Since I started to get interested in Astrology many years ago, I wondered how my Plutonian life could be seen through my Natal chart. At that time, my idea was that only people with a lot planets in Scorpio/8H could be considered Plutonian. Only years later I could understand that the thing is way more complex. I found that article by Donna Cunningham (link below) on the subject very interesting. My score was 61. I guess that explains a lot about my personality and life experience.https://skywriter.wordpress.com/2010/01/16/how-strong-is-your-pluto-here’s-the-score/ I wonder how Plutonian you guys are... The link doesn't work I took the test just a while ago, but I wanted to do it again! I remember I scored relatively high (given that I have only one natal planet in scorpio, jupiter), but I don't remember how much! Definitely under than you though lol It was interesting, yes, I' ll try again to find the link
edit : maybe this is it? http://skywriter.wordpress.com/2010/01/16/how-strong-is-your-pluto-here%E2%80%99s-the-score/
I don't know, since you saw the original that you posted, you will be able to see if this is the same IP: Logged |

Hi, mar1982deltaYes, it's the same. I just don't understand why it didn't work. I opened it normally but I reposted it again in the previous post. Thank you, anyways. I only have 2 planets in Scorpio/8th house but Pluto hits several of my personal planets and both angle axes are tightly aspected by Pluto. IP: Logged |

It wasn't a big thing, you're welcome! It seemed weird to me, too. Could you maybe share some of your personal experience since you don't have many planets in scorpio, too? I just try to understand this aspect of my character that came up a little more, I guess. And maybe if you could tell me the aspects with Pluto, too? I have Pluto sq. Sun, but wide, 6 orb. Pluto square Mercury, 4 orb Pluto sq. Asc/Dsc, 4 orb and the "dreadful" mars conj Pluto, 0 09' orb lol I am gonna take the test now again, I forgot, lol Thank you very much
p.s. I guess the score is about 48 or so. I am not sure I understand correctly this option "Stellium Planets: Lead planet (first in series) or Alpha Dog", but since I have no stellium in scorpio or 8th house, I hope I answered it right, lol

At least 50 for me (I say at least because I'm a beginner and am not sure about including grand trines and such, so I excluded that). Not sure how accurate this is though, but I do feel plutonian much of the time.IP: Logged |

Mine was about 60 last time I took the test. It's fun, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I feel like any Scorpio sun, moon, or ASC will be more Plutonian than me, regardless of the rest of their chart. IP: Logged |

Hi Faith! Good point, I don't think me either can be compared to a scorpio, lol! But maybe this adds some extra layer of someone's character that could not be explained with their natal planets only? Not sure IP: Logged |

Hi, mar1982deltaI have Pluto aspecting my Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter, also square my AC and exact conjunct my IC, and Pluto forms a grand trine with my 8th house Mercury and Mars (in fact, the grand trine is part of a kite in my chart). It's hard to find detailed information on kites but I've seen that Kurt Cobain had one in his natal chart. Also some of those planets are part of a mystical rectangle. My childhood was marked by sudden, deep transformations (a very hostile divorce between my parents and paranormal events). Since I was 12 yrs old, I've been very interested in Occultism/Metaphysics (tarot, magic, numerology, astrology, spiritual healing). I don't trust people easily in close/intimate relationships. I also need depth in my connections and have a very investigative personality. I'm a person with a strong passionate nature and high sexual drive but sex feels like a spiritual experience, so I don't go for casual encounters. All my relationships were very transformative, they made me face unconscious fears, which brought me a lot of pain but also taught me a lot about myself. IP: Logged |

I think aspects modify placements a lot. For example, I've read a lot of descriptions about how Mars in Gemini is a player in sexual/love matters and also a loud mouth, and I'm not like that at all, lol, maybe because my Mars is retrograde in the 12th in a close trine to Pluto. Sometimes I wish I was like that ... life would be way lighter. When I get attached to someone, I have a hard time to get over it. Another thing is that I need to be passionately involved with my goals, otherwise I move on when there are many obstacles to achieve them. I think there are things that operate in a hidden dimension of a chart like parallels and contra parallels (that were widely used as a major aspect in ancient astrology) decans and the duad system. I delineated them in my natal chart and I thought they added a lot of information that I couldn't relate to the regular placements and aspects. The duad system is often used in Vedic Astrology but many Western astrologers are using them as well. Alice Portman is a well known astrologer who uses them in her consultations. Applying those concepts while I was studying my chart and other people's I know, explained a lot of things I couldn't really see somewhere else. I'm leaving a few links here: http://aliceportman.com/calculating-duad-and-dwad-charts/ http://aliceportman.com/190/ http://aliceportman.com/duads-duad-charts-show-the-differences-between-twins/ IP: Logged |

Not that much, I scored 44. I thought I would be more of a Plutonian though. It's unfair you can't count progressions too. Right now I have several personal planets progressed in Scorpio.IP: Logged |

Yes, progressions are not considered 'cause they are not natural and long term tendencies like those that are part of our natal charts. Of course we change over time but our natal's configurations will always be our comfort zone. That's why when we try to move contrarily to the direction strongly pointed by our natal tendencies, many astrologers consider that as "rebellion against our chart". I don't agree with that. I think we always should try to work on our difficulties and things we lack even if it means to leave the comfort zone. IP: Logged |

Hi Mar Hmmmm come to think of it, I relate to Rose's post a lot: quote: Originally posted by roseelima16: Hi, mar1982deltaI have Pluto aspecting my Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter, also square my AC and exact conjunct my IC, and it's part of a grande trine with my 8th house Mercury and Mars. Actually a lot of death in my young life, then interest in the occult/paranormal (contact with relatives from the other side). ^^ 8H moon trine 4H Scorpio NN, 4H Scorpio Uranus; sun square Pluto...and other stuff. Actually I made a thread about some weird death trends in my life, if anyone is interested in reading something morbid: Question for 8H moon people, about death I take it all for granted because I'm used to being this way...I feel like I could be so much more Plutonian, because life could have been even harder. @Faith Yes, I relate to roseelima16's post very much, too, but I didn't tell earlier, because I felt my connections were poor since death luckily was not involved in the conscept. I don't know if I could handle it well..I am really sorry for both of you. But, as for the other things.. interest for the occult/paranormal, yes, absolutely, since I was a kid! Actually this seems funny to me now because some days ago I "announced" to my parents that I am "officially" involved in astrology and I was a bit terrified beforehand for their reaction, as they are pretty logic-oriented both. But as this has turned out a very important interest of mine and I don't intend to change my mind, lol, I found the "courage" to tell them anyway. But what struck me was their reaction! They said "you always were involved with astrology" as if they were saying "what's new about it?" lol So, this got me thinking..! I don't trust easily, deeply trust I mean. As for investigations, I secretly hoped that I could be a detective or something, lol, maybe in another lifetime! High sexual drive but no casual encounters..ehmm...yesss passionate nature I think so lol So maybe this test doesn't make you a scorpio or anything, it simply indicates that Pluto is actually a lot more in your life than you thought it was.. I forgot to mention earlier that I also have saturn in 8th and MC scorpio, so maybe they are more important than the other aspects, I don't really know

Thanks roseelima16 for the links! I actually fell on dwads/duads recently and I did a little investigation in them, but I was a bit confused afterwards, I don't resonate so much to them, it is a rather advanced field for me since I am still a beginner. I'll look into them again in the future though! They are interesting and seem valid

I got 38 and apparently anything above 30 is very strong. What's a minor aspect? If sextile is considered a minor aspect then I'm 40. Strange, I never considered myself to be plutonian, but I'm pretty lightweight compared to you guys. Edit: Had to recalculate a bit. IP: Logged |

Well that sounds super intense. :-/ Are you coping okay? @Mar Good for you, telling your parents Yeah, I hate talking to people about astrology unless I know them well. But it's the kinda thing where, I shy away from society a bit because I feel like this is a skeleton in my closet. To me it's perfectly normal and scientific and rational. To others it's...well, nobody needs me to teach them that. Proud of you though (high five from my sun to your SN) for being candid about it. We all have to come out of the astro-closet...maybe then we'll learn just about everyone has been hiding the same secret? I wish... IP: Logged |

My score is 77. I have an eight house pluto in scorpio: - Conjunct North Node - Opposite Mars - Quincuns Sun - Trine Venus - Sextile Moon, Uranus, Neptune - Semi-sextile MC It is also involved in a: - Yod - Wedge - Craddle I have Jupiter (chart co-ruler) in eight house and in scorpio, not conjunct Pluto/N.Node however. That's alot of Pluto... although my moon outshine pluto at an astounding 92 points while Neptune is just behind at 76. If that's not busy water...

Oh Faith, funny that you mentioned about that...not telling people about astrology! It's just sth that I wanted to ask you some time now, unbelievable, huh? 1) "To me it's perfectly normal and scientific and rational. " I TOTALLY aggree! In fact this might lead me to actually tell people about these, because I simply can't imagine how they wouldn't also believe in astrology in case someone (me ) told them! I mean of course friends, close relatives or some pleasant acquantainces lol But then again I think maybe I shouldn't actually tell people... It may cause more problems than hiding it does.. So, I have not decided yet and that's why I thought I should ask you! 2) "everyone has been hiding the same secret? I wish..." I wish, too!!!
Thank you for the high five lol, as I already said, their reaction was unexpected! I think I may turn my father to an astro-believer too! I think it is IN him lol (cap sun too IP: Logged | |
