Elysia,But.... When I get coffee in the morning at school. There are these two Gem Females that serve me. I didn't know they were until they admitted there birthdays, I suspected based on there behavior. They make little tidbits almost everyday, for example I purchased a large and a muffin for $4.75. Then I realized I had exact change and I suddenly gave the difference in the middle of the transaction after she input it in. She says to me "Your making me doing math, they don't pay me enough to do math". She says that full knowing I spend more time doing math homework then writing papers. I say this after I quoted in another forum about Gems should be able to understand other Gems humor. I'm sure you would know what kind of prank to prank me and when . ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

It depends on who it is, and what they do. I don't mind it if it's good-natured playing. IP: Logged |

I like pranks. I draw the line at things that can be harmful to physical and emotional health. Stuff like scare pranks where one jumps out from the shadow wearing a freakish mask, the toothpaste Oreo that you mention, shooting pranks that I saw on youtube...etc... are just no-no. I do the more harmless silly ones, and mostly only to people who like it. Sending weird texts from the s.o's cell phone, picking up his calls and saying things like "Welcome to XXX hottest sex line...etc...", putting clear cling wrap over the toilet bowl...etc... I played one on the s.o recently (playing pranks on the s.o is among my favorite things to do). Our friend and his partner invited us over for dinner last week and it was the first time my s.o met the partner. He didn't really enjoy her company. The thing is, she works in a field that my s.o is currently interested in. So I made up an email account using the friend's first name. Then I used my own account to send an email to the fake account, saying that my s.o really enjoyed talking to his partner and that since she had a lot of working experiences in a prominent company, he'd love to meet up with her at her work place so she could give him a tour and talk about works and whatnot. I then sent an email from the fake account pretending to be the friend, saying that sure his partner would love to meet up with my s.o. I showed my s.o the email, telling him that it would definitely help him in the future if he got into the field...bla bla bla... He was speechless at first, then he was like "NO NO NO, why did you do it, I don't want it AAAAAAAAAAAAAA". He rarely gets that worked up, so it was a real treat. I was like "Oh ok I'll just tell him to forget about the whole thing, you dislike his partner because she's a btch". And I sent an email saying just that, to the fake account. My s.o thought (correctly) that I was playing a joke on him, but I showed him the emails and he was beside himself with disbelief. I just sat there acting stunned, saying things like "Oh god, we just said that his partner was a btch, we've just lost a friend"...etc... in a small voice. His reactions were so good. When I finally said that it was only a joke, I was rolling on the couch laughing and he gave my rear end a few whacks before laughing as well. He said that my acting skills were so good. He has mercury conj pluto and normally his BS detector works well. Probably the sheer horrifying rudeness of the fake email shocked his libra-ness too much and made everything go hay-wire. Not a fan of pranks. I think I'm too pacific for them XD. What I said was that it depends on the prank of course, but many of them can be very annoying. Since I don't like them, I wouldn't be one to carry them out. Then about the Oreo prank, I said that I don't think I would like that and I might plot a revenge lolVirgo Sun / Mercury Taurus Asc Libra Moon / Venus Capricorn Mars IP: Logged |

There's a thin line between giving one's opinion and insulting others. Kindly do the former without engaging in the latter. IP: Logged |

12muddy, For the record, I am not in favour of physically and/or emotionally harmful pranks either. I honestly didn't think the Oreo one would be in that realm - most would just spit it out. (Unless, ofc, extreme case - someone has allergies, but one should know one's audience). To each his own, I guess... For instance, I've been pranked on phone & email a lotta times - but I would find that particular example really stressful. (Unless I was onto it, like your husband kinda was. ) @Sikanda, Didn't see your full comment. Would you mind rephrasing & posting it again ? IP: Logged |

Did your phone swallow a preposition or two there? Jk. --- Here's the not-kidding part: There's no need to go out of your way to insult people, you know. I don't know what compels you to do that. Or maybe there's no reason and you simply are a troll. If you do not want to participate in the actual discussion, fine - don't. But either way, do not come here and insult my friends for the heck of it. IP: Logged |

To the OT...Nay! Not a fan of feeling stupid, so I generally don't wish to do it to others. If it's more friendly and funny... maybe. Also no "teasing" please, unless it's very obvious no insult intended. Life is hard enough without trying to make people feel bad. Aspects... Good natured pranks are ok as long as you laugh with the pranked and not at them. ------------------ Don't look back, you're not going that way. IP: Logged |

You scrape the cream off an Oreo and stuff it with toothpaste instead. Serve to intended victim with a sweet, friendly smile. ^ If someone did this to you, What would be your reaction? My reaction: I would find my own toothpaste and squeeze it all over their face; furthermore making them eat it in recompense I would be very irritated. MAKE THEM PAY lol IP: Logged |

Lol this kills me. Hard. Faith: thank you thank you. Elysia: I get what you mean. I didn't mean to sound critical btw, sorry At first I thought the Oreo thing was pretty funny (after all, one of the things I used to do at parties was putting fish sauce into other people's coca cola). But then I suddenly thought that the person might swallow it, so I was like "Uh probably not". The chances of that happening would be quite slim, I agree, I expect most people to spit it out right after they bite into it. Yeah, it depends on the people who are on the receiving end, which is why I don't prank strangers or people who I don't know very well. A funny prank can go wrong in so many ways. I love scare pranks. I always thought I'd do that if given the chance. But after knowing someone who actually got a heart attack because of it, I waved goodbye to that thought for good. I still love when people scare me though lol. Gah, this thread brings back so many fond memories. Once I left my s.o at a hotel and took off with the money and clothes. He went down to reception wearing a bath robe. He said that everyone was looking at him like he was one of those people who paid for a "good time" and got scammed by the crafty vixen.

I want to do the condom in the purses at the store prank I also think people should use semi frozen whip cream on an Oreo instead of the tooth paste I like pranks where you jump out at people and scare them I like to trick people but only for a second because then I have to tell them the truth because my conscience would bother me ------------------ My charts:=Western-tropicalSidereal-heliocentric Sidereal-Jyotish the moon is in the 7th house... & Jupiter aligns with Mars... Oh but you gotta be careful with that...jumping out at people...My friend's daughter has a heart condition (you wouldn't know it by looking at her) and things like that have an unusually strong effect. IP: Logged |

Lol not my problem ! Think of it this way... An old man with no female friends goes to the beach and sees a bunch of basically naked woman... He's PROBABLY going to have a stroke too Peoples reactions have nothing to do with me I am not going to live my life in a box IP: Logged |

It would be your problem if you actively caused it, even if you didn't know it could happen. Note "actively" being the operative word. The almost naked women at a beach wouldn't have done anything to actively cause a stroke in the old man. IP: Logged |
