Where is your Saturn Ami? :edit: I missed it earlier.. It's in the 2nd house... Hmmm.... Maybe Saturn could also pinpoint something that we receive from family as an inheritance? IP: Logged |

Oh wow.. Actually this is a pretty cool idea I just had...So ... maybe... Saturn in the 5th could have parents (or grandparents) who are very established as "famous" artists... so maybe art runs in the family for them. And Saturn in the 2nd (your placement!) would have a family that is at least financially stable, or wealthy. Saturn in other houses... e.g. the 3rd... could have a parent who is a writer by profession and passes that skill on to them..? ^^ Does this work for people? IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in 4th, but it is conjunct 5th house cusp. (So I guess you can class it as 5th). My parents aren't hugely artistic, but my dad told me his father could play anything on the piano. (He could just walk write up to it and play). My uncle/auntie and cousin are pretty musical as well, they do pantomimes. I can play bass guitar reasonably well and piano ok, but i haven't invested lots of time into music or any artistry yet. (Perhaps happens it's not only commitment with Saturn, but something that comes out as you get older)? Good ideas Odette!

I have been really thinking about this, Odette.
I want to write about how the 2nd House Saturn would play out, after I think a little more. It is really not a "classic" way. I never had material lacks. I had abundance, really. However, I have, always, been deeply afraid of lack. My mother used to make fun of me because I would have 6 of every food. If I found a pair of shoes I liked, I would get them in all colors, in case they ran out My mother would say that the stores are not going out of business ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? The thing about Saturn is that it COOLS what it touches. It contracts it, in a way, as Jupiter expands it. Think of your hands on a cold day without gloves. You kind of contract them into fists to keep them warm. Saturn is no picnic. It hurts because things hurt that are contracted and one tries to expand them. However, with Saturn, one will learn really needed life lessons, but it will not be through ease. I guess that is the point lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I will be very honest. I have made decisions favoring security and not favoring my soul. I was, probably, wrong but it is so hard to figure out life paths Maybe, the saturn house makes us too cautious. I think we could add that here. We go into the pool, one pat of cold water at a time. We are afraid to jump in. Jumping in feels too scary. I think about how I am with creative things( 5th house) I am not at ease, by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a place of comfort for me. It is a place I can challenge myself in a way that feels good. It is a comfy place for me. I think Saturn here would make the creative feel very hard like walking through mud. What do you all think? ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

But, regarding the ones you mentioned..Saturn in the 5th could become a professional artist and earn good money through their form of art. Any other placement in the 5th would not have the commitment for this... So actually Saturn in the 5th is one of the *most* likely placements to make a career out of art. ^ In a world where every second person wants to be famous, but so many don't make it... a 5th house Saturn could be a blessing in disguise But, as always - it would also depend on the sign it is in and how well it is aspected! Saturn in the 8th could be a psychologist... or sex-therapist? And Saturn in the 12th would feel a strong connection to God - They would have strong and unwavering faith. Believing in one's spiritual ideals with so much conviction, makes life easier in a sense.
I have no interest in psych whatsoever. Im not even taking it in undergrad, I'm taking anthropology instead.
I have no interest in becoming a sex therapist either. My libido is fine. I don't have issues around the subject of sex. I do feel i take it more seriously than a lot of people and so i don't behave in a promiscuous manner. I take emotional intimacy seriously also. people with fickle emotions confuse me. I kind of feel at this point like people who don't have the placement are projecting their own issues onto it but people certainly have they right to believe whatever they want or need to believe. As someone who has actually lived the placement for 34 years, i can say they're wrong. Im out. IP: Logged |

Here is the thing, SB, and everyone. You have to break the chart down for purposes of learning but each chart is VERY complex and takes me many days to do( just to highlight the complexity) Hence, someone has to remember that when we are breaking down the chart for purposes of learning. HOWEVER, each planet should fit into the House or there is something wrong imo Each person could vary in how they EXPERIENCE it( or people can be in denial and that happens a lot), however, it should fit, generally speaking imo ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology?
