Those notebooks, well actually it had been a ritual for the last 3 or 2 years, after a theatre performance, concert etc. when being in my hotelroom scribbling down things I remembered or shooting through my mind RIGHT AWAY, before they get altered through my mind and memory.

Though recently this has been partly changing a little, as I am often been given a ride, so no hotelroom for me. God, I miss my hotelrooms! lol

But I also sit down at home writing down, though I occasionally disrupt my routine and also write down things about OTHER performances, not just P`s.

Not that this happened often, it happened once or twice after seeing Lancelot and recently after seeing Dracula - and sacrileguous maybe, but I put my notes concerning Dracula into the SAME notebook as the P-stuff goes into.

ARe you just as shocked by this outrageous act like me? lol

Deck prism:

I have a blue one. Bought it at Mystic Seaport. Old ships had holes in the decks where they inserted these prisms, which scattered light below.

I've always loved ships, ports, sailing, the romance of the sea. Sea shanties. Usually had pictures around me of sailing scenes, too.

Anyway I store my watch and wedding rings on my deck prism and it's like a form of art to me, how everything comes together.

Must be all that Neptune, again.

Wow! I love that!

Which reminds me that I still have the crystal on my bedside table that I bought many years ago - curiously I JUST remember - it was 6 years ago, when seeing "Carmen", and I happened to come across this little esoteric store (well I tried to pass it, but when getting lost and it was raining and me passing the store again, I surrendered and got in. lol)

Anyway, the thing that stuck with me was, how many years ago I would see unicorns everywhere, but I had lost that. Somehow unicorns had disappeared from view, and this was the first thing I saw in that store. Unicorns. lol

Well I left the store with a (fake) Egyptian looking mirror, the mirror of Isis. lol

And a crystal which has been beside my bedside table ever since.

Similiar to this one

and a candle like this

I love when people just have basic makeup that they treasure. Makes me think they are easy to get along with, down to earth, but classy.

I think I'm paranoid about my family finding my notes. I want the freedom to write strictly private thoughts. My mother used to write in shorthand, and her notes were everywhere. I need to learn shorthand, too.

I don't want to have to go through all the trouble of being relatable, taking a broad possible audience into account, when I'm only talking to myself.

I have that same white crystal, Ceri. I inherited it from my Pisces moon mother-in-law. I also got her seashell collection, which is just so fitting, I think....that I would be the one to end up with her shells.

My favorite looks like this:

And I LOVE THESE:

OH LURD HOW LUCKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

My jaw just dropped reading your post.

I LOVE visiting mines and wish I live near one.

I love garnet. What colours does the mine near your place produce?

I know several cap suns who like rocks. Some are slightly obsessed, whether they realize it or not.

I have this male cap sun conj saturn friend who I think likes rocks but doesn't really *know* that. At the book stores he would gaze at the rock paper stopper displays and mentally debate buying them. At the river bank he would play with pebbles. Once I gave him a smooth big beautiful purple-blue rock and for the whole meal, it distracted him from our conversation. His hand was on it and he could hardly keep his eyes off of it.

I LOVE that shell you posted. Lovely shine. And the prisms. They look magical under sunlight. Makes me think of stained glass. I like churches purely for the stained glass windows.

@muddy & Elysia

muddy, I didn't know garnets could be anything other than dark red. My rock looks like a chunk of this:

I've never actually been to the mine, not sure if it's open to the public. This rock was my mother-in-law's and my husband explained where it came from, and when we pass the mine from the road, my husband talks about it.

Hehehe I love your story of the Cap who didn't even know how much he likes rocks.

@Elysia

Thanks for trying to find me. I feel like Waldo, just blending in with the rest of America.

You probably have cool items but you're too private to show us. Its okay. You don't have to. When you give me enough clues to locate YOU, maybe I will stalk you with Google Earth and learn some things.

Just kidding!

Strangely I like everything that Faith does.. I am Capricorn Sun, Aquarius Moon and Venus

also have rocks on my bookshelf
also like amazon, I have numerous wish lists there
love rooibos teas, probably drink it more than any other tea. I keep trying different flavoured rooibos but have not tried a green one yet
happen to have a favourite shampoo too - it leaves your hair smelling amazing (most shampoos don't leave a scent that lasts) - A'kin Mandarin shampoo. I think now I want to try yours, Faith
I basically like everything that smells good and everything that sparkles

Temari balls. I love temari balls. This one I got recently:

For some reason I love anything that has lots of colours. This was a cross stitch that I did (took me 4.5 years to do, but happier for it)

Not sure what in my chart would make me like them, but I like em.

Thank you

My Neptune's in Capricorn in fourth house. It forms a sextile to pluto and an opposition to my moon. Do you know what that could mean? (I'm still learning about aspects between specific planets and how they play out)

Thank you Faith.

I really like those glass prisms and more because of the story behind them.

It's interesting about capricorns liking rocks - I'd never have associated the sign with them but It gives me gift ideas for a cap now.

Children love stones, rocks and sticks - as you probably know - so I find it strange for the adult sign to also have that love of them. Not that it seems a childish thing but it does seem a ..magical thing which contradicts with its rational sign? Or maybe it's that point of magic for cap, the earths magic over and representative of time. Though thinking about it, I suppose it's more scientific than magical - it's just I think of them as talismans/amulets but I suppose Saturn is right on the bridge between so it kind of does make sense.

Seems Pisces to have that magical aspect so maybe you experience both. Also, I remember xodian describing how gems are associated with Pluto because of the hidden and underground and finding aspect I think.

Muddy, I find that story about your friend with the rock so endearing too. It's so cute!

Something else I like, which is intangible, and which I've noticed not many seem to .

I love hearing people talk about their work. I ask so many questions and in my mind I'm imagining it all. It doesn't have to be anything that interesting although it invites my curiosity more when it is. I don't know how to explain but it's something similar to liking watching sports I'm not invested in and can put my immediate concerns on the back burner but also being close to someone's personal interests whilst absent from too.

Have had people apologise for talking about work when I've actually drawn it out from them. There's almost something peverted about it - not literally sexual but it's as if it were, like I fetishise it and have that drive to know.

I think it could be 6th house sun ( opp Uranus in Scorpio again). Or maybe Venus sq Saturn. Or maybe merc opp Pluto lol I really don't know.

I think it is merc opp Pluto, thinking about it, as its that digging into the everyday and feels a bit like a journalistic impulse.
