It was not boredom, you can't get bored of someone you don't know or have not experienced, feel me??

I dont think you read my posts but I get what you mean about Taurus/Gemini; this other dude I made out with but did not sleep with had sun in Taurus and Venus in gemini and he had a girlfriend he cheated on regularly but was Very committed to for many years..cancer girl.

He said he considered leaving her for me but would not sleep with me even though he had slept around on her a lot, that doesn't make sense unless sleeping with me would be meaningful and actually threatend his relationship so he didn't even though sleeping around on her was a common occurrence; he knew I wouldn't put up with cheating too, unlike her.

I had forgotten that one so I have liked 3 venus in Geminis lol and all are scared of sleeping with me and were very nice to me lol, what the hell...

No hard feelings but this only happens to me with this placement. They are afraid of me.

To meif a guy is screwing around on a chick while he's with her that's not commitment just because he wont dump her.

All it means is that he's acting single but has someone at home to clean up after him like live-in help.

And venus in gemini guys will pretty much say anything so declarations of devotion dont really count for much, im saying this from direct experience with a taurus sun venus in gemini.

I can sense another woman coming near my man from 10 miles away. Trust me, I never let my guard down!

Cancer Sun men are typically very faithful, and his Gemini Venus trines his Pluto, and his Aries Moon is opposite his Pluto. These aspects outweigh any tendency towards being flighty or needing any fresh, new experiences. Like me, he takes matters of the heart very seriously. They don't all get bored fast, he was my date to prom in 1999, and we didn't split until we were in our mid 30's. I still talk to him on a daily basis.

The person that you're referring to may not have Pluto or Saturn aspecting personal planets, so that might make his Gemini Venus(ruler of his Taurus planets) get bored when it comes to romantic relationships.

This idea that Pluto/Scorpio don't cheat needs to stop already, it's simply not true. My ex has sun in Scorpio with Venus conjunct pluto and he could never say no to me and cheated on his girlfriend with me many times after we broke up.

Further I have Venus and Mars in the 8th sextile pluto and my moon rules the 8th among other things and although I am overall faithful I have cheated bf.

My uncle with Venus in Scorpio is big cheater. This guy I was dating and caught ******* another girl was a Scorpio lol...I didn't care though.

So yes the ruler of desire known for secrets and intensity or thrill seeking is very capable of cheating and does cheat.

Anyone with a high sex drive and strong desire nature is capable of cheating no matter how 'plutonic' they are is just if you have a truly great sex life with who you are involved with you are likely to be faithful bc your needs are been met.

My husband is super faithful but he has a low sex drive and is more cerebral.

I can carry on a conversation too. I don't do casual flings either, if I let you inside of me it means we will be very meaningful and that it will not be a one nightstand and you will develop feelings for me.

I feel like you took many things that I said out of context. For one thing, I said that I liked the fact that my ex was not impressed by attractive airheads. I wasn't suggesting that's why this guy didn't persue you. I will say that my ex and I never even kissed until he admitted to being in love with me. This was nearly a year after becoming friends, and spending countless nights talking outside until the sun came up. That's why he fell for me, because we could talk(and still can) for over 8 hours straight, and always make each other laugh or have something interesting to say. The only other person I can gab on for hours like that with is my mom.

Also, I attributed his ridiculously high standards when it comes to looks on his Virgo Mars and Aries Moon right on his DC. I think Virgo Mars is attracted to perfection(or their version of it), and I've read many descriptions of Aries placements liking a fit woman. These are both true in his case, and I wasn't saying that was a Gemini Venus trait. Quite the contrary, I think Gemini Venus is more attracted to a woman that feels like a best friend. That's the way to their heart in my experience.

You mentioned that the most recent guy was a Cancer Sun. Having spent so many years with a Cancer Sun man I can tell you that they value security, and these men are very unlikely to have a fling, especially with a married woman. That's really all you needed to look at, and you could probably disregard his other placements. Cancer men fear getting hurt, because they are more sensitive than your average man. I'm a Scorpio and I would never cheat on or with anyone!!! Water Suns in general value the emotional connection above all else, so a Cancer man is not going to be interested in sleeping with a married woman. Sex has to have emotions involved, they aren't into flings or sex just for the sake of it. Any sexual act that doesn't have long term potential is a fling, even if it's more than a one night stand. If you're married you can't invest in them emotionally so they won't let their guard down to you.

There may be exceptions based on other planetary aspects and house placements. But in general a Cancer Sun is going to outweigh a Gemini Venus placement when it comes to his approach to relationships.

Very well said, thanks for elaborating. Sounds like you had a great thing with your ex, it's nice you are still friends. Do you think you two will get back?

BTW again thanks, this was super helpful.

Lol he did love her and was committed to her and I do belief he reflected briefly about us and flirted for a few days in his head or for an hour lol or somewhere in between with the idea of leaving her for me and I completely respect he didn't, they had like an 8 year history so I get his decision.

We would have not worked long term anyways...

I speak from my own experiences. I know my own life and feelings better than anyone. I spent many years THINKING about another man, and the guilt that I felt over that made me sick, literally. I wouldn't even speak to him while alone because that felt like cheating to me. Yes some Scorpios can cheat, I know of a few that have. BUT when they truly love a person they would rather die than betray them by cheating. A Scorpio's absolute worst fear is being betrayed by someone they love. If they were to actually betray the person they love, it would destroy them from within! I may be an extreme case because I'm a Scorpio Sun, Mercury and Uranus(Aqua AC). In addition to having Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus conjunct, plus a 1* Moon/Pluto conjunction all in the 8th house. Also a Mars/Neptune conjunction sextile Moon and Pluto. Every single planet in my chart is either in the 8th, in Scorpio, or aspects my Moon/Pluto conjunction. True, I'm not your typical Scorpio Sun.

Actually I was born a few weeks before your ex. Sorry to say this but if he cheated on his ex with you then he wasn't in love with either of you.

He was in love with me lol. I am sorry but don't ever assume something like that for someone else you don't even know. He was very in love with me but I broke his heart.

That all or nothing black and white thinking is very problematic, thank God I can see the complexity of love/life and people and all the shades in between.

If there is one thing I know for sure is that he was madly in love with me and that I still haunt him.

I'm not trying to be rude hypatia, but it seems like you are haunted by him. That's how I know his chart, because you talk about him often, and I've noticed he has similar placements to me. I know that people are different and I even had an astrotwin friend, born the exact same day as me that was kind of slutty. She definitely didn't have an 8th house stellium, maybe hers all fell in the 5th .

Why wouldn't he leave his girlfriend for you if he was so in love with you? He obviously wasn't madly in love with her if he was cheating, or with you if he stayed with her. Were you already married at that time? I've wondered about that, because you seem very hung up on him. Again, I'm not trying to be rude. I'm clearly hung up on my ex, with no escape in sight. So no judgement here.

Moon/Venus in Gemini 1st/2nd

I tend to only leave a relationship or the beginning of one if they aren't equally or moreso interested or withholding information. I am not interested in half-a** relationships, open relationships or anything that involves this new "talking" phrase before people decide whether or not recognize you are casually dating. As a Venus Gemini attraction for us it isn't simply I am physically or sexually attracted to them therefore that overrides everything else. Nor are we wow the chemistry is so intense nothing else matters types of people. Intellectual simulation takes the first and foremost critique. We can get bored with routine but another person's idea of chaos, spontaneity and/or randomness is actually our routine. Another person has be able to catch up with us mentally, be a curious person, a witty person, a funny person, be a dynamic person etc. Romance for us is playful, sometimes were just looking for that one or two people that look at us like were magic. We want someone who looks at us the way we are fascinated with the world/stimulated with the world.

I broke up with him and moved to another country a week after and with that decision broke his heart, he eventually got with someone new to try to get over me and naturally did not leave me for her after breaking his heart and trust and me leaving off for close to a year to another country.

By the time he left her and wanted to get back I was about to get married, this was many years later and it was to late...

Also he has said things to me that clearly indicate he is haunted but yes so am I, it's mutual.

If there is something I am sure of in this life is that he was in love with me and that even though 'we are over each other' neither of us have ever fully stopped loving each other or thinking of each other and never completely will.

Interesting, thanks great input. My husband fits that description and he has sidereal moon in Gemini. Psyche in Gemini and mercury conjunct Eros.

I would like to add that I have moon in the 3rd, DC in Gemini and mercury in Virgo square northnode in Gemini.

Also I have Draco mercury Venus and Mars in Gemini.

The cancer guy stayed away bc I was married and the Gemini guy he was studying for his boards and did not want distractions, when I reached him a year later randomly after he was done with his board exams he was interested but I was no longer interested or emotionally available to anyone at that point.

Taurus guy was already involved.

Also if my husband and I were to split right now I would be hung up on him till I die too. I would miss him and think of him often bc once I truly love someone I carry that person in my heart always. I am hung up with MrAqua too then...

Also I talk a lot about my ex bc I have to refer back to his chart, our synastry and composite a lot here since its an astrological forum and we have a great synastry and composite and Davison, outside of here I don't talk about him at all.

This placement is so stressful to me - ugh! Why do people that have this Venus have to be so disgustingly charming yet unattainable as hell? A guy I know with this placement literally said "I can't be in a relationship for longer for 6 months". So depressing to think about.

Don't quote, PLEASE

I was with a Venus in Gemini for quite a few years. It's hard to say what exactly led to the relationship failing. Certainly they became bored. That's not questionable and directly led to the end.
However, I definitely can't say that I was innocent or didn't contribute to her becoming bored.

It is what it is! S**t happens and you move on.

Awww, thank you. I know that many people don't experience love like that in their lifetime, so I am very grateful to have him in my life. Sometimes I wish that we met when we were older and more mature. I think we both took each other for granted, but I'm glad that we're still close.

It sometimes bugs me when so much is weighed on one placement alone! The chart as a whole would need to be assessed before concluding that a single placement is responsible for infidelity or a lack of interest. As a gemini venus, I can say I personally have been in my current relationship since I was 15...I am now 30! Never cheated on him! There hasn't been a loss of interest until recently...and really it's not a loss of interest, but the realization that our goals are diverting in separate directions. I am on a spiritual journey and he is working on the material plane in this incarnation. Communication is key to a gemini venus...we thrive on it. I need mental stimulus daily, and not everyone is able to fill this need. We prefer a fun, easy going partner..one that feels more like you're dating your best friend than a "lover". In some cases, depending on aspects and other placements, a sultry flirting scorpio style or heavy venus can make a gemini venus head for the hills at lightning speed, lol. But that's b/c we have this knack for keeping our emotions and relationships separate...we're those "don't bring your work home with you!" sort of folks. It takes a very near and dear person...that we solidly trust, to convince us to let our emotions merge within a relationship...and still most gemini venuses will never let that person in on everything they feel inside...it's as if we want a piece of us, even the smallest piece, to remain sacred to us! and still 15 years later, and I don't allow myself to be completely vulnerable.

We don't like routine either! Get creative and surprise us with someplace new... I love when my husband thinks of a new date idea! The same resturaunt every friday night is like torture to a gemini venus. And really we like simple dates...hell, my favorite is when my husband comes home on a date night and has the kids arrangements made and is rigging our fishing poles b/c he found a new spot on the river! Very simple, mostly low maintenance. And I don't know how it is for other gemini venuses, but I personally know if I like you or not just by your voice. I like unique voices, calm and breezy...one where you're in a crowded room and hear it and immmediately know who it belongs to, lol. If I find your voice irritating...I feel like I'm dying a painful death listening to you and MY communication becomes very short, to the point, and sometimes unintentionally blunt. I want to end the convo as fast as I can! Sounds shallow, and maybe it is a little to a gemini void, but remember that a gemini venus operates with a mercury flavor! We analyze everything before we make a move...so maybe we let opportunities pass at times while we're lost in thought. And as for sex, heavy and deep scares us at first, once in an established relationship, not so much. We want a playful romp in the sheets most of the time! I can do deep, but playful ALWAYS energizes me! I feel great afterwards...like renewed energy fills me to the core. We realize we're not everyone's cup of tea, but hey, I'd rather be someone's shot of wiskey

I kept attracting people who were afraid of commitment until I realized that this was the case bc I was the one that was really afraid of it but it was not socially acceptable as a woman for me to play out that role so I attracted it in partners I would get interested in, until I realized this then that changed.

Hmm..very interesting. The last 2 guys were afraid of commitment while they expressed to me that they still wanted me to be in their lives. And of course, I tried to make it work and try to get closer to commitment, but of course it didn't work. Just recently I learned my lesson, that you can't force things esp if they've clearly stated their (different) intentions. It's weird bc I'm really for commitment but I've been attracting guys who aren't....Hmm..a subconscious thing maybe? I am a fairly independent person as well and appreciate silence and being alone, but when it comes to relationships I definitely prefer commitment.

I also have Venus in Gemini in the 8th house. Mars in the 8th house as well but in Cancer.

Venus in gemin gal here!

I have never been promiscuous. Very low numbers in that department, but I love love. Lol. I love variety. I get bored easily in relationships and HATE commitment of any kind. I'm a free spirit in every sense of the word. But, as sexual as I may feel, I hardly ever act On it.
