I was pondering that earlier today, and my vote is for Virgo. IP: Logged |

My intuition points to Virgo as well. Maybe it has been too long and Virgo has been not well defined because of the lack of a proper ruling planet. Mercury does not seem like the perfect choice - just a little too airy-fairy for grounded Virgo. Just my thoughts. Can't wait for the first image & further discoveries about this planet. IP: Logged |

"The orbit itself is so long that it would take Planet Nine between 10,000 and 20,000 years to complete one trip around the sun." 1,250 +/- years to transit a sign..? IP: Logged |

I like the significance of the Nine --- numerology. This is also a "Nine" year! quote: Text, Joanne Walmsley http://numerology-thenumbersandtheirmeanings.blogspot.com/2011/05/number-9.html Number 9 is the number of Universal love, eternity, faith, Universal Spiritual Laws, the concept of karma, spiritual enlightenment, spiritual awakening, service to humanity, humanitarianism and the humanitarian, lightworking and lightworkers, leading by positive example, philanthropy and the philanthropist, charity, self-sacrifice, selflessness, destiny, life purpose and soul mission, generosity, a a higher perspective, romance, inner-strength, public relations, responsibility, intuition, strength of character. ... What if it's Nibiru? If it exists it should be nearing visibility without aid. A perfect time to "discover" and announce a new planet to explain it's presence without frightening people with the revelation of Nibiru?

They have not yet photographed this planet albeit they have found the orbit for the planet which is different from the behaviour of the other planets in the solar system. A lot more elongated. One of the 2 researchers who made the discovery is the guy (Mike Brown, if I'm not wrong) who killed Pluto's planet status a couple of years ago.

A planet that we will never understand, we barely know how Neptune works. We are not ready for this planet and its symbolism..."What makes this planet so unique is that it has a highly elongated orbit that “faces” a different direction than every other planet in our solar system." So in essence the planet turns its back to us and looks at us as unworthy. Makes sense. If anything the planet will represent everything we can never understand because of our puny consciousness. Is it Nibiru/Planet x? The fabled planet of our creators the Annunaki ...Be interesting if it is. It's what was written about on the sumerian tablets that Zecharia Stitchen translated... I used to think Nibiru was the brain in the birth chart lol, though now i've learnt that thats the Orion Nebula ------------------ Correlations of ancient astronomy and astrology. IP: Logged |

I think thats because it's from the tyler system, and orbits around Sirius and not our Sun. It's apparently the planet that caused the cataclysm that created the asteroid belt from Marduk, and also caused the great flood that destroyed atlantis ...

It would be great for Virgos to have their own exclusive ruling planet, but I don't think this one is it. Nothing about it is suggestive of Virgoan qualities. Virgo tends to be self-restrained. Virgos are about small details, taking things apart, service, being content to remain in the background, being content with being small etc... That's why most Virgos are on the thin side. Well, this newly discovered planet is GIGANTIC. It's so large, that " it would be the fifth-largest planet in our solar system." Other characteristics of this planet: its orbit faces a different direction than every other planet in our solar system, and the orbit is soooooo long it would take between 10,000 and 20,000 years to complete 1 trip around the Sun!!! What's Virgoan about the above? Nothing! In order for a planet to rule a sign, it has to make sense. The planet has to fit that sign like a designer dress fits a top model. IP: Logged |

The discovery of a new planet! We are living in exciting times! A new planet means that there is another facet of our collective psyche that will be unvealed to us. though it will take a few decades before astrologers figure out its meaning. ETA: Understanding a new planet requires understanding the symbolism behind its physical appearance and characteristics, understanding the symbolism behind its name, as well as being able to understand the events that significantly impacted the world around the time of its discovery. That's the way it's been done for Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. I actually think that the name that will be given this planet will tell us about half of what we need to know. IP: Logged |

A possible planet that is dark, outer, hidden, unseen, yet is inferred to exist because of its gravitational influence on other objects sounds very Scorpio to me! IP: Logged |

Leaving Pluto open for rulership of Virgo. Interesting. People always bring up Virgo's tendency toward criticism, but they rarely say that the reason they do it is to try to change things for the better. Or what they think is better Pluto is petite and precise. Making its slow journey through the sky, meticulously going over and back over things to influence the change in them through every part of the natal. Hmm.. Maybe the darkness associated with Pluto was only because it was linked to Scorpio? This is all just speculation. I don't really believe this planet is part of our local system. It doesn't make sense for it to be outside the Kuiper Belt and orbiting our Sun, backwards. IP: Logged |

I don't think Pluto and Virgo really have much in common? Pluto and Charon are mythologically the gate keeper and ruler of the underworld. Virgo would more be associated with Vulcan, inside Mercury..? ------------------ Correlations of ancient astronomy and astrology. IP: Logged |
