whatever external I'm awful. I throw like a sissy. But sports that involve only my body - boxing, running, swimming, dodgeball (only at dodging, not throwing). I'm a surprising natural at batting (my highschool buddies thought I'd be awful considering my past with 'ball' sports) the few times I tried baseball but I felt like using a bat was like using my arm with a longer reach. One thing I might offer is that stomach issues almost did me in a few times as an infant. So if Mars is connected to the naval area maybe that's something you can keep an eye on to see if there's a pattern. IP: Logged |

I can relate to Saturn in 12th. Mars, not so much, the only differences between aggression and passion are the intent and delivery IHMO.Moon, yes, but only verbally. I can express/share my emotions through songs/poems/letters. And I am improving on verbal delivery. What Vajra said about a distant relationship with the mother is true for me. Ironically, my mother's name asteroid directly opposes my moon in the 12th. IP: Logged |
