I think that these descriptions are accurate, thanks for taking the time to put this together, Libracorn (nice username btw).

Now in the same time what I noticed is that, as it usually happens with general descriptions, especially these shorter ones, there is a tendency to turn out somewhat one sided, and for some signs that means their "lower octave" manifesation is captured, when for others, the higher one.
And what I notice usually in people's reactions, they react more negatively, or they don't feel they can relate when their placement is captured through its more negative manifestation.
Which I think is the case of Virgo and maybe also Scorpio moon here. Especally with Virgo, there is this wide misconception, that the clean-freakness is their natural characteristic, while in my opinion it's the lower octave manifestation which appears in times of crisis or when the signs higher manifestation is not developed yet.

Otherwise I can relate with what you wrote about Cancer Moon - I have it in the 11th house and I feel sometimes like this universal mother, haha. Otherwise I'm not very mother-y or nurturing in my outside manifestation, but that is influenced also by having Mars conjunct my Moon I guess. For me the Cancer Moon is mainly about feeling everything very deeply and the need to learn to ride this ever canging emotional tidal wave...

I must have met the wrong type of Virgo Moons.
My experience with the have been, and are, that the are disorganized, messy and not very well put together at all! Messy relationships too.

I'm a Cap Moon and description fits me pretty well. Add to that some 5th house Leo diva-style and you have me

I have huge issues with Cancer Moons (am a Cancer Sun). Way too emotional for my taste. They also seem to need and crave CONSTANT confirmation that they exist :-/

Ugh? maybe afflicted moon then bc my dad has moon in Virgo and he is clean and organized. He ate a snickers bar once with utensils. He is also super awesome, very stable emotionally and very supportive, a healer, he is a therapist. He is also a cap and his moon is well aspected not like mine.

Valuable information on Virgo Moons... it really depends how the Moon is aspected. I know two Virgo Moons who have their Pisces Sun opposite it and Uranus square it.
First of all the Moon usually describes the mother (how the child perceived her), or the motherly figure, whomever that may have been. In the case with these two people, it was the father that was extremely critical and unsupportive of the child (I believe the Uranus square Moon indicates this).
The mothers were there, just didn't influence as strongly.
Both these people are sensitive and very often confused and in need of advice. They always criticise and have very little tact, as a result they often think people are also very critical to them (which is rarely the case) as they notice the small things no-one else really notices (again they think everyone else is like them, or should be like them); they are extremely sensitive to criticism as this reminds them of how the parent treated them.

If you want practical advice on something, rather than understanding and compassion, then go to these people. They often develop OCD tendencies - about cleanliness and order-related things (which may be very skewed but they believe this is how it should be). Not all of them are orderly in the conventional manner, in fact, many are very messy. What's distinctive about it, though, is that there's an order to their own chaos...

I know a Virgo Sun and Moon conjunct who has somewhat got it together and is more able to cater in a practical way to the people he loves rather than flood them with unwanted advice or criticism.

There's probably more I could say about these Moons but that's what I could think of now.

Cancer Moons...they will be very attentive to your emotional needs if you are on good terms with them... if not, they may be one of the coldest Moons. There's usually a strong affection for the mother and the home.

I am a Gemini Moon, I do crave communication at times but in my close relationships mostly. I'm always the least talkative person in a company of a few. What's distinctive about us is that we often need novelty and excitement to keep us going or at the very least need some intellectual stimulus. What we can do well is multitask... we enjoy it.

Perhaps afflicted Moon. Mind you, I only know 3 Virgo Mooners but they all have same characteristics and they are different ages (Pluto gens). All 3 have really messed up relationships. All 3 lie about the stupidest things. All 3 are very secretive. All 3 are not very clean. They APPEAR clean but when scratching surface not so much. All 3 are also very neurotic with 2 of them are on meds. 2 are Libra Suns and 1 is an Aries. Perhaps it's a coincidence.

Thanks for writing these. I found many of the descriptions true for some of the people I am close to.

As a Virgo moon, I got to say I'm definitely more of the messy type than a neat freak lol. Then again I'm a Pisces Sun so that might cancel out the neatness.

I don't know any other Virgo moons so I can only speak from my own experience, but the way I experience my moon is an incessant need to analyze and sort through my emotions. Like even though I feel my emotions, I'm always thinking through them at the same time trying to get to the root cause. Basically there is a need to feel put together on the inside even if I don't quite reflect that on the outside.

"Prefer to not be rushed when asked to do things." Have you ever tried to rush a Taurus Moon? The words "hurry up" make me slow down purposely. Pefection takes time and my 10th house Moon will settle for nothing less.
One of my best friends is another Pisces Sun, but he has a Scorpio Moon. I swear he is going to have a coronary waiting for me one of these days.
Do I love luxurious things? Oh yes. Am I willing to spend more money for comfortable, adorable, well-made clothing/furniture/cars. When I was purchasing my current vehicle my grandfather tried to ask why I didn't just get the base model that was $9,000 cheaper. Because I don't WANT that one grandpa! Lol Stubborn and slightly spoiled, but I also love to bestow gifts on those I care for, not just myself. And not just any gift, but the expensive ones they'll mever buy for themselves.

Moon in Virgo – These are the neat freaks and being organized means a great deal to them. They have their own planners, to-do lists etc. everything must be in order for them to function, they do not like disorganization and confusion. Have you ever been in a Virgo Moon’s bedroom and it was messy? Most likely not. These are the children that’ll actually clean their rooms without their parents having to hound them about getting it done. They prefer to live in clean and organized environments because it allows them to function better.

This is my husband 100%.
He can't function in a messy/disorganized house. He likes everything to have its spot and for it to be there. This is also part of his love language. The days he would come home and find the house completely clean or find me in the process of cleaning were when he was most affectionate. He truly appreciated it from the bottom of his heart.

Great job, Libracorn!

I have a bunch of Sag Moon people in my life and none of them are big travelers. My best friend is not very Sag moon at all. She shows more of her Libra traits. And she's very Taurus like, but nothing in Taurus. We don't know her exact birth time though.

My other friend with Sag moon shows his Cancer traits more (Sun and ASC). He is very independent and freedom loving though, but not in a gregarious Sag way.

I'm a Cap Moon and the description fits me pretty well. Though with Cancer Sun I am pretty prone to verbal expression of my emotions. But I feel awkward saying it. And in crises I appear cold and very matter of fact. Key word is appear.

I know several Scorpio moons. My Dad appears extremely subdued, but I suspect it is all just beneath the surface. He definitely holds grudges. My sister has a Scorpio moon, and she can be like him. She definitely reserves her innermost self to herself, rarely letting others in. But she's an Aqua sun too.

The Sag Moon people in your life aren't big travelers for 2 reasons:

1) Their 9th House of long-distance travel is empty and/or the ruler and it's respective placement is not generating activity regarding 9th House affairs.

2) The "Holy Trinity" of the character are The Ascendant, The Sun, and The Moon - in that order; since the First House of The Ascendant is originally owned by Aries, whose motto is "I AM". Therefore, your Rising Sign IS who you are; which is why some people barely relate to their Moon Sign, if at all. That's why there are Libra Moons out there who can actually function without being in a relationship. They either have an Aries/Sag Rising, an Aries Sun, a 1st House Sun, a 1st House stellium, a strong Mercury, Saturn, Uranus or Jupiter dominant chart, OR their Libra Moon aspects Mars thus mitigating the expression of Lunar Libran characteristics.

In reference to my primary point, many actually believe their Moon's house placement to be much superior. For instance, I identify with almost every single detail related to having a 6th House Moon. Then again, I also have Pluto in the 6th House, so that may double the influence. However, I'd lying if I said I didn't relate to a handful of Sagittarius Moon traits; such as being a (non-religious) woman of unwavering faith, very easy-going, saying the very first thing that comes to mind more often than not, and having this semi "I couldn't care less" automatic response/mind-set when it comes to ANYthing, EXCEPT work, academia, health, fitness, routine, beauty and hygiene, lol. I have Mars in the 1st House and nothing has fully trigerred my temper thus far; since getting angry wastes so much energy and I'd have to ACTUALLY care for my temper to be activated in the first place - but I just don't care! Lol. In addition to having Moon in Sagittarius, I also have my Pisces Jupiter in the 9th House in my Sidereal, Equal and Whole Sign House System(s) natal charts - which I'm positive is why I identify with the few Sag Moon traits in the first place. The 9th House ruler is in its own house.

Plus, like Kanno McAfee said, "Cancer rising also will not generally allow full expression of the typical qualities of Moon in Sagittarius because of its natural cautions."

I have a Cancer moon and I'm constantly being accused of not being emotional enough or not warm enough (which is ******** ). And as I'm a loner by nature I definitely do not crave confirmation for my existene. Can't relate to your experiences at all.

"Moon in Sagittarius – These people are always on the go and hate being in one spot for too long. They love travel and wouldn’t mind going somewhere overseas. Traveling gives them an opportunity to recharge themselves emotionally. Most people with this placement or dominant Sagittarius placements in general have a strong sense of humor. Anybody with a Sagittarius Moon loves a great laugh from time to time. If you take jokes too seriously, these aren’t the ideal friends for you"

My sister has a Sag moon and she is moody and doesn't travel much. The same as a cousin of mine. But I can't relate to my moon sign either (I'm not really a nurturer) so I reckon it'S always the whole chart that needs to be taken into account

Cap Moon description fits me well.
I knew from a very early age what my responsibilities were and I tried to always oblige.

Then I had some type of a freak-out between the ages 25-35 where I partied HARD :-/

Now I’m back to taking responsibility.

I can be very romantic thanks to my Cancer Sun but will completely rot if it’s expected of me!

Virgo Moon here. I'm far from a neat freak and my home is often messy... But my thoughts and habits are very organized. I have a routine for every little thing. Not OCD or anything, I just have ingrained habits. Everything has its particular place too, it's just that I'm a bit of a hoarder (especially books, clothes, perfume) so I tend to run out of space... I'm not particularily bothered by any sort of mess really. I grew up with a pack of dogs, and I think that's a very good antidote agains any neat freak tendencies, they probably died a very slobbery death in the cradle...

I don't bother with to-do lists or planners, but I do think ahead and consider the most efficient way of doing things. I'm rather relaxed about it though. I'm not the sort to plan a vacation in detail (I like being spontaneous too). Nor am I likely to be very disturbed if something upsets my plans, I'm an adaptable sort. I do like things to be well organized though, the thing that probably frustrates me most in life is when I encounter idiotic designs and non-efficient organisations. Especially related to information and communication. I definitely have good organization skills, when I bother to use them. I'm a librarian by profession so those skills do come in handy at work.

My Virgo Moon is in the 12th and makes a ton of aspects. Square Gem 9th Sun, square Sag 3rd Saturn, trine Cap 3rd Neptune, sextile Sco 1st/2nd Pluto, sextile Midheaven and Can 9th Mars and Mercury...

I have a Gem moon (unaspected) and I am my own therapist 24/7. The inner monologue is constantly on play in my head (often verbalized out loud too). I NEED to analyze my feelings (everything actually) but I'm also a loner (heavy Taurus placements, Uranian) so I just talk to myself a lot.

My progressed moon is in Scorpio and I relate to the description for that as well. When talking to others, the Gem in me likes to have long conversations and the Scorp in me prefers that they be about the other people's problems.

The Gem/Scorp energies in me basically turned me into a psychotherapist for all my friends b/c I love analysing everyone's emotional issues and giving practical advice. I've even considered becoming a real therapist but I don't care enough about strangers' problems? The Taurus stellium in me just couldn't be bothered unless I actually care about you. 😂

I'm a Leo rising, Gem moon and I also pick up on Leo/Gem energy almost immediately. Gem moons tend to talk faster than Gem suns, I've also noticed. Depends on a lot of other factors, of course.

This is unrelated but I saw your username and got curious. Are you into bonsai? B/c I've been learning it for 5+ years.
