I love interior design!
My sense of aesthetics reflects my natal placements A LOT, to a tee actually. Virgo Venus 7H, trine Cap Saturn 12H, square Sag Moon 11H,

I absolutely love the mid-century modern style, love the sleekness of it, with the right amount of organic shapes and playful colors. Love the low profile furniture, extensive use of wood, it's the right amount of elegant and very casual at the same time. I love the Scandinavian design furniture, big windows and open plan living.

Scandinavian style deserves honorable mention, in a way it overlaps with mid-century because of the design, but it's brighter, more monochromatic. If I were to use it, I'd probably mix it up a bit, incorporate some eclecticism, traditional rustic furniture etc. and use darker wood flooring.

I also like industrial, and some ethnic inspired, bohemian styles. I really like southwestern, I absolutely love Georgia O'Keeffe's home

I have an aversion to anything "luxurious", palace, castle-like, to me it just looks kitschy. I've visited loads of castles and palaces and I've liked none of the interiors other than that I can appreciate every style tastefully done.

Here are two great links with different kinds of styles to get you inspired http://blog.froy.com/interior-design-styles-8-popular-types-explained/ http://www.dwellcandy.com/interior-design-styles-2/

What I think Venus signs like in general starting with..

PISCES
Something that stirs up their imagination and has a flowing, zen quality to it. Big, luxurious bathrooms, lots of space, light and fresh air. I think Japanese inspired interior design

AQUARIUS VENUS
Something fresh, exciting, eclectic, surprising, but still bit serious and refined. Industrial hipster.

SAGITTARIUS VENUS
The obvious style would be bohemian, but similar to Pisces, anything that stirs up the imagination, walls of books, bits and pieces of the world, souvenirs, bright, rich colors and lots of light and windows. Outdoor-indoor living.

SCORPIO
For me the toughest to decipher... I think it can go either way, I don't really see strong preferences. Depends probably a lot on the aspects. Trying to avoid the cliche descriptions such as dark, sexy, mysterious, I'd say comfortable and elegant, high quality , with statement pieces, dark wood. Classic contemporary.

Looking forward to your responses, whether you resonate with how I see different tastes, what you like and which chart placement you think is responsible for that

I want to say at first: Good job!

I have a Taurus Moon and like the style of your Taurus Venus. I did buy an old house and renovated it. I have a Libra Venus and do not want to be be surrounded by glitter all day.

My daughter has a Virgo Moon and likes the building of your Virgo Venus. She has a Scorpio Venus and her response to the bed of your Scorpio Venus was: "Nice bed, but it is to large."

Thanks!! I had so much fun looking at pictures and exploring the world of interior design, I totally neglected my daily obligations

Appreciate the feedback! I guess I really should've written Venus or Moon, since the Moon is so important when it comes to everything we feel comfortable in, our surroundings
I really admire renovators, so hats off! It resonates with my own eco Venus.

hahah, I like your daughter's response! Now I'm closer to the true image of Scorpio Venus tastes

Except for Sidereal where I have a 4 planet Stellium.
Natally I have a Cancer Venus.

That's interesting Hm, maybe you've got a prominent Mercury? What's your Moon sign?
Maybe I was just way off. I guess the Gemini pics could also work for Cancer Venus, they're still quite cozy

:o I really liked the Pisces one (that's my venus) in fact I wanted nearly the exact same set up for my room when I was more vegan/spiritual a few years ago. I wanted an empty room, bed in the middle, sun light and planets, and that's it. *plants

I also liked taurus the second most, and that's my venus house placement. I didn't like much else but I liked the colours of Sag, and the hominess of capricorn a bit, and cancer looked quite divine (spiritual).

Also interestingly, my friend who I always went to his house, really really reminded me of the gemini one. His mom set up the whole house obviously (single parent), so I checked her venus placement. Gemini in the third house. Wow. 👍

Wow, I'm stoked!
I'll start to think of myself as some kind of sorceress.
but then again, I was born on the cusp of beauty (almost), so I've got an intuitive knack for aesthetic and taste :P
thanks for the feedback!

This is amazing because I didn't know you could have such different kinds of living. I guess I am kind of lacking in that department, always settle for the crappiest kind of living space and get the minimum things (chair table).

But if I had the choice, I would have loved the Pisces one so much a few years ago when I was more spiritual. It's amazing to see you can incorporate essence and ways of being into a phsyical environment, it changes whole feeling and outlook of the place, as if it reflected your mission. I spend a lot of time at home for a couple years now and it excites me to think you can make it like a different reality that you interact in. It's basically like another world you can meld. I see that now. It's almost on par with going to different nature spots. But just at your home.

Soren, I am glad that the pics are inspiring to you
but in general, I am not one to be promoting such lavish and materialistic way of living, the more a person has, the more weight they bear and makes them possessive and selfish. The large majority of people could never afford that kind of lifestyle anyway. I am actually a strong supporter of minimalist lifestyle with as little of waste possible, but I do like watching beautiful things On the other hand, I think it's recommendable to make your home a reflection of your character and way of life

True. Most aren't this rich. Right now I can't decorate my house but if I had money I would buy the most interesting things. Beautiful, interesting, like a patterned wood pallet. And have planets, and giant windows.
