@vertiver thanks!  I do like the Gemini look, since I have Gem IC and Mars, so for me also, a home is not a home without books 
and Sag Moon agrees. @MahaKali thanks for the pics! they don't make sense at first, but then again the Mars explains it have you also got a prominent Jupiter/9H?
Even though the style is really ethnic, it's still homey in a sense, warm, inviting, the warm colors are def a 4H trait, me thinks.
I noticed that all the pics have an African theme, is that your preference or just a coincidence? IP: Logged |

I love interior design too. Was just thinking lately about that a lot. Today at work i was looking at these kinds of pictures on Pinterest for inspiration to do some DIY stuff. And then I see your post. So interesting how these synchronicities happen Anyway, I have Libra Venus but that one seemed a bit too cold and candy-shop-like for my taste :P. But I really loved the Pisces and the Virgo ones Though I would just take elements from most and combine them together in my way IP: Logged |

I do know a Cancer girl, with Cancer Mercury and Gemini Venus, and for me she is the epitome of Cancer aesthetics, even though she is not one she was always saying, that she gives objects sentimental meaning and can't resist putting them on display, and has "horror vacui", fear of the empty Thanks a lot for the feedback... I myself also have Virgo Mercury, so it strengthens my wood cabin aesthetic..
Haha yeah, I feel a bit of contradiction there too as I am not a tidy person in general, and things will end up getting cluttered. I'm 50/50 for the Cancer and Virgo styles!

I must say I'd go with the Aqua Venus house. Both of us. We like minimalism and much space. Sag IC and Virgo IC. I have a Leo Venus in the 11th house, sextile Uranus and opposite Moon in Aqua. My husband has cancer Venus (first house conjunct Asc) which makes a wide square with Uranus and conjuncts Mercury and I know he will go for that one too. He is very much into house decoration and arty stuff (me too). We both like unconventional, high tech, modern and minimalism, open space, much light, I'd like no doors, big furniture and a twist of old. I like retro and old more than my husband. Like an old fashioned phone or a 70's lamp, kitch chandliers, eccentric couch with velvet and so on. The combination of those will make it perfect! Your pics of Leo Venus is not my taste completely although the couch is nice the aspects to Venus do matter a lot. I also like the Taurus one's because of the building, big, wide and wooden. I can definitely see Taurus all over with bits of Cancer (probably the Moon opposition, also planets in 4H), the pastels, the cuteness, coziness of retro touch, the flower rug, there's a lot of French chic in it me thinks, very charming and romantic indeed

Hehe, that's so cool to hear I thought of bringing some more beauty to LL chat, since it's been bit turbulent lately, so you know us Libras, always trying to harmonize things Yeah, I know, the Libra pics are a bit of a let down, they are all too bright, I should use more lush colors and since Libra is related to Orient, I'd have to spice it up a bit... I will post some pics later to do it justice. Glad you liked Pisces and Virgo ones, apparently they are the most appealing here maybe I put the most effort in choosing them *shrugs*

It's great that you both share the same taste! and in your case the aspects are really strong, the Uranus influence is definitely showing and the Mercury conjunction.. thanks for the description of your style, it makes total sense. If I am to be honest, I didn't really put too much effort into choosing Leo pics, why, beats me
not really my taste either...

Oh, stop it! *blushing* The Gem one is really cute, but my absolute favorite is the Cancer one with the vintage wooden toys, absolutely lovely, would have it in a heartbeat, in smaller scale though
I actually like all trees in all shapes and sizes, we've had the same artificial traditional one in orange gold color theme for years now, and I haven't got tired of it yet IP: Logged |

I'm glad you like them I seem to have had in my head since forever the idea that Libras are in love with everything exotic, Asian especially the food, spices, the smells, India, Japan, China, Middle eastern etc. I have no idea where I got that, but every Libra I know is like that, so *shrug* I'm not claiming it's scientific astrology but I'm gonna post some more pics in that sense hope you'll like them IP: Logged |

I love Interior design but it's a bit of a guilty pleasure because it feels a bit superficial. I liked the aqua Venus one best. My ic, nothing else is in Aqua. I like bikes in the room like your pics show florence. I like when the outside is taken in. I pushed my husband to hang up his surfboard on the wall of our extremely high wall in the open space of our living kitchen. I like my kid to roller blade inside as well. Just open and ALIVE! Also, a kitchen table where you can paint for instance, without being bothered you will spill on the good table. Paint stains are nice! Or put a knife in the table to make a point! really doesn't matter because the table looks alive and is experiencing all these events. IP: Logged |
