Topic: What's the 'Sugar Daddy' placement/s??

Edit: Talking about the placement in a man's chart.. Just curious! I'm using the term a lot more liberally. In this context, it doesn't refer to silver-haired men who like young playthings. I'm talking about men who like spoiling their woman of choice... Also, in the old fashioned sense, those who view themselves as providers for their family... So, umm.. sugar daddy in a loving sense (sounds botched?)  I've noticed Mars in Cancer and some Leo/Taurus placements (not all, mind you - jst some of these placements) want to buy you pretty things and shower you with presents. I want to know if you guys have noticed a similar pattern, and if so, most frequently with which placement? IP: Logged |

I would guess maybe Venus/Jupiter in 2nd house or something?Something with his 2nd house that involves his 'love' signs. But I also agree, it would have to be something activated by the other person in synastry. Because a guy can't really be a sugar daddy without someone he wants to... sugar. Haha. Otherwise, he's kinda just a rich dude. IP: Logged |

Well. Stay away from my placements ;-).
I dont mind spending money on what my sweatheart wants, i dont care so much for earthly posessions either. But i demand nothing less than that she puts down her half of the cost. ------------------

Lol yes it sounds botched. In terms of provider, strong saturn or cap placements in my experiences. I have it, the "provider instinct" is strong. Well in general I just like him to have the best of everything I have to offer. My s.o is also like that, 10th house saturn, cap asc. IP: Logged |

Not counting sugar daddies in the usual sense, and not counting those who are using those "gifts" as chains to control you (which is diabolical, not spoiling), I can only think of ONE man like this, and he's on LL (though he almost never posts anymore). He's a Cappie sun with a lot of other Cappie placements, but I don't recall them. Come to think of it, I did know another Capricorn sun who leaned that way, it was just harder to tell because he was so poor. But he gave until it hurt, even when it got him nothing. In one extreme case he chipped in for the funeral expenses of a woman he loved AND gave her little girl the start of a college fund, though he'd get nothing for it in return, but he felt compelled to in order to show his love. Therefore, I think it's a safe bet that had he been filthy rich then he'd also fit the bill. IP: Logged |

Though I'd add, the Mars in Cancer I know isn't like this (though he's not cheap, either). And I could see Leo doing it just to make themselves look good, in short, making you an accessory.  Leo/Taurus...I'd worry that this was one of those diabolical types (in which the gifts of Christian Grey is an extreme case of "spoiling" with a diabolical purpose in mind). IP: Logged |

Even if you have his Jupiter (Pisces 12th) conjunct your Saturn/Juno in the 5th ? It's also square my Sun in the 8th and and trine my Moon in 9th, and Pluto and part of fortune in 1st. IP: Logged |

I agree with what majority says here. I thought Cap Venus was one of the most stingy ones but I see that even when they don't have money they try to help the ones they love in many practical ways like providing them food for example or giving the little money they make. I disagree with Cancer being one of them.. Cancer, Aries, Sag and Pisces are the most stingy.. Pisces mostly because they don't value material things and are impractical. Aries, Cancer and Sags or people with heavy 1st/9th H planets tend to not give at all and might just ask for themselves in one way or another. Materials are linked with earthy signs the most and I've seen earthy Moons paired with earthy Venus or Leo Venus being the most giving ones. They give whatever they can. If Pisces were practical they would be in this category for sure. People with 8th H planets especially Venus/Jupiter/Pluto tend to attract money/matetials from others (especially partners)
An exception is Saturn in 8th H which I have myself and I believe Neptune in 8th H too. When someone has personal planets in your 8th H he will probably want to give you no matter how stingy he normally is.

This is true I have Venus, Jupiter, Mercury and North Node in my 8th house. I've always been taken care of in regards to money and materials. I'll admit I was spoiled growing up but this isn't something that I am proud of at all. Sometimes I wish I hadn't of been for several reasons. I'm not sure about the partners though as I've only ever been in one longterm relationship. I do know wealthy people though or people who could possibly become wealthy. Personally, I wouldn't mind having a Sugar Daddy BUT I wouldn't solely rely on him for money because a woman shouldn't rely on a man for money. My guess is the Crab Sun, Moon or Venus. Definitely 5th house. This is a nurturing, caring, protective, pampering placement. Maybe extra potentiality if Jupiter is in 5th Cancer.IP: Logged |
