You are Pisces? *sigh* Pisces and I...the never ending saga of confusion (see http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/233903-3.html) my Pisces Hate/Love is the last post at the bottom. I've probably seen your placements before but forgot. Anyway, as for the nasty stevia thing my gemini moon/mars just wanted to say something other than "as sweet as pie" or "honey" or something common. Now stevia...that's known as the sweetest thing in the world, so I found a way to make it even more sweet....creepily sweet Ok, my scorpio asc is showing. Carry on. IP: Logged |

Ahahaha! I recall stevia having a *slightly* bitter aftertaste, so I was like "eh...thanks?" Maybe that's just after it's been processed or something. I've read about your Pisces dilemmas, and I will definitely give you credit for your honesty and objectivity. That's more than most of us can muster (regardless of sign). And, if it makes you feel better, when I find out in real life that people are Pisces Suns, I'm usually horrified because they are almost always the most grating, infuriating people I meet. I'm not sure what my deal is with that, but LL Pisces folk seem pleasant enough. NOW I get the reference with the steevia (thank you). IP: Logged |

You know, you are right, the Pisces folk on LL seem very nice, adorable even lol. Yep, Stevia Rebaudiana is supposed to be 300 times sweeter than sugar, so I was like "aha, what could possibly be sweeter than honey covered stevia?" lol but I guess when processed into marketed brands something makes it slightly bitter. Oh dear, that did sort of ruin my compliment Now Gemini moon has to go research why the bitterness comes lol UPDATE: Oh wow I am sooo off topic but apparently the bitterness is a result of an extraction process from the stevia plant from which the active compounds rebaudioside and stevioside are extracted and isolated. This method requires TONS of processing and basically destroys the plant and any benefits by the time it is packaged. The pure untouched leaf it what has no bitterness and is healthy. Can't believe they would sell such a hazard to people quote: Originally posted by Violets: Ahahaha! I recall stevia having a *slightly* bitter aftertaste, so I was like "eh...thanks?" It's funny how much Gemini Moons and Virgo Moons can have in common sometimes. I thought I remembered reading about the process involved with stevia, and I've used it before as a sugar substitute. After reading about all of that, I figured it would be better to use honey, raw sugar, or nothing at all. But how fitting for Mercury Rx that a compliment would cause confusion.

I don't like stevia, either. I do like the little segways threads take. And, thanks to the little red line under my word, that is usually reserved for my mostly British spelling, I've just learned that I should have used the word "segue" instead. http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/22012/has-segway-become-an-acceptable-substitute-for-segue IP: Logged |

Lol, I would have thought segway as well. And I'm such a jerk about proper spelling (not about English vs American spelling, though, that doesn't bother me). Elysia and Gracha... IP: Logged |

Oh that's right Mercury is Rx, this all makes sense now lol. Yes Virgo & Gemini moons are very similar, my first love had Virgo moon. He was like a living breathing encyclopedia and of course my Gem Moon/Mars (and Virgo Mid.) found that irresistible. I've decided Honey or Cane Sugar is best at this point. The few times I've had processed Stevia were scary lol I just knew about natural Stevia being ultra-sweet from books.
