My taurus 8th house lord is also my libra 1st house lord, Venus. Venus is in my 1st conjunct Pluto/AC Pluto/Venus are opposed my Jupiter Venus is opposed ChironI find myself thinking about suicide at times, even though I don't want to...it's always there. I've written poetry about the feelings and suicide itself. I don't think I could ever actually go through with it. It's sad to me the my mind goes there at all. If I didn't have children that love me and need me, I'm not sure if I'd still be here. IP: Logged |

I've *heard* Saturn near the ASC... I couldn'ttell you why, though. It was something someone pointed out in a natal chart analysis. ------------------ Nothing that you have not given away will ever be really yours. -- cs lewis IP: Logged |

I took a bunch of pills when transiting Pluto was exactly conjunct my natal Saturn. I didn't die, of course, but I may have if I hadn't stopped myself.IP: Logged |

What house does your saturn fall in? Does saturn make any aspect to your chart? ------------------ Sun Capricorn, Moon Aries, Libra Rising IP: Logged |

12th house Perhaps certain squares to moon Uranus hard aspect to asc? (Kurt Cobain had conjunct, yes?) Of course I would never always include these people or exclude anyone that doesn't have these (and I'm sure there are other indicators). IP: Logged |

I remember Kurt had SUN conjunct RIP, MOON conjunct ORCUSr (lessons through death or something?), and CHIRON conjunct GRAVES. I'm not sure if it actually means anything, but thought it was worth mentioning. IP: Logged |

Not to pry, but was it by chance for love? You have Jupiter conjunct Algol in H5, which I'm guessing would make you do crazy things for love, while being wildly optimistic. Then if things don't go as planned... I can see how this could turn badly. I hope you're in a better place now!

I have Saturn widely conjunct the ASC if my chart rectification is correct, and I have never seriously thought of committing suicide. My son has Saturn-ASC and is very grounded and stoical. Can't see him ever being suicidal. I'm a Cap sun and he's a Cap moon, and maybe that's a factor. But still, I would think that Saturn-ASC prolongs (Saturn) a person's physical presentation to the world (ASC.) IP: Logged |

I've made four (that I remember) attempts. One or two not so serious but did require hospitalization anyway due to physical medical needs from the attempts. I very very much contribute it to 12th house - no question. - Feeling different - Feeling Alone - Feeling stuck - Feeling tired - Feeling angry Thankfully, it's all behind me, though it can cross my mind. I usually squash any of that thinking very quickly. Usually I just want to run away if anything but all in all it's rare nowdays.

No, I've never been in a relationship or in love; it was out of sheer desperation. quote: Originally posted by SoaringLeaves: I hope you're in a better place now!
Thank you! I don't think I'll ever kick the depression, but I try to treat myself better.Interestingly, tMoon and tSaturn were closely conjunct each other and opposite my natal Mars that day. Therefore, based on my experience, I often attribute suicide or strong suicidal tendencies to a combination of the Moon, Saturn, and Pluto. IP: Logged |

my ex husband has suicide run in his family. His father, his grandfather and his cousin killed themselves. He himself has thought about it. He has saturn conjunct his ASC. This was conjunct my moon, mars AND saturn. So it was a double whammy saturn influence and our relationship often felt very heavy IP: Logged |

Aw CupofDavid you are too kind. I see how deeply he feels though. Since he was young, his emotions were turbulent, and I just foresee all kinds of distress. He is easily overwhelmed and brought to tears. I don't know how to help him fortify this part of himself, or perhaps, he just needs to let the currents flow. This isn't an easy aspect for a male. I see him trying to control his emotions and be a man about it, but this isn't healthy. Thanks for your reply; it made me think! IP: Logged |

Personally, I believe intense transits are more indicative of suicide when coupled with an inwardly emotional nativeFor me, this transit was the one and only time I tried: Moon Opp T Neptune Moon Opp T Sun Sun Opp T Saturn T Neptune & T Sun were tightly conjunct in my 12th house I'm so not proud of that time in my life but I can see that the energies of the planets were not supporting me, which for some odd reason helps me understand it better IP: Logged |
