12th House Fears This seems like an interesting topic. I hope you will weight in.
Moon in the 12th–-Fear of showing your heart Sun in the 12th—-Fear of showing your personal power Mercury in the 12th House——Fear of speaking up Mars in the 12th House-—–Fear of your aggression Venus in the 12th House-–Fear of showing your love Jupiter in the 12th House-—-Fearless with physical activity. Has a guardian angel for protection Saturn in the 12th House-–Feels left out. Fear of joining the group Uranus in the 12th House–Fear of one’s kinky side Pluto in the 12th House- -Can have a double life. Fear of showing one’s primal passions in the every day world. Neptune in the 12th House—- This native is very, very sensitive which could lead to depression, very easily. One could say that this native will suffer from depression, in my opinion Chiron in the 12th House--This native has a real fear of being vulnerable. The reason behind this is a reluctance to face one’s own pain. Also, this native will not, usually, admit it. North Node in the 12th–This native finds it very hard to find his life purpose. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Ami,These are great. I have Venus in 12H and your description there resonates a 100% with me. My Sun and Mercury are in 11H but they conjunct Neptune, and I resonate a lot with your 12H Sun and Merc description too. Nothing to add from my perspective Well done. IP: Logged |

Agree with Venus.Fear of showing love probably in case of regection in early stages, especially. About Sun, I'm not sure...I need to think about it IP: Logged |

Thank you, L. The 12th House Sun holds back. He wants to shine, as we all do, but it is very hard for him imo ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

When I was younger absolutely. As I've grown up I've become a lot more accustomed to the energy. It depends on the situation and how I feel about it for me to have such fears. I've Sun, Moon, Mercury and Jupiter. Jupiter is me all day lol. I've had sooo many close calls. IP: Logged |

Are many of yours close to the ASC( within 10 degrees).
I count that 1st house, Barbie.

Depends how they are aspected. Example, **according to your interpretation**, my mars in 12th conjunct asc behaves as a first house mars.

My 12H Venus conjuncts the AC by 0 degrees, and I have seen both the 12H and 1H energies manifest in my life. 12H more so in earlier years up until recently, especially the negative traits. It's not so black-and-white I think. And agree it has a lot to do with the aspects as well. IP: Logged |

Ahh, totally resonates. At least, before I "overcame." Sun, Venus, Mercury and Mars all in 12h (and Virgo). I was quiet and internalized everything. I was fearful of what people would think of my love, myself, my thoughts/words, and especially (still) am afraid to express myself in anger. I don't tend to show my anger.. I have a hard time expressing my feelings in general, however - afraid people will think I'm looney. I grew out of that phase, a bit. Saturn (loosely for some, very tightly for others) squares most of the planets in my 12H as well as my Moon (Pisces, 6th house).IP: Logged |

Ami Anne, could you elaborate more on Jupiter in the 12th house? Is it really the only planet that doesn't show fear? IP: Logged |

Mercury and Venus in 12th here. They are both true. Though I'm getting better at speaking up now and I usually just show my love to family. But not too much.IP: Logged |

GREAT question and I was not sure what to do with Jupiter because it is the Guardian angel in the 12th The native will find that he gets into many near misses but gets out unscathed( or close) As far as fear, I would not call it fear. Perhaps, it would be a sense of bad timing i.e not being at the right place at the right time but I could not really call it fear, per se. However, I would love to hear from Jupiter in the 12th people and hear what they say, my Friend. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? quote: Originally posted by Vajra: Hmm…dunno if this really works like that, Ami Anne. Giving a few examples from people I know: One girl friend has Moon in 12th - she is very emotionally available and shows her heart more than anyone I know. But, she does have a somewhat distant relationship with her mother. Another woman, a relative, also has the Moon there and she is also very open with her heart, more so than most people. She, too, had a distant relationship with her mother but her Moon is also conj. Saturn which could account for that. One guy I know with Mars in 12th is not afraid of showing aggression - he can be really aggressive and actually chose a venue where he could do so in a regular way (martial arts). However, he has difficulty asserting himself in other ways, e.g. standing up for his life choices when criticized by people he cares about. And, he has a tendency to self-sabotage and sometimes lacks trust in his abilities. Myself, I have Uranus in 12th and have never been afraid of showing my kinky (or other unusual) sides…actually I'm not quite sure what Uranus in 12th would be afraid of instead. (I like eccentricity in myself and others, have no fear of technology or esoteric knowledge…this one is difficult.) To sum it up, I'm not sure the 12th house always necessarily signifies what one fears - it might indicate areas where one is lacking in some way though. In traditional astrology, the 12th was related to confinement, imprisonment; maybe this explains what I mean; it could show things the native has no ready access to. (Fear, traditionally, is the domain of Saturn; it shows what one fears by sign and house placement - at least this works in most cases I know).
"it could show things the native has no ready access to".. I have moon in the 12th, I too have had been distant with my mom, I feel like only because of our plutonic relationshop, are we able to in steps get closer. I have noticed that I give more emtionally to others, as you described, but more so. So I quoted your last sentence, which reasonated wih me well - it has kinda felt like I had to build myself emtionally from scratch, and that in itself is indeed a fear.

I'm another example. I chose boxing and I've never been afraid of being aggressive. I fear my aggression in the sense that I don't drink heavily, or do drugs because over the course of my youth I realized I become too aggressive when these things lower my inhibitions. I'm a reckless and aggressive stupid drunk so I had to learn to fix that about myself. It was the first thing astrology made me learn. My current opinion is that Mars square Neptune is more of an assertive thwarting aspect than Mars in the 12th. I feel Mars in the 12th is more about having trouble finding your calling or where you want to put your energy into. Like a Mars in the 10th will find it easy to put their energy toward their career. What do you think? It's my current opinion and you know I value yours, Vajra. IP: Logged |

Sun in 12:The only area of my life I struggle with asserting my personal power is in romantic relationships, but I think that has to do with Venus...Otherwise, I am pretty assertive. Much more in real life than online because online i can't completely understand what I've communicated to a person. My goal is never to hurt anyone, only to be heard. Venus in 12: Is this fear of showing love in romantic relationships only? I have a daughter with a 12th house Venus and she is honestly the most affectionate of my children. She likes LOTS of hugs and kisses. She is 10 and still sits on my lap all the time. She has no problem letting me know what she needs and telling me when I am not giving her what she needs. Yep! I have mars in 12th and the only fear that I have about my aggression is I feel the need to pull it back. I don't want to get too aggressive. Just this week I was told to watch my tongue when I have to have a conversation with my employer on Monday. I'm a little too aggressive and fearless for my own good so I have to always watch it. Especially my mouth. (Mars conjunct mercury) So I come across shy and I hold back. IP: Logged |
