What do you think are the natal aspects of people who have it hard in love. People who are prone to having difficult relationships and an unstable love life.. I can think of venus hard aspect saturn and venus in 12th.
I'm interested in what other people have found?

I think maybe Saturn in the 7th. The 11th possibly too because Saturn stunts friendships with others that could otherwise lead to potential mates.

My love life haven't been stable in years. My 10th house Taurus Venus is opposite Saturn/Pluto. Capricorn on my 7th house cusp. Uranus inside my 5th, my love life has been hell. The longest "relationship" I have been in since 2011 has been casual for a year, no drama no jealousy we just exist together and I HATE it because it's not stable or traditional. I want to be married and settled but he's not ready yet. I bide my time until something else better comes along. He's a cancer sun with Gemini Venus/Mars and Virgo moon. I'm a sun/Mars Aries with Gemini moon. I can't stand casual relationships. I sometimes feel doomed in love in this life because of bad karma from a previous life.

I find it difficult to let men who are interested in me close to me. One of the reasons I haven't had a boyfriend ever and I'm a (not ugly ) 25 year old.
I get feelings for men who are distant in a way. Emotional and/or physical distance.

I have moon in cancer opposite saturn
Saturn is conjunct the IC.
And venus in cancer is opposite uranus and neptune.

I have Venus opposite Neptune, I think what I want is in conflict to my desires, I swear I feel this aspect in particular for me works as in having high standards in love which makes it difficult to find love.

I have this aspect too and it's tough. The best thing I've learned is what love really is and what a guy should be like when he is serious about you (passionate vs compasionate) while also understanding that nobody is perfect. That if someone is willing to grow with you, work with you and show you the same kind of compassion that you yourself deserve and show to others.

Venus with Uranus.
Get's bored easily and does the on/off thing.Uranus is pleased but Venus craves for stability.
Not to mention the tendency to get attracted to independent guys and eventually realize that you don't want that at all.
The ultimate dream would be a stabile relationship that magically preserves the trill.
Venus hard aspect with Chiron-self explanatory
Same for Moon&Chiron
I have Venus conjunct Uranus. All my relationships were short lived and after spending some time alone i have come to the conclusion that i don't even want to enter a relationship anymore.

Venus/Uranus really is a tough aspect

I have it as a loose square. I want dudes I can't have because they are taken, or at a great distance because my Venus falls in 9th. The men who are nearest to me in the socialsphere are either too boring or they are platonic love-type friends

It's problematic, and I too feel like I should just give up

Yep, that's it. I've got 12th house Venus square 4th house Saturn and I have no love life whatsoever. None. Zero. Nonexistent. Well, ok, my imagination used to run wild so I had those famed unrequited and illusionary loves Venus in 12th is so fond of, but not anymore, so now I've got nothing. I also have Venus opp. Uranus, which makes it even harder for me to commit. At this point in my life I don't care about love anymore, and, in fact, I don't want it to happen to me, I'm quite satisfied to be on my own. I just gave up.

Can Venus in 8th be similar? my Venus in 8th opposed to Neptune is like the ultimate I have high standards of movie romances that don't exist but in everything that has to do with 8th house I'm super scared of. I have no love life either, and when I do is imaginary because I prefer what I imagine than reality.

venus in aqua (the person really just likes to be friends actually) - but there is great potential in this venus IMO!

venus hard aspect to uranus ("the" overall unstable placement)

also a bit if venus is hard aspecting jupiter (I see a pattern of someone who always switch partner a lot)

venus in hard aspect with neptune as well (I feel that people with this is pretty unlucky with whom they attract, cause they often attract someone bad for them)

unstable moon aspects (difficult to be close emotionally with someone)

difficult sun aspects....(the person is to independant and hard to figure out)

venus in hard aspect with pluto (jealousy problems) - also goes with scorpio venus sometimes I would say

too much gemini (too restless, always thinks the grass is greener on the other side)

hmm... and venus in virgo can also be though because you always think there is someone more perfect out there (which is a lie)

My love life has been a utter disappointment this year. I've been on 8 dates this year and liked two out of the 8. Sorta was briefly seeing at least 4 of them, but then they drifted away or I did. I'm really tired of it.

I was in a relationship for 4 1/2 years and ended it a year, so this is probably just the year of adjustment.

But I have Saturn conjunct Uranus in Sag in the 1st house opposite Gemini Venus in the 7th H. This is such a weird combo of wanting independence but also wanting a stable saturnian relationship. I hope my saturn return will smooth things out. Which is coming up in February.

Moon square Venus could be one. My ex has this. This aspect is said to give the natal person a hard time deciphering what their needs and wants are in love, and thus prone to having unsatisfying relationships because they're needs and wants are at odds. When the natal person is older this aspect is a lot easier to handle. So it could be that love life is difficult when younger but easier when older. I wish I knew more people with this aspect to observe and find out each of their solutions dealing with it when it comes to relationships.

I have this at 0 degrees and you're right, there's a clashing between needs and wants. I've also seen it manifest as not feeling comfortable (moon) with your attractiveness (venus). Literally all the women in my family have this aspect, while the men have trines and sextiles. Talk about astro family karma....
The inconjunct is far worse though imo.

That's really interesting, Salems
By not being comfortable by your attractiveness did you mean not being comfortable by how you attract others or who you attract? Most articles I've read says people with this aspect has problems with the latter but that's with males and with females it's the former

I think a bit of both tbh. Although if that’s true regarding how it operates differently in males vs. females then I would be the former.

For the former- yes, there’s an antagonism with the ways of attracting others. There’s an offish feeling to it.
For the latter-The people I attract (Virgo Venus) are earthy, feminine signs. I love them. They make me feel valued, and in return I really value them. But after a while a hollowness sets in. I start to resent the attachment to the material, I miss my intellectual, up-in-the-air debates and idea trades, and I start to feel stifled (gemini moon).
If I do happen to be with people with a lot of air or masculine signs I feel comfy as pie, but never valued. Never loved QUITE in the way I want to be, and my style of affection isn't what they need nor want.

There’s a trend I’ve noticed with this aspect to attract partners and friends with a predominance of one gender or the other. Almost as if they have to choose between comfort and love. Usually they choose comfort (moon) but end up pretty unhappy about it. I’m not sure if this is just something in the people I’ve seen though or a general rule.

wow that is a difficult combo in deed! But venus in the 7th house is really good, so don't worry How close is the opposition between venus and uranus?

And don't forget, that other factors play a role in the chart as well...
