I have noticed that for some people their Ascendant is not the way they appear but the way they WANT to appear. Like I know this girl who is also interested in astrology, she has Capricorn Sun, Scorpio Moon, Leo Ascendant, and tons of "dark placements". She doesn't come off as a Leo Ascendant at all but she is very desperate act like one. It comes off as fake and forced. She should just embrace her true self instead of wanting to wear a "mask" which doesn't suit her at all. Personally I like those people whose Ascendant is in the same element as their Sun and/or Moon or at least in the same polarity. IP: Logged |

In sidereal I'm a Scorpio ASC. It makes sense because I wear black all the time. It's slimming.

Everywhere I look, I seem to relate more with Pisces rising than Aries.I try to match the Aries Asc with my personality and it just doesn't stick consistently Even the sign after Aries, doesn't fit that much i.e Taurus. But it is "closer" than Aries. But Pisces, my goodness. It resonates so much. And I don't "get" why since Neptune /Jupiter is so far from the angles. Very strange. IP: Logged |

Maybe that square between her Moon and Ascendant is showing - she is both, but isn't comfortable as one, or either of them. If she's your age, she's still pretty young. I know what it's like, but that's due to things changing me in life - it's hard at the age I am now, feeling like I missed out on so much, because a part of me was suppressed, due to anxiety. Yea, Teasel, when I was a total newbie, first times on here until I wised up, someone I trusted said I was a Scorpio ASC from my pic and I believed him and changed my chart to the time he gave me. Remember that guy we talked about a lot? It was him lol

Yay, good post again Ami! As a fellow Libra riser I cannot stand arguments or when people get angry. It was very difficult for me growing up with my Aries ASC father (also fire dominant with a moody Cancer sun), an Aries sun and Moon sister (also she's ruled by Pluto), a Aries/Taurus grandma, a Scorpio pluto ruled grandpa and a Sagittarius ASC mother (with a moody moon Gemini, she always picked arguments and fights for no reason). All I have ever wanted was peace and balance, and I think that's why I was always so stressed as a child because I never had that and my ASC was very disturbed. Not to mention all the Aries energy squared my Sun. ------------------
