it's interesting because my ex is a cancer mars, but he doesn't fit the description at all.. He is the quintessential "man's man", he has a bit of a temper, but really speaks his mind and stands up when need beIP: Logged |

Lol you would have to look at a picture of me to determine that. I also have Venus Trine Asc since Mars and Asc are conjunct. Don't really hear anyone consider me attractive lol IP: Logged |

If shes that stu*id to buy into his lies and not realize the guy is fake then thats her problem and I whouldn't want her in the first place. The nerd wins out later once he establishes himself. Once he is established he'll be in an over match or overkill situation and not afraid to exit his shell because the situation is so stacked in his favor, its just building up to that point is the problem and some mars in cancers don't ever get there but if they do its the stuff of legend. I have my doubts my gem friend who is a day older then me and also a mars in Cancer will get there he is more watery then me. I'm different since I have more earth and am more cardinal then he is. I know the work thats required and am willing to put the time into building up myself. I mean right know I just paid my last credit card bill, I have absolutely no outstanding debt or student loans and I'm finishing my last year as a Software Engineer which is extremely employable and high income. Plus I have good credit, approved for a mortgage. have money for a down-payment and can purchase a house right after graduation. Most people are shocked because I don't give the starving student image, it takes time thought and my parents almost sabotaged my plans, but there starting to see my longterm overkill strategy. I will take my bicycle over the guy in the BMW and invest it. At least for the same amount of money if you make the right choices you'll get good rewards. While the guy in the BMW is loosing 5-10% depreciation value and if he has a $50k car loan he'll still be paying that loan even if the car isn't worth that in 3 years. So in general mars in cancer just puts the guy at a delay, but depending on the chart he can catch everyone by surprise later since he is under the radar. EDIT: ====================================== As an example, lol I use to play Age of Empires alot. I would play defensive-offensive. I would camp on almost all the resource spots and hog it, but not attack. My teammates would say when are you going to attack? You already have all the resources. When I do attack my army is at least 2x the size as the opponent. Lol, Its Literally an overmatch. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer
I know another cancer mars just like you! Lol! Love it. IP: Logged |

I'm a Mars in Leo woman. I like a polished man, but not overly flashy or obnoxious. The latter is a turn off. I've known two Mars in Scorpio men. One tried forceful seduction with me. Even when I was not ready, he was all over me. It was actually too much. He said something like, "When I feel passionate, I go with it." His Mars was not conjunct my Venus. The other pursued me and had a few fetishes. He was really cute. We had off the charts sexual chemistry. We tried to meet up in a public place to prevent any indecency, but we ended up in his car making out. lol He has his Mars conjunct my Scorpio Venus. That was an interesting situation!

I like your article, Ami. It's fun. I have Mars in Sag and I like fun. It's in 6H too so work has to be fun. Although conjunct Saturn. As a Cappy I will never be happy without goals, but my goals are really unfocused with Mars in Sag and sometimes impractible. It's been a lot of years, over 50 and I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up, haha. So now there are new goals and a determination to succeed. Faith keeps me going. Sag Mars has a kind of inner knowing and trust, I think, that follows where Spirit takes them. What do you think?IP: Logged |

Mars in Libra does tend towards indecision. I completely agree IME.I think that could also be that a Venus(attracting) ruled sign is in a (active)Mars placement. What I do and what I have seen most Mars in Libra do when going after something, is strongly attract it to them. I often use my more "soft" skills to get what I want. And the more I want it, the more "persuasive"/ aggressive the charm is-if that makes sense The problem here can often times be that when I do get it, I may change my mind about whether it was really that worthwhile to get/ or even keep IP: Logged |

IMO, the real hard drivers I've seen are those with Mars-Saturn aspects. These folks are relentless in pursuit of their goals, which differ for everyone but especially those who strive to do well in their careers.
I completely agree. My top priority in life has never been career. It's important for me to feel comfortable financially, yes. But I'm not at all driven by status and ladder-climbing. I believe in working hard so that you can play hard and be FREE to live your life as you choose to! I work best when left alone to create and work my magic -- I've got this, I do not need anyone guiding me, getting in my way. I enjoy being my OWN BOSS. Managers are a total waste of my time and usually full of ego instead of real help. *BYE FELICIA* -Capricorn Mars -In 3rd House -Venus, Moon, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto contacts

Another good point. I think what this Mars really provides is confidence in your own abilities to do well in whatever you set your mind to, which may be why this placement is exalted. It doesn't necessarily mean you'll be a CEO someday, but that whatever YOU see as "achievement" you are confident in your means of getting there. I feel the same. I think this position may even struggle with authority in some respects because there is that underlying sense of "I got this and I don't need direction" because even if you don't know how to do it, you will certainly figure it out. It's a quiet sort of determination that isn't flashy or obnoxious or obvious but really just a strength rooted in your soul. You wouldn't necessarily even call it a cockiness like an Aries Mars might project, you do what needs to get done. IP: Logged |

Well, I realized that the only one keeping me from success is myself. So hard to choose one path and stick with it (Sag Mars). I realized there are no guaranties (Double Cancer Moon-Asc needs a guarantee)). So I had to learn to trust my guidance and then just show up. (sat conj Mars in 6H Sag for me is the discipline aspect, grow up and show up, trust) Pluto transit Cap Sun for me is dissolving the ego and eliminating past self-defeating fears to allow success. Ami, lately when I meet a person who baffles me, they have Cancer Mars. they have strong Sun signs, Aries, Scorpio, even active leadership sign like Libra, but at first glance their chart is so not them - I'm baffled. then I Notice Cancer Mars. It's the Cancer Mars that I Have been asking to understand. Their Sun is afflicted by Saturn, Mars, both Saturn and Mars, or Neptune, but afflicted Sun alone never baffles me. The Cancer Mars, though, even with the afflictions seems to bring out the dynamic aspects of the Sun Sign. Do you usually see Sun afflictions with Cancer Mars? IP: Logged |

I agree with this. Mars in Gemini here and I've always had issues with my lungs/respiratory system. On the up side, I have beefed up arm muscles and shoulders and good upper body strength - even though I don't exercise that much. IP: Logged |

This matches the Cancer mars man I know -- the energy invested 'positively'. The rest of your post is great, too! Just goes to show, every Mars has its strengths. It is the god of War, after all. Everyone has Mars, their inner warrior. The sign it is in only defines the *strategy*. IP: Logged |
