I realized that this phenomena was actually what I've come to think of as astrological fusions or "hybrids". With my Moon and Mars both being in Gemini (in addition to my Gemini Mars co-ruling my entire chart), I am FULL of Mercurial energy. Then I have 5 placements in Capricorn, so I am quite earthy to say the least. This allowed an amazing thing to take place in which my Mercurial energy fused with all of my Earth energy to create, wait for it......VIRGO! Virgo is an earth sign ruled by Mercury. So though Virgo is not my sign nor a main player in my chart, I am a Virgo type by way of hybrid energies.

Next I wondered why Pisces was seen when I only have one water sign in my entire chart (and it is NOT Pisces). Well let's take a look. I have a
Scorpio Ascendant. Scorpio is not like Pisces but they are both water, which is all that's needed for what we'll examine next. Ok so I have water energy but the rest of my chart is quite firey with 3 planets in fire signs. However, two of those three are in the fire sign of Sag (Sun / Venus). Who is Sag ruled by? Jupiter. So take all of my Jupiter energy and fuse it with water energy and what do you get?....PISCES! Pisces is a water energy co-ruled by Jupiter. Add this to a 12th house Pluto (my chart ruler) and you get a Pisces-like vibe by way of hybrid energies.

I have even seen this in subjects outside of myself. Angelina Jolie is extremely Arian with Moon, Mars, Jupiter, and Mid.H in Aries. However, she also has very strong water energy with Venus, Saturn, and Asc (super important) in Cancer. Angelina is a Gemini Sun but her reputation as the extremely sexy, seductive, and mysterious daredevil brings a very different sign to mind doesn't it? Well, who is a watery Martian? SCORPIO! So despite having NOTHING in Scorpio, Angelina is a Scorpio type by way of hybrid energies.

Yet some mixes don't make an entirely other sign. For example there is no fire sign that is ruled by mercury, so it probably won't create anything. However, Saturn influence mixed with tons of Gemini could possibly make an Aquarius type. I find this extremely fascinating and very much like mixing paint colors (except with energies). Sooooo, my hybrid sign is basically a Virgo Sun with Pisces Ascendant by way of energy fusion

LOL. Have you found that you or someone you know acts like a particular sign (that may not even be in their chart) by way of energy fusions? What energies have you noticed can make particular signs when mixed? And finally, what is your hybrid sign (if you are a hybrid at all)?

Here is a response I wrote to someone that I feel explains the science behind this better (copied from my post on page 2).

"I noticed it is most concrete with signs that are associated with multiple planets (Scorpio, Sag, Pisces, and Aquarius)OR share a planet with another sign (Libra and Taurus share Venus, Gemini and Virgo share Mercury, Sag and Pisces share Jupiter, Aquarius and Cap share Saturn an Aries shares Mars with Scorpio). In this way, elements, modes, and planets can intermix (you can have a fire Martian or a water Martian....you can have Mercurial air or Mercurial earth). These create sure-fire hybrids. This won't work too well with the Moon for example, as it only rules one sign and it is only associated with one element (water). It has influence but does not intermix seamlessly."

Honestly though I am horrible at guessing signs based off of pictures, which is why I never participate in such threads.

You are a Plutonian Aquarius and that seems like one heck of a combo. Going deep into the unknown with an intense innovative quality (colored by unique thinking processes). I felt all of his clearly from your music as well. I think that the fusion of your energies are prone to making you sort of like an ultimate version of each opposed to manifestng another sign altogether (like Jolie).

I say this b/c the deep feeling of Scorpio / Pluto would only serve to intensify the uniqueness of Aquarius (making you extra "different" or unusual which are Aquarian qualities). The strong intellect of Aquarius would only serve to make Scorpio's desire to experiment with extremes and research more amplified. So maybe people feel at times you are either super Aquarian or super Scorpion? I could be totally off lol

I definitely agree with your astrological theory. I'm Plutonian and an Aries and my chart is water/fire heavy. Even so, I got confused as a Pisces once. It was shocking cuss this person that confused me for a Pisces was a Pisces(LOLZ). I only have my Venus in Pisces but I feel it effects on my appearance and how people see me. Btw I only have like 4 minor aspects with Neptune and most of them are between two generational planets (so they don't even count for me).

I do have Venus in Pisces in the 7th House. So I probably project my Venus Pisces energy to others through my interactions with them.

Random but I also do have Jupiter in the 1st House. So according to your hybrid theory; I am borrowing energy from Jupiter that rules both Sag and Pisces.

Anyway I don't really think I have a particular hybrid sign. I feel that I am a hybrid Pluto/Venus/Saturn/Sun energies (according to my Pullen chart too).

Anyway time to get a little deep and philosophical. Sometimes I think Pisces is just as strong if not stronger energy than Scorpio. I know this sounds crazy. But it has that classic good/evil battle going on between it. Pisces can definitely undermine Scorpio energy. I see this dynamic in my own chart and I am Plutonian.

I don't know, Cancers often surprise me. They have emotional abilities I don't have. I have no planets in Cancer and all I've got in my 4H is my NN (so I'm not there yet) and Uranus (which is nothing like Cancer!)

Cancer is in my 12H too.

Bringing up Draconic influences may be a good thing to pin-point as well, but I only have draconic Jupiter in Scorpio. It makes a square to my natal sun

This happened to my Capricorn cousin. I knew his first born would be a Virgo.

Capricorn Male (Earth) + Gemini Female(Air) = Virgo Child.
