I liked this one, must be my Pisces Venus trine Scorpio Pluto. ------------------ ♈ ♎ ♋ IP: Logged |

Venus in Cancer 9th house | Conjunct Mars/Jupiter | Opposite Uranus in CapricornI'm very into 'clean, soft, elegant' looking interiors with wood elements and a pinch of middle eastern spice. I I'm gonna post a few examples of how that kinda looks

What an original, well-crafted room, Florence! What an amazing thread, Belba! Although I probably wouldn't live in all the houses you posted, I loved all of them, you have exquisite taste for all styles While eco-friendly is a must to me, but also wood, rustic, nature, open spaces, I found the Virgo Venus examples a bit dry. I think this is how we can see the importance of Venus aspects and if I might add, I would also look at the IC/4th house and ruler and possibly the Moon for interior design taste, at least when it comes to the kind of home we would have. Getting back to Venus aspects, my closest aspect (in orb) is a square to Neptune, then the opp to Jupiter. My Venus is in the 8th house. My 4th is in Taurus/Gemini, which would make Venus my 4th house ruler, of course, and the Moon is in Leo 7th, also trine Neptune. I think my kind of home has something otherworldly about it, yet being, rustic, Bohemian , dramatic, eco-friendly (solar power, recycling etc), close to nature, with lots of plants too, huge windows and space. This is a home I've had that I decorated myself, without having finished though (mostly painted it all over haha - it doesn't exist anymore, it was demolished, but it's close to what I'd like). Let me know what this suggests to you. Oh and I am an artist, so the need for light and colors might be related to that, after all. P.S. Don't mind the ghost
...and it had a red room

Thank you LeeLoo The picture of your former place has a very nice luminescent, bohemian, happy feel about it. I'm having trouble translating aesthetics to the chart but I feel.. The layout seems mercurial - like it has hub, that I associate with Gemini and how they arrange. Is that an old stove? It makes me think Virgo and also I suppose Leo moon, together with the ceiling height. And I feel like the luminescence with its diffusion is your Neptune with Venus as something about the placement reminds me very much of libra. Am working backwards here as I recall some of your chart and which you mentioned. Also, I suppose sometimes what is shown says as much as the style. For example, I'm Taurus Venus with a chair and the chest feels very Taurus/Scorpio (my asc) axis. IP: Logged |

So glad for this thread! I love interior design- and like op I'm really into mid century style furniture and large windows. R. Venus in Capricorn (6th house) ~ sextile Scorpio moon (4th house). My Venus is part of a 6th house stellium so I wouldn't be surprised if there are some Virgo-like qualities there. (Also sextile Chiron and trine Mc if those relate).
