Supposedly Transiting Nodes touching anything in our Natal charts, and even possibly the Composite chart, bring a change depending on the nature of the planet.

Please, share your experience as Transiting Nodes passage thru your chart.

I am soon to experience TR North Node on my Pluto. Sounds transformative to me.
Anyone?

Nodes transiting the Vertex...what happened then?

I'm really excited for the nodes to change. My ASC-DSC axis is at Virgo/Pisces 28° so it'll get hit immediately once the energy shifts into the new signs.

The Libra/Aries nodes were extremely boring until the transiting south node hit my Aries Venus in the 7th. The most insane thing happened -- a figure from my past with his north node in Libra entered my life in an abrupt way at the same time. My Venus sits on his south node at about 1° so it really was a "past-life-brought-to-the-present" experience in the most intense sense of the phrase.

The North Node transiting my Venus was extra special too, because me and him share a synastric Sun-Venus opposition, both squaring his natal Nodes at 0 degree, and his Saturn plugged in the picture. We started our relationship when the Transiting Nodes hit that Grand Square and activated the skipped step. Amazing time marker.

Please, note your experience with the Nodes transiting your angles. I am going to have that too, even thou my angles are reversed to yours and at early degree.

We were never together but we... had an extremely intense relationship for our given roles. We no longer speak because the intensity culminated into a major blow out (with both of us having pretty good points admittedly) but I can honestly say it was the most bizarre interpersonal experience of my entire life. Ever since then I've been watching the current nodes like a hawk and scanning my past transits for big nodal hits to compare and contrast.. it seems like the most intense things happen with the transiting south node more than the NN for me.. kinda weird. The NN plays a big role in my natal chart.

You guys sound like you have extremely fated synastry! Does he have any major planets in Virgo/Pisces?

I'll definitely keep you posted when the nodes hit my ASC-DSC. I'm pretty excited, especially because I have my Mars/Vertex/DSC all at 19-28° Pisces, so that'll be my big SN hit.

Plus it'll be my boyfriend's nodal return and my current academic mentor's reversed nodal return! An exciting time hopefully..

We need to return and update this thread when the Nodes hit your angles, and my guy's Moon. It will be interesting to share the experience

Anyone?

My S.O. will have North Node on his Moon at the same time.
What happened to you during that time?

Hi Orange, I've heard some others say that transit NN over Pluto wasn't too bad for them, so I'm hoping that you get the good side of this transit.

My experience with it is not good, though. For me, it is the worst, most painful, and most dreaded transit I've ever known.

I've had it twice in my life so far. The first time was when I was 6 years old. My natal Pluto is at 29°20' Virgo. The day transit NN was at 29°17', my Dad was killed in a violent car crash. My natal Moon is 3 degrees away at 25°50' Virgo, so after the transit NN hit my Pluto, it spent the next few months approaching my Moon, which makes sense, because after such loss, the aftermath was filled with deep, intense emotions.

The second time I went through this transit was when I was 24. Again, with my natal Pluto at 29°20', once transit NN got to 29°18', another horribly painful time came with it. I won't go into details, but it was emotionally painful and hurt for months as the tranit NN kept going toward my Moon.

Here I am at 43, and now, once again, here comes transit NN heading for my Pluto. It's a little less than 1° away right now, but in 2 weeks, on Nov. 17 it will be at 29°18' Virgo. I have to admit, in all honesty, I am terrified. Since both previous passes brought 2 of the darkest, most painful times of my entire life, I am filled with dread with each passing day. I keep telling myself to just relax and not to fear, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't afraid of this transit based on both previous times of living through it.

I know it's not so bad for some people, and I'm not sure why it is for me, but it is. I truly hope it brings something less dramatic and painful for you. I will let you know in about 2 weeks what it brings this third time around. Please pray for me that it's not like the other two times.

Yeah, Pluto is a major player in my chart.

-Pluto-Moon conjunction is at the apex of a T-square. Pluto-Moon squares Sun-Venus and squares Jupiter; Jupiter opp. Sun-Venus.
-Pluto sextiles Mars-Asc. conj.
-Pluto trines Desc.-N.Node conj.
-Pluto is 5th house ruler
-Also, it conjuncts my Chart Ruler (which is Moon)

I'll be sure to keep you posted of what the transit brings this time. Here's hoping it won't be quite as bad as the other times.

It's officially at 29 Virgo!

One more degree and it'll conjunct my ASC and then travel backwards into my 12th house.

I reconnected with an old best friend earlier this week who messaged me randomly on IG. I hadn't talked to her since last NYE as I had a falling out with another mutual friend. I was a little suspicious but we made plans today and we talked non-stop for 5 hours like no time had passed.

Another person from my past messaged me on IG - the ex I think the most fondest of. We chatted for a bit and he asked for my phone number but I declined as we both have s/o's now and I thought it would be disrespectful. I last talked to him in 2013.

Very unexpected events.

Wildhorses,

you do have quite an active Pluto in your chart. Here is the deal withe drama - when Nodes or anything else transits your Pluto - the transit activates everything that is involved with your Pluto - the sun, the moon, the venus , all is fired up. You are a trooper, thou, a veteran, it will be a moskito bite this time.

athena,

so the South Node is approaching your DSC and old flames are popping up, especially the fondest love! My transit will be the reverse, North Node will be on the DSC, hm hm

Absolutely horrible. So sorry

Node-Pluto contacts have been pretty brutal for me as well: when tr NN was conjunct my 8H moon, I lost my father. Tr Pluto on my Scorpio NN, I lost my mother.

Strange: lost my ex-soulmate with tr NN @ 28 Virgo. Square my 29 Sag pr moon at that time.

But I'm wondering...maybe 0 Libra NN/0 Aries SN tends to create new beginnings?

I will edit in more tr NN milestones as I find them.

---

Entered religious phase: tr NN at 10 Virgo square 8 Sag tr Pluto on my Venus-Neptune MP; tr SN conjunct my Pholus

Marriage: tr NN 21 Leo, square 20 Scorpio NN. Got pregnant immediately, too.

Birth of first child: tr NN 4 Leo on Saturn-ASC midpoint; pr moon 5 Aquarius

String of unfortunate events: tr Pisces NN square Sag Pluto on my Vertex

Got serious about astrology: tr NN 23 Sag conjunct Vertex; pr moon on tr SN in Gemini in pr 10H

That makes sense. It feels that way, too. It feels like something always happens with the node transit that triggers everything at once. I feel braced for it this time, as much as you can be anyway, but here's hoping I do just end up holding a baseball bat for an incoming mosquito.

@Faith,

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss you had to go through with NN transits, too. They sure can pack a brutal punch. Thank you for the prayers, too. You're awesome.

I also think what you said about the tNodes being near the Aries/Libra point makes sense. It's like it activates our Draconic Chart in a prominent way, with it's NN being at 0° Aries, and that activation launches us into a dramatic growth period. Things to ponder.

Once tNN gets by my Pluto, in a few years I'll get tPluto on my NN in 7th house, which conj. my DC 2°.

Choo-Choo... transit train coming.

Hi Orange!
Yes, I had tr. Pluto conjuncting my SN about 2 years ago and since then, moving back and forth, Pluto conjuncted my SN some other times, too. I only recently discovered this
I am not sure how to interpret it, I have read somewhere that tr. Pluto on the SN could bring really transformative experiences and "karmic" encounters/lessons. The first time tr. Pluto was on my SN was the time that I moved from my homecity to another city, the second time tr. Pluto was on my SN 2 months later, I fell deeply in love. I' ll try to find the link about tr.Pluto on SN! But I can say it wasn't that horrible! I had difficulties during this time, ok, but not something really terrifying I guess, just life So, don't worry, I hope all will go well for you!

p.s. However, I have been thinking whether tr. Pluto on my SN led to me starting to study astrology, because this has definitely been a transformative experience for me! But I am not sure if these two are connected yet. Btw, my SN is in my 12th house, I imagine the transit affects the houses involved mostly.

Glad if I helped
Yes, I found it, I was heading out when I posted, so now that I am baaaack

That was the excerpt I was talking about..

"A transit of Pluto and the nodes is very karmic and transformational. A transit of Pluto to the nodes can either be something from a past life that was left unfinished or a step that was skipped that we have to go over again in this life, relive, or we can receive some kind of a gift, something from the fruits of our past life labors in which in the past so much attention was put into a certain area of life with such pure intentions that you can reap what you've sown in the past.

Pluto can produce emotional shocks in which something is removed from our lives. We may not understand why until much later. Pluto can also create a situation in which we become aware of a hidden talent or capability. Pluto can work in many ways, but the goal of Pluto is always transformation."

from here http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1839

And I just saw there are some other posts here in LL, as I can see there are some contradictory opinions, but they refer to "karma" a lot..
for example this http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/014803.html

What happened to my love? Hmmm, I was involved with the guy for 1,5 year, but I think the feelings were not mutual unfortunately, but ok, this happens, I don't think it has to do with Pluto lol! Or perhaps I don't know much about the power of transit Pluto yet

The Day I met my husband transit Southnode was conjuncting my 7th house ruler by 1d and my MC by 3d. Transit Jupiter was conjuncting exact my Southnode in the 1st. Transit Saturn was conjuncting my vertex, valentine, True priapus and his Northnode in the 4H.

The Day we got married transit Northnode was conjuncting my Southnode in the 1st house under 4d and it was conjuncting my Sun/Moon midpoint by 1d26.

The day I met my ex:

His Chart ruler is Mercury and my DC ruler is Mercury. His AC conjuncts my Mercury and on the day we met transit Mercury was conjuncting exact my MC and his AC and by under 2d my mercury. Transit Pluto was conjuncting exact my AC and transit Saturn was conjuncting exact my DC and Transit Uranus was opposing by 1d my Venus. Transit Chiron-Mars were con my Sun/Moon midpoint and transit moon was trining my moon and conjuncting his Karma and true lilith, Transit Neptune was conjuncting exact his Amor (neptune rules his 7H)..

Nodal transits: Transit Psyche was conjuncting my Vertex by 1d25 and his Northnode exact. Jupiter and Northnode were both transiting my 7th. Transit Southnode was conjuncting exact my Cupido.

Wow Transit Southnode and Transit Pluto were both conjuncting tightly my natal Southnode the day my Ex and I broke up.

I always thought that transit chiron on the midpoint of my 2H Ruler and 8H ruler was the culprit but turns out Pluto transit on my Southnode, his vertex, and his IC played an important role as well.

Interesting bc his AC conjuncts my Mercury 7H ruler which is my skipped step as my Mercury tightly squares my nodes.

Pardon me for asking, but do you think you found out why the break-up took place? I am referring to this part "Pluto can produce emotional shocks in which something is removed from our lives. We may not understand why until much later."
Only if you want to tell of course.

I was the one that broke up but I didn't want to at all and I had this super strong sensation that I did not have a choice on this matter at all and our break up felt fated like it was completely out of my control even though I pulled the trigger just like us meeting felt completely out of my control. It was very bizarre and it was the hardest thing I had to do in my life and overcome. It took me years to recover from the break up but part of what I was feeling the day I broke up was that he was holding me back and I would not be able to keep growing as a person if I stayed with him , there was this feeling of feeling stuck although I was madly deeply in love like I have never been in my life.

All I can say is that yes I needed to let go of him to continue developing my northnode qualities and that me and him were excessively overly attached to each other because we have had so many past lives together that the break up had to happen to balance out any excessive attachment and over dependence we had over each other that was hindering our personal growth but it was the hardest thing I ever did in my life and I felt dead inside for a long time after we broke up and every inch of me was in pain but it did built up my emotional resilience and forced me to dig deep inside and look for strength to rise above all this still loving him unconditionally. It also forced me to address any obsessive tendencies in my personality and outgrow that or balance it out and that was an important lesson. It was also about learning to let go fully.

(Mercury rules my 7th and parallels pluto and juno, I was very intense and all or nothing with love and relationships, I gave myself completely to him and I feel pluto takes away what you became too attached to specially if it gets in the way of personal growth, its like losing him was part of my journey to became more emotionally resilient, independent, balanced and less obsessive and intense).

I was in shock about the break up, two weeks earlier everything was great, it did shook me at my core and left me completely in shock even though I was the one that 'broke up' but it didn't feel that way at all to me, it felt like the universe did it. I know odd.

Interesting...

My chart: Mercury 7H Ruler parallel my Pluto and Juno (7H ruler is like a Venus)

His chart: Venus-Pluto-Juno stellium

...and we both have Moon conjunct and parallel moon in our angles, his DC and my IC.

I did meet my match emotionally, it explains why he is the only one I fell for as deeply as I did.

Now you have my story to add to your list! Pluto Southnode is for real, I felt that force strongly. It made me break up with my ex against my will pretty much, I felt I had no control of the outcome even though I broke up with him, it was a very bizarre feeling.

It was transit pluto and southnode conjuncting my natal southnode in my case though so southnode was extra involved.
