I absolutely love music too. All kinds of music, literally. I'm a very very open person.

So I'm wondering, what signs/planets will be most drawn to as far as vibration and sound goes as well as overall visual expression. And I also want to know what you absolutely despise as well, what makes you cringe? Is it sign and taste or just overall not well made art that we can mostly agree with lol

Visual art is my happy place. I can appreciate different kinds, almost any style, medium but I'm often divided between sensory appeal, emotion and idea.

Some artists I like: very painterly artists like Adrian Ghenie and Fiona Rae for colour and harmony of depth. They also have some emotional and idea appeal.

Im competent at painting but it's not a natural strength mainly because I'm better at ideas but I'm obsessed with getting the visual too which is hard to balance and a different drive. I realised, when studying art, that since 4 yrs old - I can distinctly remember - I've been wanting to get the composition right and it was about ideas too, visually mapping the mind. I think maybe because I've Pallas conjunct moon. I love children's art so much because they naturally get the composition right.

Sculpture is much easier for me because it more immediately/intuitively lends itself to translating an idea/emotion.

Other aspects that relate: Mercury trine Neptune, moon conjunct Neptune, Mercury in conjunct Uranus (intuitively feels relevant but I don't know which bit) Uranus conjunct asc, Neptune trine Saturn (like magic realism), Venus square Saturn, Venus in Taurus, sun in Taurus opp asc in Scorpio (which feels like the pull between depth and sensual).

I'm better at writing and poetry as a form of puzzle, trying to capture something barely perceptible, (merc opp Pluto)

Things I don't like: tin-sounding rock music, bright colours with black - clashing, sci-fi type colours / rendering, unblended most things. Think the Taurus/Venus likes a solidity and a little smudged for Neptune influence.

I can relate to your interest in classical music! I love it also, did you know that Beethoven also had his Venus conj Pluto? I think in Scorpio.. I can def feel it in his music, especially "ghost" I love it so much. I am very drawn to classical and Victorian art/architecture it's so beautiful! My tumblr pretty much just has mass collections of this era and art haha. I feel like when Pluto contacts Venus it creates a more compulsive need to be fulfilled aesthetically, like an insatiable hunger for beauty and passion, to express the turbulent emotions inside, or just let it out somehow.

Mine is a 28,38 degree Libra Venus conjunct 5 degree Pluto in Scorpio. Both conjunct descendant. Yes, the Venus-Pluto conjunction gives it so much depth.
Also I have Neptune touch most of my planets (Sun, Mercury, Moon, Venus, Saturn, Pluto), quintile my SN and trine ascendant.

I don't think I have any stereotypically creative astro placements, which is odd. I basically have a water void chart. And yet I play 3 instruments, write, record, produce and mix all of my own music. I make my own videos too. Not sure what it's down to, I guess maybe Neptune in first house might be it.

Check out a song of mine some time, if you like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkGZy7YBO-Q

That's very cool, Vradec! I heard both of our tracks

Doesn't your Neptune aspect any other planets then? And how about your Venus? Venus is often related to an interest in art.

ooooooOOoo we actually have quit a few aspects in common. my venus is at 16 scorpio and pluto at 13 scorpio conj DC also, BIG time pluto/scorpio influence in my love/art nature. TaurusASC+libra sun stellium emphasize venus. Neptune also touches all of my planets, 0 trine ASC, square, sun, merc, mars, conj Saturn/Uranus, 0 opp Jupiter, trine moon, sextile pluto/venus. haha

@ electro dgx I think I used the word "remix" in an inncorect way lol, I just ment I liked that you had glitch mod through your playlist, I didn't pay much attention other than the name caught my attention and I like glitch mob!
aaawww ive been seeing a lot of pluto/scorpio influence as far as passion and creativity go too! I feel like scorpio is a very potently creative sign, different flavor than the soft waters of pisces/Neptune. may I ask, whats your venus placements like?

@ami anne I agree! Neptune is a huge source of inspiration and draw to creative expression. cant forget about Venus though! angular and prominent venus's usually indicate great to reeeaaallly great artistic ability.

people! if you got that creative spark what yo venus at??

@Florence yes! scorpio really does that have intense pull doesn't it? I feel you! plus your venus Taurus and sun def give a strong aesthetic appreciation. I feel like Taurus is very good at paint, material mediums in art. especially when it comes to texture! ugh I love texture haha. Adrian gheni is really good! his style reminds me of another painter. my ultimate favorite artist is joao ruas hes amazing.. I could stair at his paintings for ever, the style is darkly beautiful. since my chart ruler venus is in scorpio conj pluto conj DC my taste aesthetically has to have a sort of depth and emotion that pulls me too it.. art I feel is the purest and most natural expression of the soul. I want to feel it!

Yes true! Indeed we have aspects in common. For one I have a Taurus ascendant too (obviously since my descendant is in Scorpio). And one of the tightest aspects in my chart at 0 degree is my Moon square Neptune.
I'm curious, what is your MC? Mine is Capricorn MC, Cancer IC.

My Sun is in Virgo conj Mercury in the 5th, but several other elements in my chart are in the 6th house in Libra (Moon, Venus (not conj though), Ceres, SN, Vertex),which wouldn't be considered as a stellium but I think they bring some Libran and Venusian flavour into it.
Are you by any chance tall and/or slim? I always hear that Taurus ascendants are rather 'built' and 'square' in shape, nothing against it but it doesn't fit my description at all. I want to know if it's the Libran influence perhaps.

Music is my world

I love most types of music.
I noticed I like Indie Pop and Alternative Rock etc

Rn my current interest is the songwriters charts of my favorite bands whose songs I can relate to!

Most have mercury in Aquarius or Sagittarius

Nate Ruess from fun is a sun Pisces, moon Aries, mercury aquarius, Venus Capricorn and Mars libra

Trace Cyrus is sun Pisces, moon libra, Mercury and Venus Aquarius, Mars Taurus

Ryan Key is a sun/moon/Mercury Sagittarius, Venus Capricorn and Mars Virgo

Mercury Aquarius with Venus cap are my favorite positions so it's so weird that my favorite song writers have those positions

and it's all moon in my similar element
The Pisces Suns throw me off though because nothing in my chart is really water besides my Mars

I think maybe because Pisces and Sagittarius are similar in a way that might be why I could relate to it

I could probably go on and on with who I like and dislike but they have some songs I really loved so I had to choose them

The bands were fun, metro station and red jumpsuit apparatus

I'm ultra Libra
Yes the word is ultra
I'll show you my charts

My charts:=Western-tropicalSidereal-heliocentric

the moon is in the 7th house... & Jupiter aligns with Mars... Then peace will guide the planets. And love will steer the stars!"

my MH is also in Capricorn! 23 degrees exact, my Saturn is also in Capricorn but its in the 9th house conj Neptune and Uranus but Uranus is right on the cusp of 8/9 house.
how does your moon square Neptune play out? just curious
my virgo moon is placed in the 5th house and my libra stellium is in the 6th (sun/mars/merc conj)
yeah true, I never could really relate to "stocky" and "built" description either, or the "short neck" haha ive read that one before. but I'm about 5'7 115lbs. I'm rather slim. id say I was more "wirey" if anything, always super scrawny growing up and finally filled in with puberty lol but I guess I have a very "soft" look to me, like I'm cuddly looking. my skin is olive and I have thick long hair like they describe venus haha and I feel like I'm pretty squishy :P
I think it could be a combo of mercury and venus. maybe my mars too. just cause mercury is typically very "agile" and youthful and nobody can ever tell my age ha, everyone still thinks I'm in high school its great! my mercury is at 29 virgo in the 6th. could be libra too, I'm pretty evenly proportioned hehe and I usually relate to how it decribes libra or venus in general. other than the shorter, square, stocker descriptions of Taurus. I don't really relate to that other than my walk, I feel like my footing is rather heavy oh and looking soft and hazel eyes and all that.

I hesitated to put it before but I've a tiny Venus-Pluto aspect in the form of a sesqui-thing (although I can relate to the aspect quite a bit and I think that's where some of my frustration is because it feels such an almost aspect). But I suppose Scorpio asc opp Taurus sun could be playing out this somewhat too.

Joan roas - he's very interesting and does have that emotional power, aesthetically makes me think of your libra as he has nice lines which I associate with libra (I always think the Venus of libra is like art nouveau because of the line emphasis, not necessarily the style; Venus of taurus as Art Deco because of the solidity, form) and can see the Scorpio themes. He makes me think of another artist too, Rachel Goodyear, who you might like for themes altho she doesn't have that same depth. You might not either it's so tricky to isolate people's taste in art.

hah yeah, those minor aspects sometimes make me feel a bit more uncertain as far as potency goes, but they are still so relatble. i just started looking into my mercury semi-square pluto, its pretty exact and i relate to it a lot.

its probably because of my dominant pluto but scorpio ASC is very very intriguing to me, I'm very fond of how magnetic and potent the energy is. i just love how pluto/scorpio gives such a striking edge aesthetically..

oh yeah! i remembered the name of that artist Henrik Uldalen who reminds me of Adrian Ghenie! they have very similar raw paint portrait styles. he posts videos of his paint process, he makes it look so simple and easy, its amazing and super satisfying lol hell paint such a good quick eye on an egg then drop it! create and destroy, i love that concept!
joao is seriously amazing, ive been obsessed with his stuff forawhile, i just love it so much! hes my favorite. i just love how it almost has a dreamy quality to it, a dreamy darkness in some parallel alien world.
and i agree, i can totally see venus libra being like art nouveau and having delicate lines. i personally have a very delicate lines when i draw. i always wonder what joaos chart is.. i feel like he would have pluto, even the pictures he posts on tumblr are very dark and beautiful, his taste is super synchronized with my tumblr so maybe that's why i am so drawn to him.

that girl is cool! i really liked her style. i will try to remember her and hope shes featured in an art magazine so i can put her art up lol. it is hard to isolate peoples taste in art, i always wonder about that and peoples taste in stuff, sometimes it baffles me. i have a pretty wide taste in art, my life is art haha
have you heard of the artist skinner? hes also a favorite, mainly too because i think hes hilarious. i love him. and have you heard of lolo? shes a street artist, her style is so awesome! her style is really fluid and i love how its just infinitely creative, like theres no limits to it! i love that in art, constantly getting my mind blown ha

very interesting! super cool, i really like how ur drawn to those specific signs and it manifests itself in a way that you are also naturally drawn to!
pisces are so good at blending in and being so chameleon like, they can be tricky to spot sometimes! pisces and sag both have that buoyant Jupiter energy! i can see the direction they go in to be really similar in expression.

i look up charts of my favorite artists too, but i havnt really noticed a pattern like you have its neat. the yeah yeah yeahs are all sag's! its only 3 members but i always thought that was interesting that they were a full sag band haha. ive noticed that a lot of rappers are libras! haha ninja from die antwoord has the same birthday as me. probably because my venus is conj pluto in scorpio, I'm very drawn to plutonian expression and people. its a theme big time

well niice! i liked the song you showed me, its like house, it always reminds me of burning man lol, ive gone like 8 times.. and it reminds me of when my mom use to go clubbing all ze time! hehe. do you usually listen to mellow upbeat stuff like that? seems like with your Jupiter conjunction, then leo venus and being a virgo would be drawn to those more melodic, pleasant sounds. i know other virgos who are pretty similar taste wise in music, liking more feminine voices.

here ill show you some of the weird electronic music i listen to lol i love it, i like heavy alien music ha :P it doesn't get really weird until about a minute in ha

Sorry for late reply, busy/tiring week.

That was a funky song!!!!(: very different from anything I've ever heard.

Yes, that's perfect wording for my type of music... mellow, upbeat... I also like deep/dark, but not like straight dark, that gets a little creepy for me. Def. must maintain pleasantry to them, like you said(:

And yeah, I feel ya on being super sensitive, could be your DSC placements moving you toward a more Scorpio type personality? Just a thought

I see, I'm about 5'9 and quite slim. If I have to describe myself, I have long limbs and a long neck which again is not like Taurus.
I think there's nothing more feminine than a long slim neck.
Oh and my eyes are hazel too. I used to be kind of squarish or scrawny before puberty, I think I have gotten better with age (might sound self-complying, but it is actually not). Well I do think I have a soft look too (probably the Neptunian influence...) but sometimes I feel my strong will and/or stubborness emanate through it XD. In this sense sometimes I can look quite serious -but when I smile people often compliment me on my smile. It depends in the day and how I feel, my expression changes XD.
My Mars is in Capricorn by the way, conjunct MC.
My hair is thick and dark and I like wearing it long too. I seem to look younger than my age, or my age (but not older than that).
Yes, being evenly proportioned, everything harmonic could be related to Libra.

BTW I think SnowCatcher has a point when saying that of the progression of planets into Scorpio. I am noticing that myself. Right now my Venus and Moon conjunct Pluto are progressed in Scorpio, and I have noticed a period of my life in which I've been more sensitive and emotionally intense than before. I'm reverting back to 'normal' though and I'm glad of it.

aaahh ok! you have a strong mars influence too, i bet that helps with a wirey build. i feel like with Taurus rising it gives me a sort of serious look too, or very "placid" like people have a hard time reading my feelings accurately, they usually interpret it to be more negative than it actually is haha. ill be fine and someone will think I'm sad or something.

hmm ill have to check my progressions I'm honestly not that well rounded on them yet, still learning about them i guess.

its probably because of my dominant pluto but scorpio ASC is very very intriguing to me, I'm very fond of how magnetic and potent the energy is. i just love how pluto/scorpio gives such a striking edge aesthetically..

oh yeah! i remembered the name of that artist Henrik Uldalen who reminds me of Adrian Ghenie! they have very similar raw paint portrait styles. he posts videos of his paint process, he makes it look so simple and easy, its amazing and super satisfying lol hell paint such a good quick eye on an egg then drop it! create and destroy, i love that concept!
joao is seriously amazing, ive been obsessed with his stuff forawhile, i just love it so much! hes my favorite. i just love how it almost has a dreamy quality to it, a dreamy darkness in some parallel alien world.
and i agree, i can totally see venus libra being like art nouveau and having delicate lines. i personally have a very delicate lines when i draw. i always wonder what joaos chart is.. i feel like he would have pluto, even the pictures he posts on tumblr are very dark and beautiful, his taste is super synchronized with my tumblr so maybe that's why i am so drawn to him.

that girl is cool! i really liked her style. i will try to remember her and hope shes featured in an art magazine so i can put her art up lol. it is hard to isolate peoples taste in art, i always wonder about that and peoples taste in stuff, sometimes it baffles me. i have a pretty wide taste in art, my life is art haha
have you heard of the artist skinner? hes also a favorite, mainly too because i think hes hilarious. i love him. and have you heard of lolo? shes a street artist, her style is so awesome! her style is really fluid and i love how its just infinitely creative, like theres no limits to it! i love that in art, constantly getting my mind blown ha

Oh I like that henrik udalen - in fact, at a quick glance, I may have come across one of his on Pinterest and then tried to find it again because it stayed with me and not been able to so ty very much

I've not heard of skinner or lolo but I will look them up at some point.

I love you say that about Scorpio asc ...'cos well we probably like that about ourselves but get so bogged down it it's actually hard to appreciate that immediate benefit or that it actually applies. Personally speaking anyway

It's also encouraging to think of the Pluto aspect of art. I feel really jealous of Venus-Neptune people and often don't think I've got the art seal of approval in my chart. It's good to have a different perspective on it.

haha no problem!
scorpio can be such a complex placement, its awesome to find people who appreciate the potency of the sign and the positives it can offer when u can control its power

yeah I use to be super fascinated with Neptune conjunctions too, but I suppose after being surrounded by so many Neptune influenced people.. being my dad is a venus/Neptune conj and the architecture/artistic taste he has is quite beautiful, very very refined! and my mom is a scorpio sun conj Neptune and having friends or knowing people with Neptune conjunctions.. and its made me really appreciate the penetrating and very alluring quality of pluto. theres something quit "light" about Neptune, though its energy is certainly boundless and can morph into anything it pleases, theres just something about it that's rather delicate feeling and ethereal which I love.. BUT the depth and the impact of pluto aesthetically can be damn near mind blowing sometimes, even through the written word. I mean, its probably because I'm a plutonian and I'm hugely satisfied by pluto vibes..but it makes sense to be that I would need to have the same depth for satisfaction haha. I mean.. Leonardo DiCaprio, robin Williams, keuno reeves, all strong plutos and as impactful actors? I think yes! its a different kind of presence that earns its respect rightfully ya know? Beethoven + Mozart, both plutonians. (the exception to what I'm saying though.. as I'm thinking of it now is miley cyrus lol, shes got her moon conjunct pluto, and I wouldn't say shes earned her place through solely talent but shock more than anything, but she makes a striking presence.. whether its felt in a good or bad way, maybe that's the 12th house manifestation of pluto)

but really, if you get time, look up the "les twins" on youtube. they have venus conjunct pluto in scorpio and they are hands down the top best dancers in the world, its mind blowing!! and they have a specific edginess and depth to their style, I love it ! I feel like the way they dress+ the style of their dances represents pluto influence perfectly ha. you can literally see the passion and talent oozing from them its amaaazing.
I can relate to them fashion wise like on point, we are the same but opposite sexes lol.
