If someone were to come to me and say "Hey whats your sign"?

I will simply look at that person and say "All of them".

I think it has been pre-planned by mainstream astrologers for us to become too attached to one sign, planet, or house. Which will then make astrology more "marketable" because you're feeding into peoples emotions and expectations.

Yes I am aware that in our charts a part of those aspects resonate with us more.

I STILL believe that the North Node and the Angles (particularly the MC/IC) are the most important placements in ones chart. And I still believe that 90 percent of who we are can be found from those 2 placements alone.

But i believe the attachment we have towards our "sign" is what becomes one of the biggest issues when it comes to learning astrology. Not saying everyone should agree with what I'm saying, but its just something that no longer personally resonates with me.

From now on, when someone asks what my sign is, I'm going to just say that I am every sign, or Im going to just say that I am influenced by what is described in my natal chart..

Did some position progress to Pisces in your chart?

Pisces is my first house. I admit I went through a strong period of solitude during the eclipse.

My NN is in my 12th house as well so maybe it had something to do with it to.

You might have to translate that into English to some people.

I think so hey.

A lot of Pisces/Neptune/12th house strong people find it hard to relate to their natal positions.

The energy seems to be very "all encompassing" in its approach; making them empathize and sympathize with every energy.

So they often say; "How can I be one. When I feel like all?"

Where is your Jupiter?

Cool! I'm of a similar mindset.

It's always been hard for me to answer when someone asks me that question. Because I'm always kind of like "well, it kinda depends on the natal chart as a whole.." xD

You've never looked it up? Astrologers are always talking about Nodes.

The houses are more important in my opinion. The sign displays how the energy is "acted" out. But the house is the very life force, foundation and energy itself...

No I never have to be honest because I never thought nodes were particularly important. But I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to astrology, so things that I might think are important might not be after all and vice versa.

Well, there are different views, but many astrologers consider the "points" to be the most important areas in ones chart.

Your angles are considered as points and so are the nodes and vertex (vertex deals more with fated encounters and events). Asteroids are also significant

Im don't consider myself an astrologer so you can always ask around here. Ami Anne is very great when it comes to sharing info

Man I never knew any of that. But this forum teaches me quite a bit, which is why I like coming here. And Ami Anne is pretty good, I agree. I also recently learned new information from her .

I think you're just frustrated with some of the one-dimensional interpretations of signs and aspects that you read on online forums like this one (and others) and its resulted in you rebelling and going, "im not one sign" .

You cant blame real astrologers (the ones who have written books published by major publishing houses) for the incorrect info circulating on the web. The web gives everybody the ability to express their opinion that doesn't mean they know what the hell theyre talking about.

Or that astrology is inherently false. It's a tool that more often than not gets misued by people who lack the insight to use it properly.

So all in all its a "your pain is my pain. And your elevation is mine too" placement.

I like it
