Topic: Am i a capricorn rising?

Hello LL im really trying to figure my asc sign out i have a birthtime from my mom BUT the time i have literally puts me at 0 degree aquarius rising idk i really think i might be a late degree capricorn rising literally like 3 minutes difference and im capricorn I would really appreciate if anyone can give me there input as to if im a cappy rising or aqua rising i made a thread like 2 years ago about aqua rising but after reading post and seeing the physical attributes associated with a cap asc I think that might be me i also noticed i seem to have more relationships with more earth mars and venus than i do air but im still not sure Im a scorpio sun

Cap rising typically has an elfin look and often stick-out ears.You don't have stick-out ears. But I checked astrofaces.com for comparison photos. There's a picture of a Scorpio sun/Aqua moon/Cap rising guy there...  He doesn't have stick-out ears either. edit - didn't see the question was Cap vs Aqua. Well I consider 0° Aqua a cusp degree with its own unique energy. IP: Logged |

There is more than one way to figure out an Ascendant sign.If you are off by minutes, check out the Ruling planet for both Ascendants. The first will be Saturn, What house is it posited in? what sign is it in? Any close aspects? The second will be Uranus, same thing, what house, what sign, what aspects? Your ruling planet rules your life. It should be easy to figure out from here. one last hint, Cap rising will usually have a somewhat difficult childhood, sometimes filled with responsibilities. This sign blooms as it gets older and yes they are frequently "old souls" good luck!

Thank you for checking  and yes im right at 0 degree aquarius rising i hate the fact that my asc is on the cusp like that i want to know what sign its in but i realize after reading many capricorn asc interpretations i really do relate to a lot of it i was always a "responsible"child always looked out for myself i dont think im an aqua rising to be honest just wanted to get some other opinions

I have saturn in aquarius so still in the first house saturn also squares my sun exact like 0.48 and my uranus and neptune are in capricorn in my 12th house and i wouldnt say i had a "difficult" childhood but it was pretty restrictive until i was about 18ish my dads a police officer so i was never one to drink smoke when i was young its hard to hide things from a cop lmao especially when hes like my bestfriend One thing i did notice is that i do feel like im blooming the older i get as in i became much more friendlier and outgoing and just willing to have fun and be social im 23 IP: Logged |

What is your birth date/place?Without that, I'd say your facial outline is squarish/rectangular favoring fixed sign Aquarius, making Capricorn worth considering only if there is added planetary fixity affecting Asc (or chart overall) such as Uranus conjunct/parallel Asc. ------------------

Thanks for your help i really appreciate it After doing some research on capricorn risers internally i feel like it does fit my personality to the T way more than aquarius rising does im
Not necesarily an "outward" rebel like an aqua asc would be i still have a rebellious streak but its more to my core since i have aqua moon its not like im concerned about "appearing" that way IP: Logged |

In looking through your pictures more and adding that to possible planet/sign quality, I see no evidence at all of Capricorn. Scorpio is very evident, but I don't detect anything Uranian/Aquarian either. The planet positions on your birthdate plus your self-description and pictures give me an elimination setup. It is neither Cap or Aqua. Early Sagittarius (parallel Neptune) is possible, but I think unlikely.I'm not suggesting your mother's time quote is off -- that is another topic -- but I suggest you read about Ascendant in Scorpio and Sagittarius. Sun closely square Saturn is what is throwing this off so that you identify with Capricorn. You're not a Cap riser. ------------------

In placidus you have Sun in 9th (sag) and in equal houses you have sun in 10th (capricorn). >Here< I explain how both systems may likely both be existing and overlapping one another I'm quite certain Since the Sun is alllways more powerful than everything else in the chart (besides maybe the Earth) that will be why you have strong Cap energy. >Here< I explain how there is 2 commonly ways to predict Birth charts, the former method maybe Kannon can help you, and with the latter theory, your birth time is your birth time, as long as you know what it is and it's accurate, then that's your birth chart. Seeing as your rising is at 0'43'' Aquarius, it would have to move back a full 3-4 minutes to be in Cap. Usually hospital times are as accurate as ≤2.5 minutes. But since your minute hand is at ":29" i assume it was noted from some family member at birth. So yeah if you go by the later natal theory then that is your chart. IP: Logged |

Thanks again for looking at my pics more closely and to be honest I don't think I 'm a Scorpio Asc I don't feel that Scorpio I mean I am a scorp sun but I feel if I was a scorp Asc I would strongly identify with scorp right? I also dont feel like a 1st house sun at all and i dont feel like my sun could be in the 12th because i have a VERY strong bond with my father hes literally my bestfriend to this day and hes been there for me in every way shape and form definatly a major influence in my life I do have some sag tendencies my dad is a sag sun/moon/Venus and Gemini asc but I don't feel like I have a fire Asc uggggg this is so frustrating my birth certificate says 12:29 my mom has been into astrology so she made sure to get my birth time and my grandma was there to and she said the same time also I was actually 3 weeks late I was supposed to be a libra and when my mom went into labor she was in labor for literally a whole day she also told me that I almost came out than I slipped back in and didn't fully come out until about 30 minutes after do you have any opinions based on that? Btw my mom is a Leo sun cancer moon and Capricorn asc random but do you have Instagram? I have a lot more pics on my Instagram as well as videos of me with friends and stuff maybe that would help you pinpoint more of how I am? I also know a Cap riser and you look very similar to him with facial structure and ears. My guy says you're a Cap rising, but I've been wrong before and I haven't analyzed anything too carefully. What should i be looking for exactly? I see my pluto is close to being in the 10 but if i adjust my chart by a couple minutes i dont really see a change in my chart other than asc sign changing IP: Logged |
