To me, it is disheartening to see, and this is why I interfered on this thread, blatant discrimination posing as victimization. And denial of reality and facts about the world around us, either as men or women. This irresponsible parade of alternative realities.

Venusincap, you are supposed to know men and women are not yet equal. It's your responsibility to know such a basic fact about the world around you, not mine to prove it to you. And if you want to live in a place where you are treated equally, it's your responsibility to promote the yet desired equality, not undermine it, with senseless posts about how female scientists are dumber, or how no amount of mathematical data can make you accept reality.

Discrimination (women, minorities) is an old deep wound in need of healing with tangible equality and the opposite attitude that you have. Respect that and you will have respect. well in a new time as we are more intune with who the child belongs to; who has to be secured to pay for the child (equal rights, feminine energy of equal nurturement) then it is more valuable to try to take responsibility for your child, and to genuinely want a good relationship where get to be with the child if you have to pay for it. the women control who their child is with, even if the man gets her pregnant she can abort. she chooses. so it is an advancement that many genuine caring men wish they could have. to say 'i choose you to pay my child labour'. men can not do the same.

as per this, i can see the equality in the message. any person who believes in balance/karma/ metaphysics knows that everything is happening from a cause. everything happens for a reason; maybe if men didn't get paid more; they would refuse to build the buildings that ONLY THEY could build; thus they had the power to demand more. women could not build those things; therefore they did not offer what the society needed in that area. in metaphysics everything has a balance and cause; including woman's in their perspectives ' lack of opportunity'. now that the energy shifted; if the laws of the universe call for it; if they truly NEED it; they will get more opportunities. i see it as neautral from both sides; it's true they were getting from the universe what they needed; they didn't need opportunities like men did; but it's true that at that time they were in their right place of what they deserved.

though i believe the context was more recent; where they did deserve more; in that case; they will get it.

in short: women might complain they did not have what men had. in argument: at that time they DID not need it.
