8H Pisces.I'm scared of many things in life more than I am of death (and I fear my own death less than that of some others). I've accepted that I'm going to die (had the fact rubbed in my face more than once) and am at peace with that. I even, as an intellectual exercise, imagined how to kill myself if necessary, ways that would be most efficient, full proof, and (preferably, but not necessary) relatively clean and perhaps not letting others know I'd killed myself. I again stress that depression and such did not spark this, and I think life is pretty good and I'm necessary now so it won't happen, but just in case I like to be prepared for anything. Being killed or dying doesn't overly worry me, but rotting in a prison cell does, or being put in one of the many abusive hospices and "retirement homes" (which I think of as oubliettes to put people so you can forget about them), as just two all too possible things that could happen to me (and I'm not so naive as to think I'd have to do something really bad to be put in prison, all I have to be is in the wrong place at the wrong time, justice is a myth, and as for retirement homes, all I have to do is live long enough). I'm intrigued by the ideas of transhumanism which offer the possibility of potential immortality. I'd follow that if I could (with a bit of caution), and I'd love to live centuries and longer if I could stay healthy doing so, but if it was a process that revoked my ability to die (some kind of futuristic instant regeneration thing, for example) then I'd refuse it. The idea of not being able to die intensely horrifies me. IP: Logged |

Venus rules my 8th, not scared of it at all, plus I have Jupiter in 12th. I just see it as a natural part of life that you just have to accept.IP: Logged |

I have nothing in H8 but Pisces is the house ruler. I fear death for the aspect of abandoning my children before they are over 18. I don't want a court to determine who they will live with. I was married twice so they have different dads. Both fathers abandoned them and left the state when they were young, and neither are suited financially or mentally to raise a child. Hindsight is always 20/20. I also fear I will leave this place before reaching my goals, specifically owning a home and having the mortgage paid off. I always want my children to have a home, no matter what. Of course they have to pay property taxes but you get the idea. My fears basically center around not meeting their basic needs. I don't feel I have yet. ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

No, Taurus 8th house cusp - Venus in the 12th...I wonder if there is life after death though - is there really a soul? that never really fades/dies/ceases to exist??? hmmmm... EDIT!!! so wait if my 8th house cusp is in Taurus and Venus is in the 12th conjunct ASC does this mean I will die in a hospital, jail or any place of seclusion or "house of self undoing" I will deliberately cause my death? CAN the natal state how you may die???? IP: Logged |

I don't fear death, but I do fear dying in a really horrific way. I've always feared being murdered, drowning, or dying in a plane crash. I just don't want to be traumatized in my final moments. My 8th house cusp falls in the last degree of Virgo, with Libra intercepted. I have 5 planets in the 8th...Jupiter, Saturn and Venus, plus a Moon/Pluto conjunction. Plus Mercury(ruler of 8th), Sun, and Uranus in Scorpio. I accept death as a natural part of life, but I want to die at peace.I've had several near death experiences, where it seemed like I had a guardian angel looking over me. I also narrowly escaped being kidnapped when I was 9, and I feel that I would've ended up being killed if I had not gotten away. That is actually my absolute worst fear in life is to have a child that disappeared, never to be seen again. I can't imagine anything worse, aside from knowing that my child was murdered. My husband fears it and he has Neptune in the 8th sextile Pluto forming a YOD with CHIRON. Neptune in the 8th squares his Jupiter which rules his 8th, his Jupiter 8H ruler trines Chiron. He trembles when he thinks of death, he is truly scared of it. I don't fear it and my MOON rules my 8th, I use to fear my parents death when I was kid though and was a source of anxiety but outgrew that and see it as natural. Ofcourse fear of losing someone you are deeply attached to is there to some extent but so far I have dealt with death very well in my life. IP: Logged |

Only very loosely (a sextile with an 11 degree orb) and she actually hasn't got any planets in the 8th. I am curious though, I'll look more at her chart tomorrow IP: Logged |
