but if we are talking about favorite things, that ought to be my phone. Its a Gemini Moon thing. I have to always keep my mind occupied at any time, so I pull up my phone with a dramatic gesture if the check out line of 1 person is taking to long. IP: Logged |

Like my secondhand iPad, that allows me to watch things, read email, or surf the internet, wherever I am? (If they have wifi.) And my little phone that allows me to listen to things on youtube? Gemini Moon/Venus. Cusp of the 8th: allows me to shut out everything else if I'm out in public, if I remember my headphones. Netflix would be included in that: Mars in Pisces square those in Gemini, helping with the escape. IP: Logged |

Peculiar objects... maybe my Jiminy Cricket decoration/ornament. It has him hanging by his umbrella, from a pole. I'm not sure. There's a tie-in to my childhood, and something mum told me (that he was outside my window, and would tell Santa if I didn't go to sleep - I teased her by calling out, "Mommy, is Jiminy Cricket still outside?!" "Yes, he is! Now go to sleep!") That might also be my Mars in Pisces in the 4th, squaring Moon/Venus. IP: Logged |

Me, too. (Another Gemini Moon, and Gemini Mars, here.) I'm pretty sure that if I was dropped off on a desert island with my phone, a battery that never died and a never ending Wi-Fi connection, I would be just fine. IP: Logged |

I don't have a phone, I guess that makes me stranger every year. I think it's my Neptune overload, limiting contact so I have more time to dream. IP: Logged |

That is CUTE! I have almost no objects from my childhood, except memorabilia (yearbooks) some letters and photos, and a Christmas pin that my mother used to wear. Since I adored that pin when I was little, and thought she was the most beautiful woman ever when she was wearing it, I'm really glad I have this! IP: Logged |

And then you could just call for rescue when it got boring, instead of building an SOS out of driftwood on the beach (that's so old school ) But gosh you just reminded me of just how badly I want to be on island right now.... IP: Logged |

I have a hard time letting go of anything. Though I definitely wouldn't say I'm a hoarder or even have clutter. I have a full closet and boxes in the garage. I love my electronics and my vehicles. Other than that I deeply cherish gifts or things tied to people that I love. Things that I've bought for a special occasion. I'm not really sure about the astrology honestly. The OP does know my chart though and probably has some ideas about what it could be. IP: Logged |

Here is a random, favorite item that I have. It's one of the few things that I would definitely have to buy again, if my house burned down (because I'm not that attached to most of the things that I own...) Deck prism: I have a blue one. Bought it at Mystic Seaport. Old ships had holes in the decks where they inserted these prisms, which scattered light below. I've always loved ships, ports, sailing, the romance of the sea. Sea shanties. Usually had pictures around me of sailing scenes, too. Anyway I store my watch and wedding rings on my deck prism and it's like a form of art to me, how everything comes together. Must be all that Neptune, again. IP: Logged |

I also have a rock/crystal/seashell collection. And I have a theory that Capricorn suns tend to collect rocks. If you're a Cap and reading this.... I'm curious if you have rocks around? I have them in my closet, on the bookshelf, tucked around the base of my candle.... I'm asking because both my Cap sun friends also bring rocks into the house and have their favorites, and I was amazed when I first discovered that. But maybe it's just coincidence. IP: Logged |

I love traveling! Don't get to do it as often as I want, but I just realized it's been a running theme in my life. Guess it's my DSC (which I feel more and more like everyday). Books. The Internet. Information. Phone calls. Neutral Colors (that I would say is specifically my Taurus Moon, everything else sounds like my Gemini ASC but really, Taurus is very thorough so how to differentiate)? Fresh air, fresh food. Fashion. Sports clothes (could live in Spandex - hello tomboy Aries side) A good fight Winning IP: Logged |

Oh yeah, I collect rocks, sea glass, seashells, pearls, corals, raw gemstones...etc... Dried flowers and leaves too, but they're delicate and not very travel-friendly, so after a while I started to cast them in resin. I play with them, sometimes sleep with them near me, much like a dragon sleeping on its treasure. I love them the best, next to my books, sentimental gifts and mementos. I had a piece of coconut candy that my friend gave me when we were children. My parents moved around and sometimes took me with them. She missed me so she saved that candy for me. It didn't even go moldy. Now it's in resin and resides in my wallet, yeah thinking back I'm kinda glad I didn't eat it lol heaven knows what's in it. Whenever she does s.t that burst my blood vessels I tend to touch the candy to calm myself down. I always keep a piece of silver blessed by a Buddhist monk on my person. A friend gave it to me (long story). His grandmother got it for his grandfather for protection when he got sent to war. I like things that have history n stories. Makes my life feel rich. I like listening to people telling stories behind their stuff too. I attribute it to saturn influence. I don't like having too much stuff, so as the collection of my favourite things grows, I have to cut down the number of other things. IP: Logged |

I just had my cell phone stolen today. I was at the post office running errands and I do remember taking it out to check the time and then after that, I don't know where it went. I am so angry and sad right now. I think I was hugely emotionally attached to it as it kept boredom at bay..... Moon in 3rd house IP: Logged |

@hannaI love your list! Makes me happy seeing so many good things all in a list like that. Travel is probably my favorite "thing," too. Just being out in the world. @muddy Your whole post is a delight but this is just so perfect: "I play with them, sometimes sleep with them near me, much like a dragon sleeping on its treasure." OMG that's it! That's exactly it!! You understand. I don't sleep with them but treasure them like that, they support and speak to the ancient part of me. There's a garnet mine near my house, and I have garnets lodged in a rock from there. Garnets are my birth stone. So my rock may be worth $0.05, but to me it's precious. @Aries So sorry! That sucks! I said on my original list that I deleted that I love amazon.com. Because I get really attached to certain products that apparently no one else likes enough, and stores stop carrying them. (Is that my Aqua Mercury square Uranus again? I like stuff no one else does?) Amazon. com is the angel that reunites me with these odd products that I adore. Things I keep re-ordering from amazon: 1) Green Rooibos Tea It's healthy and delicious and so much better than red rooibos. 6H sun. 2) Ylang Ylang Conditioner from Avalon Organics. Says on the bottle that it makes your hair shine. It really does!! Leo rising, must have.

Glass especially purple Lights Boxes / safes / locks Children's drawings - any, not just sentimentally Specifically strange.. Scientific glassware Artwork or sculptures which look like they've some symbolic meaning or function. Things I don't like which might sum it up better .. I don't like many things with a human or animal quality (except for birds). Last week I found a candle with my absolute favourite colour and shade of colour, that I rarely see, but it was in the shape of a cat. I could only reconcile buying it by figuring I'd melt it down until the head was gone. LOL I do actually like cats too but I just don't want a representation of one. Non-aesthetically ... I like ... Any body of water, watching sports matches where I don't support any side but someone else does, bizarre mix-ups and misinterpretations, characters on tv who have a warm and capable manner, villages, places with a strange / surreal & lonely atmosphere Ive got this essential oil burner I wish I had this safe even tho I've nothing valuable to put in. It's just the lock and velvet aspect Aspects .. Not sure but think a lot is to do with Aquarius (science, glass, birds, abstract ) and Scorpio (mystery). I've Uranus conj asc in Scorpio, 1st house. Also, opposite sun. Ic in Aquarius. IP: Logged |

Thanks Faith. Its amazing how emotionally attached we humans can get when it comes to objects. It messed with my mood for a long while . I'll just have to buy another one and be extra careful this time. sigh. Oh, and @Orange IP: Logged |
