Well it probably depends. In all three cases for me they had the same Sun sign. They pursued very strongly. There was no beating around the bush, cat and mouse or anything. Very direct and straightforward.
I can sense their more cautious side. The feeling out and sort of testing the waters. But for me particularly, with that Sun sign, that was how I've experienced them. So that's my point. There may be something with the synastry and/or that particular person that gives them a confusing nature. Then of course maybe they are just a not so nice person.

He's a Sag sun, Aqua moon, with lots of 5th house placements. Leo rising too. His Venus is in the 4th house IP: Logged |

I've had experience with a libra sun, two capricorns,a scorpio and a sagittarius with venus in scorpio and they all were very straightforward.
One of the capricorns was a lot more shy because he was heartbroken over another girl but the first time I met him he was really kissing my ass lol, he had a libra moon.
The other capricorn was not shy at all and was a bit too straightforward, he had a virgo moon.
The libra was more flirty and tamed lol, he had a capricorn moon.
And the sagittarius became obsessed with me really quickly and even admitted it, he had a libra moon. Im still with the sagittarius.
Oh and there was a scorpio with a scorpio venus and sagittarius moon who also was straightforward but I could tell it was because I was very straightforward with him.I'm a scorpio rising with venus in 8th house and cancer venus so scorpio venus's don't really practice restraint when they're around me THEY DO NOT PLAY GAMES

VENUS is uncomfortable in Scorpio. She's not as joyful and warm as she would be otherwise. It's like she's in a war zone, constantly dodging bombs and bullets, so you really need to earn her trust to get her to cautiously lower her iron walls.Like in all water signs, she feels deeply, and requires reaffirmations of love and loyalty fairly often, lest she begin to doubt. Sag sun/Scorpio Venus is a tough combination. The sun wants freedom and Venus wants total commitment. My son has this combination, he's just a teenager and already complaining about how conflicted his relationship interests are.

the sag sun with scorpio venus I am with was very judgmental and picky about what kind of girls he likes.
He was not even in a serious relationship ever before he met me, he just slept around.
It takes them a while to open up and it has to be with the right person.
Sagittarius unlike other sun signs with this venus is,i think, are the most likely to get attached quickly once they find a potential girlfriend/boyfriend.
Point is, once a venus in scorpio finds someone "good enough" for them, they cling on

SCORPIO VENUS DOES NOT PLAY GAMES. it doesn't f-ing matter what the sun or moon sign is. I've experienced and known so many, if they are only interesting in fooling around, they make it clear quote:

"I do that a lot to see if they're trying to make an effort. He either is boring and doesn't know what to say or waiting for her to start"

One of my best friends has been dating a Libra sun/Scorpio Venus for two years. He does play games. For instance he tells her he is fine with her doing something and then seethes about it. When she asks if he wants her to stop, he says No, she can do whatever she wants, he loves her. So....she does it again. And he gets irate again, freezing her out. I think it's conflict of Libra wanting to be fair and Venus wanting to be possessive but the difference between my experience and your friends may be in the synastry.
As well as the rest of the chart.
To some it may come across as games but it's really just an inner conflict within themselves. I must have the magic touch for Libra, Scorpio Venus. Two of my experiences had Capricorn and other earth/fire.

I have had two relationships with venus in Scorpio and my Venus is in Scorpio.I am no atrologer, but would say both men let me know very clearly that they liked and wanted me. One had Sun in Scorpio, Venus in Scorpio, Moon in Capricorn and he was very clear he wanted me BUT once he got me put me through a series of tests and pushing away. The other one had Sun in Taurus, Venus in Scorpio, Moon in Scorpio and he was absolutely steadfast and open in his pursuit of me. In terms of my own Venus placement, i would say I don't dither, and I know who and what I want and that is TOTAL commitment and immersion in another person, If I am dithering, I don't like the other person that much. That is not to say there is anything wrong with the person who I dont like - quite often I pick the underdog so don't take it personally. If I REALLY like someone, and this has probably happenned 3 times in my 38 years - then i can be absolutely horrible at the start of a relationship. I can dump people to shy from risk, I can test them, try to make them jealous, play mind games. Not proud, but i am testing to see if I am safe to give them my heart. Thank you for admitting that misspriss.I've seen other Scorpio Venus people do the same. @DopGang... I agree with you. Well his sun is conjunct her NN in Libra, and when she reverts to her Aries SN independence and free-spiritedness, the relationship suffers. He is her "school" of learning to put the relationship first. He doesn't teach with words...pretty sure he has Mercury in Scorpio, along with Mars and Jupiter...so he's almost too deep for her to track. Anyway. That's life in the jungle we call earth...
