Actually... I am a really aggressive and authoritative communicator in real life. I'm the effin boss. Lol. Seriously. It's not uncommon for my family members to say (under their breath), "you're not always right"

Wanna know what I hear them saying? I'm right 98% of the time. Good enough for me.

Lol. Faith are you sure Jup isn't just making my Merc expression worse?

This is the thing. If I'm not responsible for you or a project or work I'm so cool. I'm the fun girl/party chic. However, if my name is attached to a piece of work or project I take seriously, I'll be damned if I am going to sit idly by and let someone screw it up with my name attached

Where my family is concerned, I came from a broken home and got married early. I am also my mother's oldest. I grew up looking out for my mom, and my mother even depended on me to make decisions or make things right. To put it simply I was born into a role of responsibility and authority, and I've held the reigns until my brother grew up and got married, and my parents grew up and reconciled.

Whether it's my Western Mercury in Leo or Vedic Mercury in Cancer (which happens to have one of the worst reputations because of the Nakshatra), or Vedic Aries Moon; when it comes to this reality $hit , my adult family members and colleagues love and hate me. But really they love me more

eta: I tell my brother I know he went to law school just so he might have a fair chance at winning an argument with me

Lol. I can imagine Faith, DopGang, and Dreaminess all giving me the stinky eye.

Interestingly I have a very different approach with my children. They are like partners...

Ok, so to the original question. I have a hard time with Cancer Mars in men (ETA: but I guess it's a matter of incompatibility). I just want to get tangled up and have dirty sex with Cancer Mars, the way only we Cancers can. But I'm too loud, and untraditional. I don't play right, I don't play nice. They turn on me. I feel like they attack me from behind or something..and not in the fun way.

I love water moons to death. I just can't work with them. Again I am too aggressive, impatient etc. There are plenty of water Moons I consider wiser and more capable than myself, and I would still not work with them. I know the frenzy I get into when I work would ruin our relationship and I would feel like such a loser.

Correction:

Cancer Asc
Aries Moon
Taurus Mars

Pisces Sun..
hands down.
always a female too... i just dont get it! ive tried but they always irk me, they try to dominate me and i just laugh them off because they think they can get away with it. Like NOPE... you cannot control this Cappy Moon + Scorpio Pluto conjunct 7th. get real.

also, they are too sensitive and make me look like a monster in comparison because im straight forward and no nonsense.
ive learned my lesson indeed.

It's not that serious fam. You'll never see it if you try too hard lol. Their thing is they feel and react like any other normal person but they won't show that reaction. If you just listened to them with your intuition more and your mind / thoughts less you'd get it.

I have mixed feelings about Scorpio placements. On one hand, a lot of people I love and care for have strong Scorpio placements and I think there is something about them that appeals to my Pisces sun. On the other hand, I find them to be negative, paranoid (sometimes to the point of delusion), and at times cruel. They act like the world is out to get them and it's kinda sad.

Hehehe I love that I dissed your Mercury and you make it sound like my moon is incompetent. Now we're equal!

Mars conjunct Mars...that's how it should be.

Ok *fist bump* cuz I Lu you, but water moons aren't incompetent!

Example:

My son's gavel club mentor who is a water moon trained at Oxford. Wanna talk about articulate and refined? She wants me to help her in some way. I'm not sure how. I'm scared to. I'm scared that when I feel things aren't going the way they should for some reason and I want to act now, and she says we should wait or take a different course of action, I'll feel my face getting hot like it does. I'll start breathing heavy, pacing and talking to myself like a maniac in order to stay myself...

I admire her ability to sit quietly and patiently while someone (another organizer) is rude or condescending, and then calmly, gently deliver a rebuttal. She looks passive in a moment I see her being attacked. I'm ready to draw blood, and the minutes go by...she waits...

I can't work in partnership with her.

But! You know what? I am willing to work for her. If I relinquish all responsibility except to do what I'm told, I can calm down and actually learn something. I'm seriously not willing to work as a subordinate to many, but this water moon might have me. This is the same reason I'm fascinated with Kris Jenner.

ETA a bunch of times

Aw! You don't sound like a scared old lady You sound awesome.

I hear you, about water moons.

As a Pisces moon I hate to delegate. I was asked to be the art director for my kids' group's play, and I tried to be as democratic as possible, which p*ssed off some parents who wanted things done NOW. Well hey, it takes time to work up to Pisces, we have to ask alllllll the members of the zodiac how they want everything to look. But after all that surveying was done, THEN we could work, because I knew a lot of people were on board, willing and happy to carry out their design. And the time we "wasted" (?) at the beginning, I compensated for at the end, with work marathons, with the people who most WANTED to be there. So. It got done. The Cap-Pisces way.

My critics would have sacrificed democracy for efficiency and order, and that is very cool, too...but with an art project?? Please.

Good luck with this project, I think your concerns make perfect sense (what with your ARIES moon and all!) and it's interesting to read about...you're always interesting.

Must be the...uh...AWESOME Leo Mercury.*

*Aspected by a ton of planets, on the ASC, not your usual crappy Leo Mercury.

Just kidding!! Honestly, I regret ever complaining about that placement here, I overstated my case.

*Oh and keep editing all you like, posts can be kaleidoscopes, nobody ever said they have to remain static. It would be discriminating against mutables.

See how flexible you are? I understand the power in that. Or benefit. Everything's about power for me these days.

I know that my aggressive get 'er done style comes from some kind of childhood trauma that triggers a fight or fight reaction when things seem to go wrong or I feel threatened or challenged. But life has changed, and I know I need to change too.

So nice for me you find crazy people interesting lol.

You're right. I'm not old yet, but I am scared of a lot of random things, like being misunderstood 😌 lol.

I really didn't think your comments about Mercury in Leo were too much. I mean, I have put my family through hell and I know it...hahaha but it was for their own damn good!!! Rawrrr!!

Sometimes, they desperately want you to know it. They're just unable sometimes to give voice to it. Those are the frustrating times. You (I) know that it would help if they just let it out, but they can't.

I don't really feel comfortable with retrograde personal planets, specially Venus. There are exceptions to this... but often the planet is expressed in a way that is just peculiar - not good nor bad - just "wth"
I still like these people though. It's not a matter of not liking them. It's just that I feel a bit like I can't count on them in whatever area the planet rules - because they are unpredictable and erratic - and not always honest/upfront when it comes to those particular matters.

Tell me abut the other Retros, in your opinion, because I value it a lot, Odette.

Aries Sun/Ascendant make me laugh for some reason. They always try to see if they can dominate or push around my cappy moon/scorpio sun self. It seems like they want to put up a fight with me more than being my friend. Plus they always have something to say.

Btw this is just my opinion and experiences with these influences in a chart you might have a different experience with them

I'm not going to get into a fight, but I do take things like this personally - even though I know a lot of people in the world have no idea what a Gemini Moon or Venus is.

I also have them square Mars in Pisces. And I think the mutable nature softens my reactions, unless I'm just getting absolutely pelted by life (people).

I've only met one Leo Mercury. He's so ridiculously sweet and always very agreeable. His speeches at work are hilarious even when the topics are dull. Of course, he has a lot of Cancer in his chart, so maybe this mitigates the bossiness of the Leo Mercury.

An aspect I cannot stand is moon opposite neptune. Way too manipulative and dishonest. The sad thing is they believe their own BS.

Scorpio suns and moons are great! However, I'm wary of venus in scorpios. They have always betrayed me in the past. I just can't trust them.

I've learned I cannot be close friends with Sag sun females. They have been surprisingly deceitful...at least towards me. Their sun falls in my 12th house so maybe that's the problem? However, I get along perfectly wth Sag sun males.

When I was younger, I had problems with three different Gemini women, starting with my grandmother. I have Moon/Venus conjunct my South Node in Gemini, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

In recent years, it's been one Leo woman, and a couple of Capricorn women - one being my sister. But I don't want to offend anyone like Faith, so I will resist going into one of my huge angry/depressing rants about them. The second woman was fine with me occasionally, but for the most part, two years ago, she seemed to both look down on me, and resent me - just like my sister - and I felt like it was because I'm an Aries. That **** drives me nuts, when someone is really nasty with it. They get caught behind their own assumptions about a sign, rather than paying attention to the actual person, and then act on them as though they're right.

So I couldn't resist a mini rant. But it isn't directed at anyone here.

Sorry that you did that but this has been my experience every time with these influences in a chart so my view of them is not pretty unfortunately.

Taurus women with Venus or Mars in Aries.
Or other Aries aspects.

There already stubborn to begin with, but with the Aries added in there pretty much a "stubborn loose cannon". They can easily flare up over nothing and don't forget about the stubbornness.

But when they don't flare up there as sweet as apple pie
